RnR Homestead with breathtaking views!

RnR Homestead is located right off the Parks Hwy just 24 miles north of Denali National Park. The small town of Healy with restaurants and a grocery store is a ten minute drive south on the highway. The 80-acre property is surrounded by giant spruce and birch trees with amazing views of the Nenana River valley and the outer Alaska Range. It's bordered by state land and the northern section of Denali Park. The first floor has kitchen, bathroom & living space. The upstairs is bedrooms only.

The Fireweed Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Fireweed Cottage is a dry cabin located right outside of Healy. This cabin offer a full sized bed, private outhouse, stove, fridge, grill, fire pit area and great views! Although it being a dry cabin means no running water you will have water for drinking and other needs. Since the cabin is located right outside of Healy it has easy access to the grocery store, gas stations, and restaurants. Enjoy a peaceful stay at this cozy cabin!

The Lodge is a great space for entertaining family or friends with all the amenities of the perfect Alaskan retreat! It is a 2,500 sq ft log home with an open floor concept plan. The main floor is open with a kitchen, dining, and 2 living room areas, including a fireplace and TV. Two bedrooms are on the main floor with a 700 sq ft loft bedroom open to below. Located just outside of Fairbanks, it is a perfect halfway point between Fairbanks & Denali. Nenana Is a cute historic town.

Sleepy town, downtown apartment is a spacious place where you and your spouse/friend can come or 6 people are invited to the party! Cook up a full meal in the kitchen or just microwave and enjoy your comfort food. Rented primarily in the winter, Nenana has some amazing northern lights viewing spots without the big city light pollution. Dog sled tours are also in Nenana. Can potentially fit more people than 6 but ask permission first.

Enjoy staying in our cozy home with lots of natural light and surrounded by nature. Being just out side of Denali we get lots of wild life visitors, including moose, lynx, Alaskan hare, owl, and ermine. Just down the road is a beaver pond and railroad tracks. We are 16 easy miles from the Denali National Park entrance, where there is lots of hiking trails, more wild life, a visitor center to explore, and of course Mt Denali to see.

The Fireweed Roadhouse is a quiet Alaska experience located along an empty stretch of road. The Roadhouse is filled with lots of quirky things, such as maps, posters from decades past, photos and cross-stitch art, things that tell personal stories. The host, Valerie, was especially friendly and kind. Her experience in Alaska’s Interior give her special knowledge about the area and a rich understanding of Alaskan life. Visit her to spend time sharing stories with her and to enjoy the building with its eclectic range of objects. This is the opposite experience from staying in yet another chain motel or hotel. Staying at the Fireweed Roadhouse is personal and unique.

Valerie's place was exactly described and exactly what needed after a day travel. Comfy beds, super clean bathrooms, and Valerie is super friendly. We weren't there but a few short hours overnight, but have a feeling that anything we would have needed would have been tended to.

valerie was such a sweet host! she was responsive even later at night when we needed her help with something, was super friendly, and the space was warm & inviting, comfortable, and clean. would definitely book again!
