Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Furesø Municipality

My partner and I have just come back from a dream month at this beautiful lake house. Inge and her sisters are exceptional hosts. The house is beautiful and full of character. Spending sunny days in the large main room overlooking the garden and lake, then cosying up in the separate tv room in the evening made every day near perfect. Our hosts provided bikes and a canoe and rowboat, which made for perfect summer activities. Swimming in the lake when the water is clear is enormous fun, too. There are good shops locally that sell everything you might need, and the kitchen has every appliance you could wish for. Waking up in the morning and looking out of the window to see deer playing in the garden was a regular occurrence, but not one that ever felt ordinary. We can’t wait to come back.

A place was wonderfull. Theresa was completely trouble-free. I would recommend this place for everyone as a great alternative to a city center.

Morten's place is fantastic. Absolutely stunning house for the couple of us. Great big garden to have morning coffee and only 15-20 walk to the station. The walk is beautiful too, through forests and beside lakes. I cannot recommend this place highly enough as we had friends live nearby, and we trained into Copenhagen everyday. The fridge was stocked with essentials, and the coffee machine just added to an already beautiful morning routine! Will be going back in the future, Thanks Morten and family.

We stayed one full week in Birkerød with 2 kids. Many Airbnb locations are clean, only ment for rental. This location is clearly a family house, with a warm welcoming atmosphere, a lovely garden with vegetables and a lot of berries (end of July) when we were there. It's in a calm neighborhood, but shops and public transport are within walking distance. One shop is open until 10 PM. The communication (mainly with Per) before & during was always really friendly & straightforward. We all definitely liked our stay there!

Torben and Priscilla have a beautiful home that is situated perfectly for anyone wanting to explore both the city of Copenhagen and some of the northern parts of Sjælland. They were gracious and welcoming hosts and we had everything we needed for our two kids and my parents who were visiting from the US. My brother joined us for the last day and a half of our stay and there was still plenty of room for everyone. We would gladly recommend this stay to anyone. :-)

Good location. Many cafes and supermarkets nearby. Tidy house but no hair dryer provided. Little imperfections but still worth to stay.

Sophus’ place for our family of 5 well with everything we needed in an efficient and comfortable space. Convenient to public transportation, groceries and ample free parking on nearby roads. Excellent value!

We stayed at Karina’s apartment for 2 months, as we were in between houses. We are a family of four - and we loved our stay! The apartment was perfect for our needs - clean, cute and warm. Location was good for us - nice area, quite area and close to everything. This is the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! It is an absolutely incredible house with a stunning garden. The technology built into the house really makes this one very special and the view is so beautiful. Even though we were in a street close to other houses we felt completely secluded which was very peaceful. We would love to stay again!

We would highly recommend staying at Mikkel’s home. It was immaculately presented, a clean and cozy space to relax after a day of adventure. It is great for families and really convenient to metro, convenience stores, restaurants and freeways, with an easy quick drive into Copenhagen CBD if you want. This home had everything we needed and more. We had an awesome stay and it made our holiday one to remember. The house is situated in a lovely safe area and we enjoyed easy walking, running and trips to the lake for fun activities. The home was great value for money and we hope to stay there again in the future.

Super cozy house with a lot of charm and located in a rural location. Nice and bright rooms and good beds. Large and private outdoor area suitable for all ages. In the house also lives a lovely and cuddly cat. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with! The train passes by several times a day, but is not a nuisance. A great place I recommend you who travel by car and want to stay in a quiet and nice area :-)

This is a beautiful place to stay and recover after a long day in the city. Easy to get in and out of the city center via the bus or bike ride. Then a beautiful home to relax in the evening. Thor was a wonderful, thoughtful and responsive host. Wonderful stay!

Christine shared her big, lovely house and cozy garden with our family with hospitality and helpfulness. It was a 2-minute walk from the S-train and was thus a perfect, quiet base for a family experience holiday in Copenhagen. In addition, a well-functioning kitchen. We heard the S-trains a bit, but mostly when the windows were open, so it wasn't a problem.

Probably the most wonderful hosts we have come across on Air BnB yet. Kim and Lone were absolutely fantastic to deal with. The house was clean, beautiful and well maintained. Free parking is available as the premises so getting to the central was just 20 mins by car. The house has all the kitchen equipment you possibly need and Kim and Lone have been extremely flexible in allowing us to check in a few hours early as we had an early flight. I not just met the most wonderful hosts but have made friends for life. We will visit this property again and will highly recommend this place to those planning to stay around copenhagen.

Julie's house is in a very beautiful and secluded place. It is really nice to be here, and we would have liked a longer stay. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Bo’s beautifully designed house and it had ample space for all of us. Bo kept in touch with us regularly which was very helpful. Gentofte is a lovely neighbourhood and the house is right by the lake and close to shops, cafes etc!
