House holiday rentals in Frontignano

We loved our stay in Sara's rustic farmhouse cottage with its glorious views across the valley, little hill towns on the other side and a beautiful scenic drive across to Orvieto on one side (about 1 hour) and Todi on the other. The pool was heavenly. We only had swimming weather for the first week but we were in every day. When the mornings were cold, I also enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning sun, reading and drinking my coffee. The garden is also beautiful and very quiet. It was so peaceful here - and what a dream to have the pool to ourselves. Sara lives in the other half of the house with Simone, her partner, and Eugene, the dog - but we never saw them (they have their own entrance) except when they were cleaning the pool. The house is full of art and ceramics, some of which are Sara's own, and we even had lunch in Todi at Simone's restaurant. Yes, the road is rough, but so are all roads in Umbria. We have a mini and the road was not a problem.

Wow! What an incredible property. We loved our time staying at ‘the tower’. It is a beautiful setting among the olives and vines on a hilltop. The surrounding area is beautiful and it’s an easy walk to local vineyards and restaurants. Only one caveat: the WiFi is very weak and not suitable for video calls.

Pictures don’t do the property and spectacular view justice. We had an amazing family holiday, our host couldn’t have been more accommodating, even leaving us kind gifts. Location was perfect (close enough to town and the airport but feeling secluded), having a bathroom each was great, and again that view was stunning. It all made for a perfect family trip :)

Daiana’s place is clean and spacious and in a lovely location. The beds and sofa were very comfortable and Daiana was very responsive and helpful. And flexible with check out. The house could do with a few more basic items which Daiana provided when requested. We were attending an event at the nearby castle so it was as an ideal location. The pool however was still closed for the winter so worth checking in advance.

Adele is the best host we have had in our history of AirBNBing. She helped us when we got stranded, she was proactive with her communications, and extremely friendly. She is an angel, and we truly enjoyed staying at her property. The property itself was gorgeous, spacious, with stunning views, super clean, and had more than required amenities. Overall, we loved our stay and we would return to Adele 100% given another chance. THANK YOU!

Paola und William haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und alles so liebevoll vorbereitet, so wie man es für gute Freunde tun würde! Danke, dass ihr den Pool eine Woche früher geöffnet habt, wir haben das sehr genossen und waren täglich schwimmen! Welch ein Luxus, so einen großen Pool ganz für sich zu haben! Haus und Pool sind eingebettet in perfekt gepflegte Grünanlagen mit Olivenbäumen, Rosmarin, Lavendel und vielem mehr. So viele schöne Ausflüge die man machen kann, aber des Schönste war es abends auf der Terrasse zu essen, über das weite Tal hinweg zu schauen und den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Ein Traum! Danke, dass wir den Traum bei euch leben durften!

Dejligt sted - virkelig langt fra alt - stille område. Giorgio og hans familie er meget imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Google translate var en god hjælp da vi ikke kunne meget italiensk inden afrejse. Familien kom med gode anbefalinger i nærbyerne. Assisi, Forlignio og Spello er virkelig smukke byer. Lækker pool blev benyttet hver dag - alt er passet og plejet hver dag til glæde for gæsterne.

This is a fabulous large private one storey house with a gorgeous safe garden for our dogs. It’s amazing to be so central in Spello with charming streets, restaurants, bars and boutiques and yet still peaceful and quiet in this property with garden. Sitting outside in various seating options was lovely. Manuela was really helpful even carrying some of our luggage from the square to the house while we had the dogs! A lovely bottle of wine and snacks awaited. There were lots of basics provided which was very useful. All clean and authentic with everything you could think of. We wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights though! The walk up the steps to the car park is most definitely well worth it 🥰

I cannot think of a better place to spend my time in the surroundings! Monia was a great host and the place looks beautiful and spotless

Great house, comfortable and very atmospheric, with a lot of character. Excellent location just outside of the walls of the town, perfect base to explore Umbria. The house is spacious, very well equipped with everything you can possibly need during your stay. Eleonora is very welcoming, helpful and responsive host. We enjoyed our 1-week stay in Villa Dorata so much and would highly recommend it for your future vacation in Todi/Umbria!

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr, sehr schön und wir können die Region, die Kleinstadt Amelia und das Apartment von ganzem Herzen empfehlen. Wir hoffen, dass wir nächstes Jahr wieder hinfahren können. ☺️

Esperienza assolutamente positiva da ripetere sicuramente, posto incantevole per la tranquillità e per le lunghe passeggiate immersi nella natura insieme ai nostri due pelosetti accolti in struttura senza nessun problema. L host molto gentile e disponibile, la struttura è davvero molto bella, gli alloggi molto puliti e attrezzati di molti comfort e la presenza di una piscina impeccabile rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole soprattutto nei periodi più caldi. Siamo stati veramente molto bene e ringrazio di cuore la signora Maddalena per l’accoglienza e per il dolce pensiero che ci ha fatto trovare al nostro arrivo.

Host gentilissimi, i genitori di Eleonora ci hanno atteso per accompagnarci alla casa fino alle 21.30, dato che in viaggio abbiamo avuto un guasto alla nostra auto. La casetta è carinissima, provvista di tutto. un bel bagno con una comoda doccia, tante finestre, condizionatore (noi non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno, la sera ci siamo messi la felpa). Tanta natura intorno, farfalle, lucciole, una sera intravista una cerva. Si raggiungono posti da visitare in un tempo più che ragionevole. Consiglio il meraviglioso altopiano di Campo Imperatore, da lasciarci il cuore. In paese supermercati e tutto ciò che può servire, compresi ottimi ristoranti. Una sera al nostro rientro abbiamo trovato sul tavolo esterno della buonissima frutta dei loro alberi e dei dolci tipici. Un pensiero davvero gentile e molto gradito. Le comunicazioni con Eleonora ottime, rispondeva quasi in tempo reale. Quando torneremo in Abruzzo sceglieremo ancora casa Cinill. Grazie di cuore

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr nett, hilfsbereit, aufgeschlossen, gastfreundlich, familiär und gesellig. Es war hier ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Wir bekamen viele Tipps von Federica und Roberto. Wir hatten ein gemütliches Heim mit einer eigenenTerrasse und einem schattigen Autostellplatz. Wir können den Aufenthalt hier wärmstens empfehlen.

Ons verblijf bij dit agriturismo was subliem. De gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van de hardwerkende mensen hier was hartverwarmend. Je voelt direct dat ze hun werk met liefde en passie doen, zowel voor de gasten als voor de prachtige natuur die hen omringt. De sfeer is authentiek en ontspannen, en het is duidelijk dat er veel zorg wordt besteed aan elk detail. Van de heerlijk verse producten tot de comfortabele en sfeervolle accommodaties, alles draagt bij aan een onvergetelijke ervaring. Wij kunnen dit agriturismo van harte aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een plek waar mens en natuur in perfecte harmonie samenkomen. We kijken ernaar uit om hier in de toekomst opnieuw te mogen verblijven!

Adelaide’s place is very peaceful -- you can hear the birds chirping in the garden and there's a comfortable hammock a few steps from the front door and an outdoor shower nearby -- and yet it's only a few minutes from Atigliano. Important for me: Adelaide is a dog lover and was very kind and helpful with my dog, Mocha. The only small drawback is that the indoor shower is tiny. I'm tall with an average build and could hardly fit in it. But the lovely outdoor shower (which provides privacy) made up for it and is a treat on a hot day.

L’alloggio è immerso nel paesaggio umbro e in un bellissimo contesto privato. La casa è perfettamente pulita e dotata di molti comfort e spazi ben curati all’interno e all’esterno. L’host Enrico è stato sempre molto disponibile e in caso di bisogno risponde in modo tempestivo. Ottima posizione e punto di partenza per visitare le principali città dell’Umbria. Ideale per una vacanze serena e tranquilla!

L'alloggio di Sara e Salvatore è un gioiello curato nei minimi dettagli. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo tutte le piccole attenzioni riservate ai loro ospiti. La vista è incredibile e si gode di una tranquillità impagabile. Gli host sono disponibilissimi. Speriamo di riuscire a tornare prestissimo!

Mario's welcome with a good bottle of red wine and local cookies was a great start for a long peaceful week. The house is located in one of the nicest spots in Umbria. We could have stayed there much longer in order to experience all the finest places Umbria has to offer. Tsvi

Local limpo, organizado e impecável. Ficamos em 4 pessoas, os sofás cama na sala eram muito bons e confortáveis. Linda casa, lugar muito tranquilo para dormir, e nos sentimos em uma casa de época mesmo. A anfitriã é muito gentil e nos deu excelentes recomendações do local. É bem localizado e fica próximo dos principais locais.

Casa molto accogliente in mezzo al silenzio e alla natura, tenuta con cura e curata nei dettagli.Ideale per chi ama stare in tranquillità e fuori dal caos.Host non incontrata ma tempestiva e gentile nella comunicazione. Consigliata.

Lovely apartment in a quiet little village just a few minutes away from the motorway. We used it as a break between Ravenna and Naples but had we known that it was such a nice place we would have spent two nights here and explored the area.
