Stayed for only one night, but it was really enjoyable. Great quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Would love too come back some day.

Very nice stay as described. Cozy little wooden cabin, opportunity to cook over a fire with your own brought items for it. Cozy with a view of small lake. Located by the farm and with a view of the barn. Completely private, we only met Jørgen when he came down and greeted us and allowed us to finally contact him if needed. Really good place for the price 😉

Very nice experience of Danish life. Anne and her family are welcoming and leave you the choice of resting or sharing. It's a family with a lot of life skills. They will quickly see how to welcome you to make you feel at home. Access to all amenities without time constraints of course.

Great cottage in scenic area and close to very child-friendly beach. The cottage has everything you need for a great holiday, and the house and area call for relaxation and nature experiences.

The two days we were allowed to spend with Karin and Detlef on their beautiful estate on Æro are among the highlights of our 5-week bike tour through Denmark. We were warmly welcomed by the two of them and by Emil the cat and immediately felt very comfortable and welcome. Sleeping in the construction trailer was comfortable and convenient. Since no other guests were there, we had the very well-equipped kitchen, shower and bathroom to ourselves, which we enjoyed very much. Sitting in the kitchen, watching the chickens and the rooster in the garden, drinking coffee from the beautiful ceramic cups and just doing nothing for once was a treat for us. The meeting and the conversations with Karin and Detlef were inspiring, interesting and exciting. They have created a small paradise here with a lot of work and passion and we are grateful that we were able to experience this paradise for 2 days.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Henrik and Marta were incredibly helpful and welcoming from start to finish, and their sweet dog Lady was so patient with our little dog. The location was lovely—peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly situated for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

We stayed for about a week at Joan and Henning’s beautiful little house in a quiet area near the Baltic Sea. Everything was as described and we instantly felt as we come home (danish people would probably say “hygge” 😊). Joan and Henning came around to say hello and we had warming welcome and a friendly conversation about hiking trips and the local towns. They even offer us a ride back, if we had to leave our car. This is more than just hosting an AirBnb! Thank you so much - we definitely recommend this place!

Great view from the house. It had everything we needed.

For three weeks we enjoyed the view of the sea from the terrace with wonderful sunsets and rainy shipping traffic on the horizon. The tranquility that surrounds this area of three houses and garden is phenomenal. We found it's a very good place to relax. Everything necessary is available in the house. The bathing jetty nearby allows for a quick bath. And the house is very well suited as a starting point for hikes and bike rides on Røsnæs. The only downside was the access to the house. Due to rains before our arrival, the gravel path was so soft that we once came down by car, but had considerable trouble driving up the slope. The car had to stay upstairs. More rains damaged the path so that it was locked up. Due to knee problems, the way down was difficult for me to do, not at all in the dark. We really hope this issue will be resolved as we would love to return. Gabriele

We had a lovely time here! The tiny house has everything you need and above all a great view. Torben is very accommodating - thank you again for the helpful tips, we had a nice last day at the beach and delicious soft ice cream! All in all, highly recommended :-)

We had a wonderful stay at the little cottage. Everything you need is there. A special highlight are the kayaks. The view of the sea is also unique. The location is very secluded. If you want absolute peace and relaxation, the area is just right. However, if you want more hustle and bustle and activities, the location may not be ideal, as it is very quietly located by the forest. All in all, we felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the house. The cleanliness was also good. The contact with the landlords is very hospitable and accommodating. We were very pleased about the welcome gesture!

One of my most cherished stays in Denmark. Tucked away in lush greenery, this tiny house felt like a hidden sanctuary. The whole area has a charming countryside vibe, and the house is beautifully secluded — perfect for unwinding. Every detail inside was thoughtfully curated — so cozy, cute, and full of warmth. You can feel the love Sussie has poured into it. The rain only made it more magical, and I felt completely at peace. If I had the chance, I’d stay longer. Thank you, Sussie, for creating such a special place — a true gem I’ll never forget.

We had a great stay in the small hut near Dhala. She welcomed us very warmly with her friendly and open manner, and we immediately felt comfortable. The cottage is clean, cozy and furnished with love. The surroundings are quiet and not far from the sea - perfect for switching off. We slept great and were able to really relax. Thank you for the wonderful time - we will be happy to come back! :))

We didn't meet Stine and Jørgen in person, but they seemed super nice and welcoming in their messages. Communication was easy and nice throughout. The house was really cozy, clean, and had a nice vibe – it was clear that they care that their guests should feel comfortable. We felt very welcome and could easily come back another time. We spent a great week with our three children in Stine's cozy cottage. Everything we needed was there and there were many play opportunities for the children. We particularly liked the direct location on the beach and to beautiful excursion destinations (Aarhus, Lego House). The contact with Stine was very nice and smooth. We felt very comfortable here.

I stayed at the place with my sister for two nights because a friend of mine got married in the area. The house is small but very beautiful and clean. The interior is lovely and the view is great. It’s a quiet area which I loved! Karen was very helpful and friendly. We had a great time. Thank you! Oh and the porch is amazing. We couldn’t really use it because of the weather but it’s still worth mentioning.

This little house quite close to the fjord is a perfect place if you want peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings. The little house has everything you need for a few relaxing days, nothing is missing, a nice terrace and the water is only 1 meter away. In addition, we got taste samples of the home pressed apple juice and lovely blackcurrant jam. Then I can highly recommend Ejvind's little house

It is very nice to be welcomed again without key boxes and codes. Cottage is extremely tastefully decorated, with beautiful and properly dosed household goods and beautifully selected bed linen and bedspreads. A cozy terrace with a unique view. Beautiful evening walk to the surrounding beaches.

We felt very comfortable for the long weekend. If there were any problems, you got answers right away. We would choose this accommodation again at any time 😊👍 Thank you for the time out, rest and relaxation 😊

I would like to come back here! A really cozy little place on top of a hill with the most beautiful view. The cottage is cozy and tastefully decorated. Elisabeth is also a proactive and welcoming host, who took the time to make sure I got settled in well. The location itself is really ideal, as it is within cycling distance of Ærøskøbing, a 20-minute walk from Voderup Klint, you can sit in the living room and follow the ferries' journey. Ah, I actually didn't want to leave, but I'll have to come back another time. Thank you for a lovely place to be!

My best friend and I had a very nice week at this summer house! The house has the perfect location to escape it all — surrounded by nature and nicely furnished. Everything you need is there. Katja and John were also likeable and helpful hosts!
