Family-friendly holiday rentals in Fontrieu

We had a great stay in this very nice house, located in the middle of nature—very calm and peaceful. The check-in was easy with a concierge system from the owner (they also manage other houses in the area). The house is big and comfortable, with a large kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decoration is like a small museum, full of beautiful objects from local shops and galleries, mixed with modern comfort. Beds are large and very comfortable. Everything is provided: bed linen, towels, and even bathrobes. The amenities are excellent: hot tub with jets, outdoor jacuzzi, heated pool, and gas barbecue. The owners answered very quickly when we had questions.

We had a pleasant stay in this accommodation as well as with our two dogs, located in a quiet area off the street, ideal for total disconnection! (In any case the wifi/network are of the same opinion😉). Very well-equipped accommodation whether in the kitchen (it feels like home, nothing is missing!) or in the other rooms too! The jacuzzi and heated pool are a real plus that allowed us to enjoy it throughout the stay despite the sometimes capricious weather! In addition, the hosts are very friendly, welcoming and responsive when needed! In short, if you are visiting the area or want to discover it for a longer period, this is a good place! Looking forward to it 😉

We had a very nice stay. The view from the apartment was even better than on the pictures, the hot tub was a nice extra, the hosts were very friendly and being able to get breakfast in the morning was a good benefit. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely recommend Fred's place for longer stays.

The home was beautiful and in a great central location. Owners were friendly and helpful, and parking was easy. Would recommend!

Very nice cottage, spacious and very well equipped. The environment is quiet, and the view from the infinity pool is simply magnificent! If, like us, you are looking for a place for a seminar of about fifteen people, I highly recommend it!

We had a great family stay in this charming cottage for the weekend of the ascension. It is an old stone forge (which keeps the freshness) with beautiful wooden doors, beautiful furniture, a superb staircase... everything has remained authentic, with a lot of taste. There were seven adults and two babies, and frankly, everything was very well thought out so that everyone felt comfortable. It has everything you need, nothing is missing. Great bedding. Communication with Eustacia was great! The small garden is lovely and peaceful, the pool was really nice, and the setting… magical. The view, the calm, the village (and this restaurant a minute's walk away, so convenient!), everything was perfect. We felt great from the start. We recommend it without a second thought!

Very pleasant place; although the outdoor spaces are shared, we really had the tranquility we were looking for. The hosts are very friendly, the welcome is pleasant and they are always ready to be contacted if needed. Very good stay!

A real favorite! A huge thank you to Guy and Arlette for their warm welcome and great kindness. We had a perfect stay, in a setting as atypical as it is idyllic, with a breathtaking view of the Viaduct. If you enjoy nature and calm, this place is for you. Everything was thought out in every detail. We leave with hearts filled with wonderful memories.

Welcoming and pleasant accommodation. The welcome is remarkable in every way. The hosts are available to take us shopping with their vehicle because we were on bikes. We also took advantage of the pool offered by our hosts. We had a great stay and we particularly recommend this place.

Great little apartment, very convenient location right by steps up to the old town. You can see the old city from the attractive back terrace. Well equipped. Easy check in and check out. Would happily stay here again. For guests using the sofabed please note no proper door between the bedroom and the living room.

Elisabeth is a very welcoming host, the accommodation is spacious. Unfortunately, we only stayed there for one night because we were passing through by bike.

House is very inviting, pleasant and functional. The decoration is sober and warm. The furniture is comfortable. You feel completely at home. The setting is extraordinary to rest around a welcoming fireplace area. The terrace, despite the season, is perfect for "brunch" when the sun comes up. A beautiful place to recharge your batteries for families or groups of friends. To summarize, a lovely home in the middle of an exceptional setting. Thanks again.

We had a very good stay at Cedric's, the house is very well located in the middle of the olive trees, the pool is great! We went with an 8-month-old baby and coming from Belgium we were able to borrow a bathtub, a high chair and a travel cot which prevented us from cluttering an already well-loaded car. A big ☺️ thank you to him☺️. We were also very well received the first day with clear explanations and good plans to visit and eat around...

We had a fantastic trip, Marie-Cecile & Leonce are the most welcoming and helpful hosts. The apartment is well perfectly situated between the castle and the centre of town with a beautiful garden and close to the river. Couldn't recommend this more.

LaRouyère is so idyllic it almost felt like a movie set — minus the boom mics and drama. The garden and pool were our private retreat; we dedicated two afternoons to pure laziness: sun, breeze, and zero responsibilities. The home is beautifully renovated (it includes a former wine cave!) and feels like the kind of place you'd happily get stranded. I cooked several meals in the well-equipped kitchen, we slept like the dead in the blissfully quiet bedroom, and the bathroom surprised us both — showers are usually utilitarian for me, but this one was hard to leave, and my husband was equally smitten with the tub. Stuart shared great tips, including the St. Chinian market, where I found heirloom tomatoes and carrots I’m still thinking about. Both hosts were generous, friendly, and struck that great balance of available-but-not-hovering. We left feeling rejuvenated — and already looking forward to a return.

Gregory's villa is really great. We were able to enjoy a long, quiet weekend. The villa is also very well located and we discovered Narbonne and the surrounding villages with stars in our eyes! Gregory made himself very available, which was very nice. He's a really welcoming host. Thank you so much!
