Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Fribourg

Thank you Jacqueline for being such an accommodating host. we had the pleasure to stay at your airbnb and had a comfortable stay of 4 days. This place is perfect for a long duration stay as all amenities with full kitchen are available in the place. We had no issues finding anything because of home tour given by Jacqueline. This place is definitely recommended for a short to long stay who are looking to explore swiss beauty. We are grateful of Jacqueline to assist us in giving lift for pick up and drop. A beautifully remodeled home with attractive interior design. Modern appliances and bathrooms. Views of Lake Geneva and the Swiss countryside. Arranged on four stories, so you do get your stair climbing in, but you shouldn't be visiting this part of Switzerland if you can't do a little climbing. Large bedrooms with great beds. We couldn't have been happier there. There is a very narrow driveway leading up to the parking place that requires some careful outmaneuvering if you have a big car. It's no narrower than most of the public streets in the area of the nearby vineyards. We had what in the USA would be called a medium sized SUV and we still emerged scratch free. Claudia and her husband were very friendly and responsive and even had child-safety gates installed and provided lots of toys for our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter! Highly recommended!

Claudia’s home is one of the nicest homes I’ve stayed at. New, clean, huge, and that view!!!! We never wanted to leave and opted for rooftop dinners almost every evening. Truly a beautiful home that our whole extended family could be comfortable in thanks to the separate floors. Claudia was so helpful in explaining how the train works and we loved stepping out the front door to ride into town each day, but escaping to quiet in the evenings. Thank you and we hope to return!

My sister and I spent two super beautiful days with Cyril with our nine children. The accommodation has everything you need, including Spices, salt, dishwashing detergent, etc., was clean and the gallery was very suitable for the kids to stay overnight. We also enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi in the garden with the many garden furniture and play facilities. The kids could be as loud as they wanted and listen to and play music. Cyril is very straightforward. It must be said that the house and the furniture and partly also things in the garden have become outdated. But that didn't bother us.

Living the live and Ncolas’ place! We spent 5 days in this beautiful house that leaves NO wishes open. On top of that, Nicolas is very friendly and always responsive and helpful. We will come back next year!

Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

Very pleasant stay with an amazing view of Jaun and the Gastlosen! The apartment was perfect, an ideal size for a family with a 6 year old

The apartment is perfect, spacious, extremely clean and well-equipped. The location is ideal, an exceptional view of the mountains and literally at the foot of the ski and tobogganing slopes. However, you should know that the rental is managed by the tourist office, the exchanges remain quite impersonal and the response time is long. We arrived at 6 p.m., so outside the opening hours, and the exact entrance to the building was not indicated (only all the buildings are surrounded on the map). So it was impossible to reach someone, and with 3 children including a baby, in the dark and in the snow, it was very complicated. Other than that the experience is great and we will definitely recommend this place!

We stayed at Matthieu's place as a family of 4 (including 2 kids of 7 and 2 years age). The place itself was lovely and clean. It had all amenities as mentioned. View from the garden was simply outstanding, which can't be depicted in words or photographs. It was really nice of Matthieu to greet us personally and give us a tour of his place and provide information about nearby attractions and eating places. Garage car parking was an added bonus We really enjoyed our family vacation at Matthieu's place. Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment in a quaint little neighborhood. Close to the funicular to get up and down the mountain. Great location to the vineyards. It was a tad tricky to find it when we arrived. Got off at the wrong bus stop and then ubered because it was difficult to walk up the main road (no sidewalk at one point). I pictured it being a little closer to the train station, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again because it was so lovely.

A magical place, a sublime studio and a lovely host. This is the explosive cocktail we were treated to for our 30th wedding anniversary. Thank you Nadia for the warm welcome and the attention you gave us during our stay. We look forward to seeing you again.

We had a wonderful stay.

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay - we’re already missing the views! There is lots to see and visit in the surrounding areas and it’s 10 minutes from the motorway if you’re looking to travel further afield. Susanne was a brilliant host, very attentive, extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We would love to come back!

We enjoyed the stay even though the weather was not so consistent. You also felt comfortable with storm and rain, not least because of the cheminee. Very helpful hosts, that was especially evident in the first help with a small fire injury.

We stayed at Patrice's house for an extended weekend (6 adults with 4 children). We all had enough space for retreat and great, large common areas. The generosity of Patrice and his family overwhelmed us very much. So many toys were allowed to be used. For our children it was absolute paradise! The amenities in the kitchen, bathroom and garden were also absolutely fantastic. The pool and garden were a dream. We were able to relax very well and enjoyed the time with Patrice very much. We'd love to come back another time.

Everything was perfect!

We had a blast. As a family of 4, we got there and felt right at home. The kids absolutely loved the place, and so did we. It's so peaceful yet a lot to do around. Amazing to go for walks and is well located to get to Lausanne as well as Montreux/Vevey. Awesome house that was super easy to feel comfortable in, the surroundings are amazing and breath-taking, the host was super friendly and responsive and we just had a blast on our trip. We will definitely be returning again in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The property is very tastefully decorated, offers its own garden with cozy seating and is located just four minutes from the lake and less than five minutes from the highway – perfectly located! The house is fantastically equipped, we didn't lack anything. Already upon arrival, we felt completely comfortable.
