Holiday rentals with lake access in Forster

Great house, suited our needs. Very well equipped, nothing we needed to add. We were able to utilise the jetty, a boat ramp not far away. Fire pit space was great. Dogs loved it. We did keep them outside, so needed to create a run overnight as the yard is not fenced. Highly recommend. We will be back. Thank you Allan

Such a lovely getaway with the kids. We all loved the pool table, games and most of all the hot tub! The house was lovely, surrounded by nature. All rooms were comfy. I will note no shampoo, conditioner and body wash was supplied so we had to duck out to grab some. Thanks for the stay! We’d happily stay again.

This was such a lovely beach home, the kind you dream of! It was wonderful having views of the water from every corner of the home. Everything in the home was beautiful and thoughtfully furnished. We tried kayaking and fishing and enjoyed it very much. The boys enjoyed playing on the lawn outside and the husband prepared a simple bbq on the patio. The kitchen was also very well equipped. We enjoyed our stay here very much and will definitely be recommending friends over!

How's the serenity? We had a relaxing family holiday and enjoyed the lakeside location, watching the birds in the gums and the mullet jumping at sunset. Annette gave great local advice and we made the most of the kayaks and caught some nice bream from the deck. The warm welcome complete with considerate treats and fresh flowers was the icing on the cake!

Amazing secluded home, great for a large group with plenty of rooms and beds, amazing pool,spa and games room for entertainment, outdoor BBQ and pizza oven for dinner was great. The hosts were very helpful and even gave us the option to cancel last minute due to poor weather which was very kind. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely family getaway at this beautiful home. The space itself is spacious, well-designed, and perfect for spending quality time together—especially with the pool and outdoor area, which have so much potential for relaxing and making memories. Although we encountered a few hiccups during our stay, the host was incredibly responsive and proactive in addressing them, which we really appreciated. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests' experience. With a bit more attention to detail, this property could be a standout holiday home. We’re grateful for the hospitality and would be happy to return in the future. Thank you again for hosting us!

A fabulous weekend at the lake house. The house looked and felt so much more than what you see online. It was a stunning location, private and the property made you feel like you were at home. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Lucy had extra heaters so it was lovely and warm along with the fireplaces. Lucy was responsive in communication and very helpful. The unit was just as described! Beautiful views, clean, and Terry was a breeze to work with. We really appreciated all the extras such as bubbly and chocolate on check in, the coffee maker, and all of the spices that made cooking easy. If we are in Forster we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Terry’s again.

We stayed 2 nights at Tuncurry Lakes Resort on our road trip from Sydney to Brisbane. Our 3 and 6 year olds absolutely loved their stay - highlights were the jumping pillow, pool, and the “horsey swings”. The park was thoughtfully laid out with multiple bbqs between units and enough outdoor seating to accommodate everyone. The location was peaceful yet convenient to groceries, shops etc. Our kids have already asked when we’re holidaying there again! We’d happily recommend Siobhan’s place to anyone looking for a suitable location for a holiday, particularly for families.

We had a great stay at Warwick’s place. Ideal location - both walking distance to the beach and strip of restaurants and cafes. The lounge and dining furniture differs to what is listed in the pictures, however that did not impact our stay.

Annmaree advised us when the unit was available, which was before the check-in time. This was appreciated. The unit was well appointed and very clean, views and sunsets were beautiful. Will stay again.

This was the perfect Airbnb for a family holiday. The location on the river was great for the kids and a short walk to the Main Street for cafes, restaurants and ice-creams. The house had everything we could have needed and the add d board games were a real hit! We couldn’t recommend this stay more!

Cate's place was amazing. We felt at home & were more than comfortable. Cate has created the perfect escape for those seeking a place to sit & relax. You could not ask for better. We loved sitting out on the balcony watching the river. We were lucky enough to see dolphins & some lovely sunsets. Cate's home was very clean and well equipped. Thankyou Cate. This was great! You can definitely see the effort they put into each stay for the guests. From the cleanliness of the space down to the chocolates and wine they leave. We loved it here, was cozy and close to everything. Will definitely stay again!

Sally's cottage was the perfect place for my partner and I to stay for the weekend. It had everything we needed and so much more! The space was spotless and had beautiful details throughout the room. It was clear that a lot of heart and care had gone into the space. It had lovely views over their property to wake up to and plenty of spots to enjoy it. On top of that Sally was a wonderful host! She checked in with us the day before with very clear instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. She also baked us some lovely goodies and had stocked us up with fresh eggs and milk. The perfect host and a perfect stay! We highly recommend Mindaribba Cottage and would love to go back if we are back in the area.

Cliff was very helpful in sending through lots of suggestions of places we could visit during our stay. The accommodation is well maintained and in a very quiet area for a relaxing stay. it is also a reasonably short drive from local beaches and facilities in Forster, the lake is only a short walk down the road, and our dog was comfortable in the fully enclosed back yard. We enjoyed our time staying here.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront property! The views were absolutely stunning – waking up to the calm water just outside our window was magical, as was the serene sunset. It was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing two-night stay, including a cheese platter provided. It was the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy nature, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene getaway right on the water!

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at sea eagle point. Great location - calm, relaxing and lot of area for boys and girls to run around.

What a gem! Our stay at this stunning cottage was faultless. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, great communication, very accommodating, and gave us excellent local tips (Toronto Hotel for dinner and Mizumi for takeaway were both great). We were spoilt with a welcome gift of wine and chocolate Easter bunnies and eggs, such a lovely touch. The cottage was spotless, beds were super comfy with beautiful linen, and the big fluffy towels, bathroom amenities made it feel like a luxury hotel. All the extras were thought of, oils and seasonings for cooking, even washing capsules and stain remover, a lifesaver when traveling with kids! We fished off the jetty daily (caught a Bream, Flathead, Octopus, Crab, Whiting), used the kayaks, and relaxed in the cosy TV room. We enjoyed the fire pit one night too, with wood provided. The cottage is even better than the photos. 100% recommend and hope to return soon!

Went away for a few nights with some friends and the accommodation was absolutely beautiful, clean and well furnished! There were plenty of books, games, outdoor furniture, BBQ, and kitchen amenities which made the trip very easy and fun. The location was so peaceful and quiet and the drives to the beaches were really pretty views of the lake passing lots of beautiful farmland. Luisa was an amazing host giving lots of local recommendations and giving very easy instructions for check in and check out. Would definitely recommend and will be 100% going back!

A beautiful, peaceful location. A very cute little house, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Has everything you need. Sitting on the deck having breakfast looking at the bay, was just magical. Surrounded by gum trees, casuarinas and paperbarks with lots of rainbow lorikeets and kookaburras, even black cockatoos! Highly recommend!
