Hidden gem near the Canmore and Banff area. Very nice couple that helped us out when we had trouble with our previous hotel. They welcomed us, cooked us a great breakfast and gave us hiking/restaurant recommendations. It was one of our favorite days out of our trip and we cant wait to come back!

Edgewood Bed & Breakfast - Juniper Room

We enjoyed our overnight stay. We stayed in the Juniper Room. It was quite, clean, and private. We loved the spacious room with an en suite bathroom complete with large jetted tub. Lynn was very welcoming. She was very accommodating with food allergies we came with and served us a delicious breakfast.

It is located in SW Calgary, close to the beautiful Fish Creek provincial park, Kananaskis country, ring road, and all kinds of stores. Easy access to Trans Canada Hw. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Children of 6 yo and above are welcome. Unfortunately I can't accommodate babies and infants. I don't have cribs, diaper table, potty, special mattresses, and other things for them.

Lynn and Daryl were excellent hosts! It was a very peaceful location, and they even offered to host a little 4th of July BBQ for a us wayward Americans. Breakfasts were great (rhubarb muffins and crumble were the best)! Lynn had some good advice for local eateries and hiking venues. The space was perfect for our purposes, and we hope to come back soon with more of the family. You are close the eastern edge of Kananaskis county so access to hikes and climbs is as close as 15 min away to the west, but are only about 35 min from Calgary is you want to get to the city. We had to leave early in the morning on our departure and Lynn made us a nice to go breakfast sandwich which was much appreciated! Definitely hope to be back!
