I was transported back in time to my parents' farm in the Vumba and my aunt's house in Mutare. This is truly a gem and I would love to stay again. The cottage has been carefully maintained and has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. The tin pool and outdoor shower were tops next to the magnificent night sky. Quarta sends you detailed instructions on how to find the farm.

We loved our stay in this cosy Karoo cottage. Our dog had the run of a fenced off garden area which was really nice! The cottage is conveniently located in the heart of town, right behind the planetarium. Marita was responsive and friendly. We can't wait to visit again!

A beautiful massive house with all needed to stay warm in the coldest place in SA. We had an unplanned detour on the bikes and the host were concerned and still accepted us checking in only after 10pm with a smile.

Debbie was a great host.that gave clear instructions. She upgraded our stay due to some storms in the area causing a power outage. Linen was soft and very cosy, even with it snowing outside. We had a lovely stay and will be back to explore Loxton properly.
