We had a great stay in Ålen. The place was a perfect fit for those of us who would be on the slalom, as the house is so to say the slopes. And the host were really really really nice. We would love to come back 😊

Clean and nice home, with role surroundings in cozy neighborhood. Nice exit from the living room to the terrace. 7 min walk to bus to the city center. Recommended.

Stayed at the house during the World Cup in Trondheim. Great location, a little out of the city, but fine with bus and taxi. We had a great time, and a great World Cup!

Really a place to recommend :) Especially if you are a big family like us, the house was big and very spacious. Very good outdoor area for barbecuing and cuddling. Birgitte as a host was great, always helpful and responded quickly to messages.

We were 5 people who wanted to stay well for a week in/byTrondheim. Alternatively, one hotel but we rather chose to stay here. We don't think about it. New great single-family home with everything in order. For a nice price and very nice host. We had a car and used it. If you don't, the bus is close by and walking distance to the colonial shop. Can easily recommend staying here. 😊👌👍

We had an amazing stay at Audun's place! His communication was prompt and friendly, making everything seamless. The condo was spotless, well-stocked, and perfect for our small family reunion, with plenty of space, fast internet, and a well-equipped kitchen. The location is fantastic—stunning views of Trondheim, a quiet family-friendly neighborhood, parks for the kids, and a couple of great restaurants within walking distance. Public transport nearby made getting downtown easy, but free parking with an EV outlet was a nice perk. The modern design, natural light, and thoughtful touches (snack basket, wine, coffee) made it feel like home. Audun went above and beyond, even allowing an early check-in. Highly recommend this gem of an Airbnb—would absolutely stay here again! Oh, and don’t miss the ski jump facility nearby!

Stayed at this beautiful place for a month. Wow, a veranda on 2 sides, 1 of which facing the lake. Windows from the living room give very nice views over the mountains and the lake and the cabin has a huge cozy, warm look. It didn't get dark at night, enjoyed the beautiful skies (rose - purple - orange), the never-sighted couple playing at night in the lake and talking to each other, the ducks, neighbor cat staring at us on a rock and the other cat who liked to walk along, seen several deer - with little ones, and so many birds seen and heard. The fireplace was blissful, kitchen spacious, nice bedroom, blissful sofa to look out. Ingunn is great host. She also helped me a lot with tips for my 2 month trip. And super easily accessible. Thank you Ingunn for everything! I enjoyed it.

Great place, everything very clean and in good condition, very polite hostess, you feel like home, well equipped and for breakfast there is coffee,tea,cereals and cornflakes ready for breakfast,the place is about 8 km from the Atlantic road. Would stay there again anytime.

In one word amazing!! After a long wet ride on the motorcycle, I was very kindly received. They insisted that I join them for dinner. It was Kareen's birthday meal together with Rune and his dear sweet lovely mother. Kareen cooks wonderfully. Also had a sightseeing with Rune. A beautiful experience and people you take with you in your heart on a journey to the North Cape! I wish I could stay longer. I hope to come back with my wife and kids in the future. Thanks for making my trip extra special

We had a great time when we stayed here during the Christmas market in Røros. Everything was super cosy and Lindsay was super helpfull. Also she was caring if we have everything. Nature is beautiful the house. 🙂

We absolutely loved this cabin! It is perfectly located in a beautiful region. The house is very well equipped and has a stunning view. The communication with the owners was perfect. A big recommandation!

We had a wonderful stay for more than a week in the cabin. We didn't expected that the cabin was equipped so well. Drinking water coming from the moutain can be fetched just around 20 meters away. There was a gas stove and a simple kitchen for cooking and when there was good weather we could do BBQ over the open fire. The toilet was as good as expected under the circumstances. The cabin lies at the end of a gravel trail and you need around 10-15 minutes to get there. It is possible but a bit of work to get suitcases to the cabin. Especially the last meters where you have to carry your luggage up a small hill where the cabin is located. The area is fantastic. There are very many fishing lakes around where it is also possible to rent small boats. The license and the boat rentals can be bought over inature (search for "Ørret og røykefiske i Osen kommune" and "båt til leie i Bjørnør statsallmening"). Åse Marie also provided us with firewood, which we had to pay for small money.

We spent New Year in the cabin and went skiing, mostly in Vagnslia. It's obvious that the cabin is used very privately by the host for it feels very snug and is fully equipped for living in but without it feeling like you're clearing into someone's privacy. It's easy to relax enjoy your time off here. The road to and from the cabin quickly feels exciting when there is a snow storm. Would love to come here again.
