Cottage holiday rentals in Foster City

This was our second stay here. Our daughter's family lives in the neighborhood and this is the perfect location for us to stay while visiting. It is quiet, comfortable and just what we need. The yard is very cute and we love to look at the animals with our grandchildren. We lucked out and saw the planets aligned from the driveway on the 25th, as it is dark enough to view the stars without city lights. Don and Lori are great hosts- there are treats and fresh eggs in the fridge, and everything we needed was right there. We will be back.

Bolinas is a special, unique, off-beat slice of heaven. Same with Charle’s cottage. If you love authentic coastal vibes, then do yourself a favor and stay here if you can. It’s the real, real. Well loved and well worn cottage that works like a charm. Hot tub, walk to beach or the Mesa, or town. Little deck to enjoy the ocean view. Ditch the phone and the clock and tap into the rhythms of nature. Thank you for sharing your magical cottage, Chuck! 🙏

Artistic and quirky house. I loved it! You have to duck a lot, but it’s super cool. <5min walk to beach or downtown.

Mara is a great host, charming and thorough.........a great combination for us! Her detailed instructions and "hands-off" thereafter approach was perfect for us. The unit was just the right size for us and had everything we needed for our week plus stay. We hope to visit and stay again in the future as the location is perfect for us.

We loved staying at the Dipsea Cottage. It’s a beautiful, calming, and comfortable space. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, restaurants, playground, and shops. We look forward to coming back here again!

Beautiful house with a spectacular view! Watch the sunset and fall asleep to the gentle sound of the ocean. Incredible hiking / running just out the front door. Kids (aged 10-15) loved the glamping tent! Wonderful hosts did everything possible to make our stay perfect.

It was a really nice stay for me and my two dogs. Extremely nice family, and nice quiet & private place. It was unlike most Airbnb’s in that everything in the interior had a personal touch, it was fully stocked to cook, every possible need, both to cook inside & out. Most AirBnB’s have a bit of an “IKEA” feel, this felt like a true guest house, decorated, quality furniture, extremely clean. The drive in was beautiful, and the unit was great to stay in.

Overall we had a good stay at Susan’s rental. She was very nice and communicative. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Large refrigerator. Regular drip coffee pot. Very close to downtown Mill Valley so you can walk into town easily. There seemed to be a few other renters on this property, and our rental was the very back unit. The walkway down the length of the front house was a bit tight, with 2 gates. It was farther than we expected to load/unload bags. Just a heads up - Parking was a bit tricky because this property is on the main avenue (Blithedale).

Riza and Miguel were literally perfect hosts. They were attentive and proactive even before we checked in. All of their instructions are super clear and they communicated in a very kind and respectful manner. Self check-in was super easy. Parking in the back right next to the location made me feel a bit safer that my car wasn’t on the street. Which made unloading and loading the car so easy. The home was clean and beautiful and looks so much better in person than the pictures. The kitchen was spacious and stocked with all the necessary appliances, and the bedrooms are a good size with super comfortable beds. Any need that came up during the trip, Riza and Miguel responded with promptness. 10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend and would absolutely go stay here again with my dog. The home is located in the heart of Oakland, so it is very centrally located and easy to get around to freeways, etc. But it is in the city so it is important to be hyper aware of your surroundings

Location, Location, Location! Steve’s place was exactly as described. Beautiful view, private, comfy bed, and CLEAN! Our two pups LOVED the fenced yard!! Steve was great with communication and ensured our stay was comfortable. We hope to stay again. Highly recommend.

Gem of a beachhouse, on a quiet street, just a short walk from the beach. Clean, tastefully decorated cabin and loved the peaceful back garden and front patio to enjoy the sun as well.

This sweet little artist cottage was just perfect. Mindy has put a lot of effort and energy in making sure there are so many things available for her guests: Kitchen Staples, along with different kinds of coffee and coffee makers. There were fresh eggs and beautiful chocolates, and so much more which made our stay extra special. The cottage is surrounded by a small yard and lovely trees. There is a dedicated parking spot, which was so nice. Very quiet, clean, and the furnishings are just beautiful. Will definitely book again. Thank you for being an exceptional host!

Second stay, and I would love to stay a third time.

Great location, very walkable to the main area on Grand Ave and Lake Merritt. It’s a small space but had everything I needed as a solo traveler. Jintang has great communication and responds almost immediately to any questions. Everything from booking to check out was extremely easy and straightforward. Great place to stay, would definitely recommend booking with Jintang.

It was an easy and comfortable place to settle into. Great bed, easy to use thermostat, lots of drawers and closet space. It has two nice decks to sit outside but we didn't use them much because the weather was pretty cold. I guess the weather is the only thing we can complain about! We enjoyed coffee and delicious pastries at the little cafe around the corner. And we had a short walk to see our son and grandchildren. A great place for us and we'd like to stay there again.

Jing is a great host. We felt very comfortable and at home staying at this location. The home is in pristine condition and has all amenities. Jing is very flexible, responsive, and kind. The location of the place is also situated close to Stanford and other nearby attractions. We would highly recommend other guests to stay at Jing’s residence.

I literally couldn’t have asked for more. They were so responsive and helpful with anything we may need. I stayed here for a month for surgery and didn’t want to leave when the month was over. The tiny house was clean and exactly what I wanted and needed for my recovery. Close to everything I needed and wanted to get to. All the light and fresh air you can ask for. Recommendations for food and stores. Visits from their amazing dog!! I wouldn’t change a thing! What an amazing host, family, city, and tiny home. I will definitely be back.

Berry Vine Cottage was a cozy place for my son and me. It was very clean, and had every convenience we were hoping for. It was centrally located to all the trails and the town of Point Reyes Station. Would recommend to a friend!

The house was clean and comfortable in an impossible-to-beat location. Plenty of nearby options for food, shopping, and endless oceanside hikes. The kitchen was well stocked for all of your cooking needs. A few basics were missed such as a delay in check in, due to key code not shared, and mysteriously few bottles of hand soap, but nothing we couldn’t work around. We would stay here again!

My husband and I had a great time in Mill Valley. We were amazed at the location of this adorable cottage. It is walking distance to the library and to downtown MV, which had everything we could possibly need/want. Such an incredible community. Our host was helpful when we had questions and answered promptly. The cottage was cute, clean and cozy. Overall we loved our stay and would love to come back again someday!

This was our second long-term stay (each stay being several weeks) at the Sunset Serene Cottage and we will definitely be coming back for more. Consider this as your home away from home. The location and the view cannot be beat. The house is perfect for us as a couple - bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom have everything you need for a relaxing and convenient stay. It’s surrounded by so much nature, and it was wonderful to have a busy day and then come home to this oasis. Neighborhood is also very safe and we took many walks to enjoy the view of the Bay. We thank Albena and Nikolay for promptly responding to our queries and for generously accommodating our special requests. Already planning our next visit! 🌅🏡💕

Another great stay in this amazing cottage in Noe Valley! This is the place to truly relax and have time for yourself in between your busy SF travels! You are in the best neighborhood that is within walking distance to all Noe Valley and the Mission have to offer! Sebastian and his family have made an amazing space!
