House holiday rentals in Franklin County

Susan's house is perfect! We spent most of our time sitting on the beautiful porch enjoying the views. There is also a huge floor to ceiling window facing out on the water so if you end up with bad weather, the view from it makes you feel like you are outside (loved the swivel chairs right in front of it). The layout of the house is wonderful. We had a small group but if you have a larger group, you will have lots of privacy. The bedrooms and baths are all spread out in different areas of the house. Each bed/bed bath is very nice so no one will feel "cheated". It's also a good layout if you have someone in your party with mobility issues. My 88 yo mom was with us and she can't do a lot of steps. We gave her one of the first floor masters and she had no problems at all. The neighborhood is super quiet. No parties or noise at night. Being on a point makes you feel like you are the only one on the lake because you have the canals on each side and the lake in front. Highly recommend!

This place was awesome!! The hosts were very responsive and helped with any questions we had! They let us see the dinosaurs which was really cool! We had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here!

My group came from Columbus for a bachelorette weekend! We chose this rental because of the pool, and the pool was great! It wasn't the warmest weekend, but the pool was heated and at the perfect temperature. When we could not get the pool lights to work, Rick stopped by right away to help us out! Before we arrived, I messaged Rick to ask him some questions, and he was very responsive and answered every question we had! The house itself is beautiful! Big enough for our group of 10. Everything that we needed to grill out over the weekend was available in the kitchen and easy to find! The bathrooms were fully stocked with plenty of towels, and the bedrooms were comfy. I would definitely rent this place again for a group weekend away!

Great stay! Ideal for any event or family gathering. Host was attentive, accommodating, easy to contact, and very friendly. Loved our stay here and would definitely recommend!

Super fun rental! Never hurts to spoil yourself with a pool and hot tub combo, definitely worth the extra money if you have it to spend! Wendy has thoughtfully stocked this place with all the comforts of home!!

Our host was extremely communicative and helpful, instructions were clear and the home was exactly as described. Amenities were top-notch--the pool was enjoyed by all and the other outdoor areas were terrific. With our large group, there was plenty of room to gather (as well as smaller spaces for close conversation!) for meals and time together.

Nice clean house that is quite spacious for a family or large group. The three and a half bathrooms are especially generous. My only mark, which is not a critique of the house or owner, is that the street is quite clogged with cars from the neighbors. Apparently they don’t know what the driveways and garages are intended for. Regardless, parking in the driveway here is a bonus. Overall the neighborhood is nice. Plenty of shopping, dining and grocery nearby. If you aren’t from the area, the drivers are horrendous; typical city pretense and aggression so nothing unusual. I will gladly stay here again.

Oh my, where to start? Rick and Amy were so so SO easy to deal with! The check-in info was easy and clear. My 2 adult children and I each had our own room for privacy and beds that were meant for adults to sleep comfortably—no daybed or pullouts! The kitchen had everything for cooking, but we only made coffee since there were so many wonderful restaurants within an easy drive. When we were finally in for the evening, it was wonderful to have such comfortable furniture to lounge in and on as we shared pictures from the day and made plans for the next. Rick checked with us partway through our stay to see if we had questions or any problems. Check out was another breeze, so simple. If my WI daughter and PA son and I have another rendezvous in Columbus, I will immediately check for Rick and Amy’s availability. My kids, who their mother raised to have appreciation for the efforts of others, agree.

Great place to be for a quick weekend with our 3 kids. Close to the Zoo and Legoland and the right amount of space that we needed while we were there. Walking to Kroger (Starbucks order ahead was a nice perk) and walking to Mama Mimi’s for take and bake pizza.

Overall a 5 star rating for what we paid. The house is clean, everything worked just fine. We had more than enough space. The area at first seemed scratchy, but we stayed to ourselves and were just fine. We would stay again.

Romas place was fabulous! It was extremely convenient having toys, books, baby bath, pack and play and children’s dinnerware in the house so I didn’t need to pack all that! House was clean, instructions were clear and the house was updated throughout.. Loved the mud room when you first walk in to leave your coats and shoes etc. K cups in the kitchen so I could make a coffee as soon as we arrived. My toddler loved the bunk beds! They weren’t the most comfortable but she slept just fine. Master bathroom was gorgeous. The street the house is on is a beautiful neighborhood but when we ventured out for pizza the surrounding area seems sketchy -nothing to deter me from staying here again though. If I ever make the trip to Columbus again I’ll def book Romas!

This was the perfect place for me and my friends we had such an amazing time. The hot tub was so nice and we had so much fun with the air hockey table. Place was clean and so cute. Kellie was such a sweetheart.

Nice place to stay. Comfortable and clean.

Very good location next to major roads. Cute decor and all amenities present. Easy access to great Columbus attractions. Only issue was the lack of televisions - only one being in the living room. Definitely not a deal breaker but worth mentioning if you have kids or plan on spending time at the house.

I felt right at home but also on a proper vacation at the Italian Villa! Yummy coffee machine, modern updates and appliances, such a fun and functional feel in the whole space! Perfect for hang outs with friends and family. Plus parking and so many amenities! Will be back!

The circus house was fabulous! It was so cool to stay in a historic home in a beautiful neighborhood! The house was large and well appointed. Stylish!! The hosts and the owners were very friendly. Lots of extra towels and sheets and the kitchen was well appointed. I would suggest the air conditioning to have a thermostat upstairs where the bedrooms are and that at least one of the bedrooms to have a king size bed. I would have appreciated some information on local favorite restaurants and attractions. I plan on staying again when I’m back in town!

This was our 2nd stay here. We love the space and the expansive view of the garden through the large windows is spectacular. And listening to all the wonderful birds in the cluster of the bamboo is a real treat. We will definitely come here again in the future.

Julie was an amazing and communicative host. Her home is so inviting and the beds were a pleasant surprise (most comfortable we’ve experienced in an air b&b). And the yard is amazing! Highly recommend this charming home.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was the perfect place for us. We appreciated how clean the home was, and the private backyard was a bonus!! The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed during our stay!
