I enjoyed my stay here would recommend going here for peaceful stargazing and relaxing. The cabin is very cozy although it can get cold during winter it’s very ajustable with the radiator and the water runs warm and cold. The only few minor issues I had was the lack of salt and pepper at the cabin and the WiFi connection being a little slow but that is expected when staying at a cabin. Anyways I highly recommend checking in if you want some time off from any stress related work, etc.

Perfect for family getaway Very clean and well stocked. Beautiful lake with plenty of privacy but only few minutes from groceries and restaurants. Wonderful seeing all the wildlife; loons, bald eagles, turkey and deer. Screened in porch and sun room were perfect to take in the lake scenery with a morning coffee. Kayaks, paddle boat and row boat all in great shape and easy to use. Cell service is spotty but wifi is excellent. Host is nice and easy to contact.

Great communication and when we needed to have our dog accompany us after we made our initial reservation, they were very helpful and accommodating. We had a great time and would stay there again.

The rules and fees felt like a bit much, but we did the best we could to abide by everything and leave the place spotless

I booked this cabin for a much needed weekend get away for me and my family and it exceeded expectations. Upon arrival we were blown away by the beauty of the property and we felt right at home from the get-go. The party consisted of 6 adults and 4 kids and there were so many activities to keep busy the 3 days we stayed. We enjoyed the pontoon boat, kayaks, canoes, and the area off the dock was great for swimming. The cabin is well stocked with everything needed to make delicious meals every day. Brooke is very quick to respond to any questions you might have during your stay. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be returning!

The cabin was very updated and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. They’re was plenty of space for our large family. We had a beautiful weekend, thank you .

Great place to stay highly recommend.

A perfect location for our ski race weekend at Ski Brule. We loved being able to walk right across the street to the hill. We also enjoyed the fireplace after skiing and it was wonderful having a kitchen to cook our own meals. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed for a weekend during an ice fishing tournament. The place was very spacious - more than we were expecting which was awesome. It was super spacious yet cozy feeling. There’s a fireplace to use if desired otherwise a normal furnace/thermostat was available. The kitchen was very modern and up to date. There’s one bathroom and it is well kept up. Shower temperature had hot water for us and felt comfortable to use as it was clean and tidy. Super easy instructions to gain access and enter the residence. Ryan was also very responsive. We’re hoping to be able to use this place each year for the ice fishing tournament! Maybe sometime in the summer too. But we come up every year for the ice fishing and we are super happy to know this place is listed now for us to hopefully book each year. We were all super satisfied. Definitely was above our expectations.

Beautiful lake house with a phenomenal view of the sunrise. Host was very accommodating. The showers and tub were amazing.

Just as described. A bit nosy during the day but that’s to be expected on a highway. But the town is cute, things in all directions and the place worked well for us, and a plus that they accepted dogs. It give us adults time to get away. Will for sure be back

My Fiencee and I are happy we came here for our anniversary weekend. super cozy romantic getaway. If you like nature this is perfect. 10/10

Mary Jo’s Cabin is a fantastic place to stay, right on the lake with great fishing.

A wonderful retreat at a small resort on peaceful and expansive lake Pickerel. The cabin is more than adequate for a small family, with the real value in being mere steps from the lake and your personal dock and fire pit. Hosts are very welcoming and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our visit. Overall very happy with our experience and would love to be back soon.
