Holiday rentals in Fontanales

We had a lovely week staying in the Cave of the Cat. Once we got there, it was very peaceful, the view was amazing, and Juan Carlos very friendly and helpful. We recommend that someone in couple who rents be a very good driver as the property is down a very steep road and up a driveway. In general, the roads on that part of Gran Canaria require a solid driver, but the natural beauty and peace are worth the effort. There are local restaurants and shops nearby. One of the best parts of this part of the island is very few people who aren't residents, so you really get to experience the community. We ate at home all of the nights as it was a lovely spot and the kitchen was very accessible. A very nice location for a real getaway.

We had a wonderful stay in Teror! Gaucimara is a very nice and helpful host – she personally welcomed us and even guided us to the private parking lot. The apartment is stylishly furnished, very clean and ideal for us as a family with two small children. The sofa bed can accommodate 1–2 people, a crib is also available. The terrace with the view is simply fantastic! The center is a 10-minute walk. We can also particularly recommend a hike through the Barranco del Álamo. We would come back anytime – thank you so much!

We had a wonderful holiday in this rustic house in the green valley! The location was idyllic, with no neighbors nearby, which provided absolute tranquility. In the morning we were woken up by the singing of the birds, and the clean and loving decor of the house invited us to relax. The owner was very nice and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. We loved it, and we were all able to relax perfectly. We really enjoyed our stay at Rafael’s ! The house is spacious and spotless, with everything you need. The location is peaceful up in the mountain and the view amazing. We would like to thank the owner of the finca and his family for their warm welcome and hospitality. After a lovely little chat, they gave us fresh oranges from the garden. We would happily come again.

I had a wonderful time (10 days) in this beautifully furnished house on Gran Canaria. It’s not only tastefully decorated and fully equipped, but also incredibly cozy – you feel right at home from the first moment. The location is perfect: peaceful, with stunning views, and the ideal starting point for hikes in the area. Whether enjoying morning coffee on the terrace or watching the sunset in the evening – the atmosphere is simply unique. Everything was spotless and perfectly organized. The only minor downside was occasional dog barking in the neighborhood, but it didn’t spoil our overall experience. We’ll definitely be back – highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable stay in the charming village of Teror, a gem nestled in the mountains of Las Palmas. The region is absolutely beautiful—calm, clean, and full of authenticity. The air is fresh and pure, and the village offers excellent traditional restaurants with top-quality local food. I truly fell in love with this place! Salva’s house was perfect for our getaway. Cozy and well-equipped, it had everything we needed to cook delicious family meals. We especially loved the beautiful terrace with its breathtaking view of the mountains—it was the perfect spot for our barbecue evenings. Salva is a wonderful host—kind, welcoming, and always ready with helpful tips and local recommendations. A special touch that made our stay even more memorable was when he generously shared avocados from his garden and two bottles of the local sparkling water, Agua de Teror—a unique taste of the region we truly appreciated. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the village center.

A little corner of paradise that invites you to rest and relax. Yasmina is always available when needed. The accommodation matches the photos exactly and is very welcoming. The exterior is superb with a sunny terrace all day and a small pool to cool off. The environment is peaceful but as already mentioned in other comments, a car is necessary. I'll be happy to come back! Small piece of information, if you're sensitive to it, there are no blackout curtains but only thin curtains.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Fatima’s beautiful home. The location is absolutely incredible, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. The venue itself is charming, spacious, and ideal for families. Fatima and her husband were incredibly warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home—gifting us fresh eggs and fruit from their farm, and even baking a delicious cake for us on Sunday. This is one of those special places you’ll always remember. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene, family-friendly stay with views!!
