Cottage holiday rentals in Francavilla al Mare

Really charming villa, immersed in the greenery of a hill above Gaeta, with breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. An ideal place for those looking for silence and peace of nature just 7 minutes from the village and beautiful beaches. The last stretch of road is quite challenging and requires a safe and loose guide but, once you arrive, everything invites you to stay: the warm and personal decor, the large bright doors and windows (equipped with providential mosquito nets) and the terrace overlooking the view, as well as the beautiful garden. The house does not have wifi and mobile coverage is limited to some areas. From the kitchen, a rather steep staircase is used to climb to the upper floor (which can be circumvented from the outside). Very warm welcome from a friend of the owner, who provided us with total availability, valuable advice and support during the stay, as well as a welcome gift. We had a great time, thank you Iole and Robertangelo!

This was the perfect base for my young family of four- close enough to drive into Ostuni, Cisternino, and all of Puglia's small towns but also in a private location of its own, far away from the tourist crowds. We were able to join the fray but also detach at the end of the day and enjoy quiet afternoons and evenings at Marilla's beautiful place. Maria was very responsive and helped me with little extras that made our stay smoother and more enjoyable. It was like having a local contact, thank you very much!

La dolce vita is what you will find at the "Casetta Segreta". A peaceful and relaxing environment. You will be enchanted by the charm of this region that pushes you to relax and contemplate. A very beautiful address, a responsive host who cares about your well-being and who offers you activities. For us as a family of 4 with not very young children, it was optimal. The balcony offered meals with a super view, and also the pool was perfect for cooling off.

Wonderful place, in the middle of the olive groves, we enjoyed the beautiful view and the nice garden every day, where our dog could roam freely. Absolutely recommended, with the note that the access road is poor and very steep, so you do have to dare to drive a bit.

We had a lovely stay here – the pool is absolutely amazing, our 12-year-old spent most of his time in it! We loved our little house as well – it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Annapaola was a great host, really helpful, and so easy to get in touch with if we had any questions (Domenico was brilliant too!), and very quick to respond. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed a boat trip one day, which Annapaola recommended. The town is great fun at night, and there are supermarkets within 5-10 minutes drive. Staying at Marina'a place was a dream. It was a truly wonderful experience, in which you are tucked away on the hillside surrounded by olive trees and lovely views of the rolling topography and sea. The intention of the landscaping, layout, and amenities of the cottage satisfied every possible need and more, making for a tranquil holiday. Marina is by far the best host we've ever encountered. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. It was a delight to talk with her and learn a bit about her travels and life on the island. Don't miss the opportunity to connect with her!

This is an amazing spot. Lovely. Smells like florals. So incredibly nice. Our host was so kind. A wonderful breakfast and she even drove us to the bus stops etc. we loved staying here!! 10/10 would recommend.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Just what we were searching for, a haven of tranquility. The hosts were delightful, Razu in particular was extremely helpful throughout the entire stay regarding information and supplied us with an array of fantastic meals. We didn't want for anything. There were plenty of things to see and do within a short car journey. I would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Amphora. As most of the other reviews state, it is a truly unique experience. Regarding the one negative review on the website; all I can say is I really don't understand what they found so disagreeable.

We were two families in an apartment, 4 adults and 5 children aged 9-15 years. We had two wonderful weeks at the villa. The villa has an incredibly great view of the sea, and has a swimming pool, ping pong, basketball hoop and more that children could be active with. We arrived late at night, but Rosa was ready to receive us. There was food so we could have both breakfast and lunch the next day. The apartment was well cleaned during the stay and linens were changed. It is helpful with a car to get around as shop is not in a walking condition. We visited various lovely beaches, and were excited about the cozy town of Vasto. We found that people were generally nice and welcoming. We would definitely recommend Villa Osca and the surrounding area to other travelers.

This is a great place. We felt immediately at home. The apartment is very clean with a good bed and we liked the high beautiful sealing. Also wonderful for a stroll around the olive trees. Best wishes,

Beautiful location, peaceful, practically private beach, actually on the beach, difficult access with a car, tap water is not drinkable

House and surroundings were actually nicer than the description: very quiet, beautiful area with stone wall, olive trees etc. Pleasantly quiet. A little cat greeted us every morning for breakfast. City within walking distance - but takes at least 30 minutes.

We were in Vieste for the first time and are totally thrilled. The cottage is really right on the beach. The garden is completely fenced and tidy, which was just great with our dog. We were totally undisturbed. We were a little surprised that the individual rooms were really only accessible individually from the outside and there was no connection (no hallway, living room, etc.). The kitchen was super equipped and Silvana welcomed us in a friendly and flexible manner. In case of difficulties, they took care of it immediately and Giuseppe organized a private boat trip through the sea caves, which was breathtaking! You walk about 2 km into the city, but you have a small supermarket directly diagonally opposite. Due to the campsites next door, there are also beach bars and restaurants within a short walk. We had a great two weeks! Our dog was the most enthusiastic :D

We felt really welcome at Any’s place! She was really helpful in giving tips about the area. We went to Konoba Belin which is a big recommendation and we did a very pretty walking route in the area. We were very happy that we started our trip in Korcula here!

The apartment is in a beautiful and peaceful location, and is easy to find. It’s spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, and the view from the terrace over the lake is just stunning. Antonella and Dario are exceptional hosts, responding to messages and fixing any problems almost instantly. They definitely went above and beyond to make our stay really comfortable.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Trstenik, Croatia. The place was spotless, beautifully authentic, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host was absolutely delightful and very communicative, always available to help. Trstenik and the entire peninsula are truly magical, and I already miss it. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine and unforgettable Croatian experience.

The location is incredible, so beautiful! We were a family of 5, 2 adults a 3 kids (13, 11 & 9) and it was cozy - fine for a couple of days. Being able to have lovely Breakfast nearby was great too. We loved walking around the vineyard and the view was an absolute highlight.

We loved our stay at Mariangela’s cozy cottage! It was a peaceful escape after our busy time in Rome! The Beach and local grocery store were within walking distance. Mariangela was an amazing host, she responded quickly to my questions and even gave us some fresh eggs in the morning 🥰 I would absolutely recommend her place when visiting Italy

Unforgettable experience. The house is beautiful and very well cared for in every detail inside and outside and Elisabetta's passion shines through everywhere. The context in which the house is immersed is wonderful: pool, garden and beautiful and cozy outdoor areas. A word is fully deserved by Martina Franca and its surroundings that have exceeded our high expectations in terms of beauty and hospitality. Last but not least, the welcome of Host Elisabetta that goes beyond professionalism and makes you feel at home. We immediately had the confidence that we had your support at any time we needed it, a reassuring presence and never, even remotely, intrusive. Rare experience!

Very clean, tidy house with great views and attractions in the direction of Palinuro equally beautiful. The area is very quiet, the host was very helpful and welcoming, great experience, highly recommended for those looking for tranquility a few minutes from the sea.

It was a wonderful house, plenty of peace, babbling brook and a wonderful garden with sun loungers and a parasol. The terrace for dinner in the evening was also perfect. Everything you need for a good stay was in the house. There was a nice restaurant 2.5 kilometers away with super friendly service. We were able to let ourselves in, but Efisio still came by to meet us.

You only get there by car. Be wise and take a small rental car, the road is very narrow and steap.
