A Little Peace of Heaven

TylerRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Well aside from the crazy lady burning her cabin down a few street over the stay was just what my boys and I were after. The hosts were very fast at responding and went above and beyond the first night we were there given the minor issues with the neighbor and water. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Side note screen shot her check in instructions before arriving because cell service isn’t there unless you have wifi.

River's Bend - Your Ultimate River Destination!

Beautiful location on the river and we really enjoyed the hot tub kayaks and the view. The redwood lined driveway was very cool and we were close to the hikes we wanted to do.

The Groundskeeper's Cabin

LauraRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What an amazing house in the Redwoods! From the gourmet kitchen to the three sitting areas outside we wish we had spent a week here! Each room had a door and sitting areas. We used the grill that had provided charcoal to cook a delicious dinner. Our son who is almost three spent time exploring the yard that had some giant trees, a fire pit, bird houses and beautiful raised garden 🌺 along the fence. He loved all the games in the closet provided and the homemade cookies upon our arrival. So clean and everything you would need!! We only wish our pup was with us! A huge fenced yard and a welcoming basket 🧺 for just the pups! We even got to see a bit of a photo shot of a music artist! Bridget was so helpful with where to eat in Brookings Pacific Sushi and it was delicious!! She was very responsive and let us know about the photo shot. We were curious. We hope to be back soon to visit the giants soon! Thank you Bridget for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

Rustic Remote Treehouse @Sustainable Ecovillage

CindyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We enjoyed our two night stay in the treehouse! We were greeted by their two border collies who were very sweet and gentle with my older pup. Dan is super friendly and glad we got to meet our host in the community kitchen area. Everyone else is also friendly and fun to chat with. When you book this spot, do know you’re staying in a treehouse with no electric or circulation, we brought our mini jackery, some mini string lights and wrapped around the tree for evening lighting and kept the screen window open at night to get some air. I would recommend a lantern or headlamps if you don’t have lights. There are bugs so if that bothers you, this is not the place for you. We loved the view from the top and we slept great! We love the village and all the animals that came with it.

This place was stunning, inside and outside. It is in a secluded and safe area. House was super clean, beds were comfortable, showers were so nice. The host was super quick and responsive to messages. We highly recommend this place and hope we can come back sooner rather than later!

River Otter Tiny Home

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The space is exactly as described—cozy, comfortable, and spotless. Everything inside feels fresh and new, making for an enjoyable stay. We especially appreciated the quiet setting and the thoughtful touches throughout the tiny home. Outside, there’s a lovely covered back deck and a picnic table on the grass. It would have been perfect to have a table and chairs under the covered space for those cool, misty evenings, but that’s a minor note in an otherwise excellent experience. Now, let’s talk about the location—it’s unbeatable. Less than five minutes from the breathtaking trails of Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, including a peaceful walk along the Smith River to Stout Grove. After your hike, you can refuel with a bite at the Historic Hiouchi Cafe right across from the campground. The River Otter Tiny Home is located within a charming cluster of tiny homes, with easy access and convenient parking. All in all, a memorable and relaxing stay.
