This was a great place to stay with plenty of room for our larger family to attend a graduation ceremony. We were hardly there, so we didn't get to enjoy the game room space or the beautiful outdoor area.

I booked Southern Charm for my extended family to stay during the weekend of my son's wedding at Lazy S Ranch. Cecelia thought of everything that we might need to make our stay comfortable. There was plenty of space for the family to sit together and visit, but also to find a quiet space. I loved sitting on the back porch with my favorite book, listening to the birds. Southern Charm is only an 8 minute drive from the Lazy S Ranch, and there's a local grocery store in between to get last minute supplies. I highly reccommend you book a stay for you and your family!

Wendy was one of the best hosts I’ve ever interacted with on Airbnb. She was so friendly, helpful and felt like she was a family friend the way she wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She even offered to have a little campfire lit so we could make s’mores with the kit they have supplied. The house also had literally everything we could have possibly needed. It was so nice to feel like I was home in the fully supplied, welcoming kitchen, comfortable, cozy bedrooms and bathrooms with everything you could need and more. Wendy was also so easy to get in touch with. We had some flight delays coming in and ended up checking in around 11pm but Wendy made sure we got in ok and was responding to messages even late at night to make sure we were ok and comfortable. The best experience. I can’t recommend Wendy and chicory cottage enough. Thank you thank you!

We had a great weekend at the cabin. It was so peaceful and remote, perfect place to get away from it all and unplug. We liked to sit on the big porch and listen to the birds and enjoy the view. We were also able to go fishing in the river and the path was clear of limbs and grass cut. The incline/decline to the river is steep/would be difficult for those with mobility issues but the steps imbedded in the hill were helpful! The cabin was beautiful and clean! Brian has been super responsive and a great host. We got grocery staples at the food lion in Goochland and ventured to elk island winery, licking hole brewery and southern revere brewery which id recommend as well! I definitely excited to return in the future and try out Brian’s other properties!

Perfect place to stay for a weekend away and a wedding venue close by!

This place is a hidden gem in Troy VA, it gives peace to stay away from city life. Place is clean and sufficient for 4-5 families with kids. Walmart and other restaurants are close by. There are some domestic animals like goat outside the boundary, kids enjoyed feeding them. We really enjoyed our stay.

Jeff was responsive and helpful at every turn. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable for our family of five and the bedding and furnishings were all very nice. The location was perfectly situated for us to easily reach all of our wedding weekend destinations in Charlottesville and surrounding vineyards. We loved the pastoral views from the kitchen and bedrooms and, as beginner birders, we appreciated the visits from a variety of birds while we savored our morning coffee. The hummingbirds, especially, offered a small thrill with each appearance at the feeder. Jeff generously provided a fridge full of beverages and other welcome foods and condiments which, as long-time vacation home renters, we found quite usual and helpful. We really enjoyed our time there.

Irene is amazing and so is her home on Lake Anna! Great space with privacy and access to lake and amenities. Irene went above and beyond - even coming to pick us up from dinner when our Uber cancelled on us. Such a great experience and highly recommended staying here!

We loved Bianca’s place, she is so sweet and considerate of her guests! I would definitely recommend & stay again when in Charlottesville! The property & stay was amazing!

Colleen’s place was comfortable and cozy. Let her know our ETA - she was outside when we arrived. She is friendly, kind and gave us some recommendations of things to do. She also has a book filled with menus, etc. Her place was extremely clean! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need for cooking, baking, cocktails! She had snacks and water. Items like coffee, spices, cooking oil were in the cupboard. There were extra toothbrushes, razors, extra towels, tissues, noisemakers, night light! So many extra touches! We only stayed one night, but it was a great experience! We would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you Colleen and Richard!

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn and would come back again in a heartbeat! Dawn and Damond were friendly, approachable, and provided all kinds of local recommendations during our visit. Their apartment was spotless, light, and equipped with just about everything one could need. We'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, especially small families with children. Michelle's home is spectacular. The setting up against the Blue Ridge can't be beat. I loved the pool and watching the goats frolic. The apartment is just right for a couple or a single person and has absolutely everything you could need, plus it is immaculate. I so loved everything about the apartment that I plan to return next year.

Great location close to the arena. Much better than having to drive home 2 hours at midnight. Saw deer and a chipmunk in the yard so that was cool. Nice quiet neighborhood.

The place was very clean and well decorated. It is the perfect size for a couple, with lots to do in the area. We stayed here to visit multiple wineries- the location of this Airbnb is perfect for those traveling here for the same purpose, with tons of wineries surrounding the apartment (anywhere from a 5-20 minute drive). The hosts are very, friendly, hospitable, and quick to respond. We will be coming here again soon!

Perfect spot for people who plan on bringing their personal boat to Lake Anna. Condo was clean and had all the amenities including prime proximity to the marina, locally owned restaurants and shopping. Would book again in a heartbeat. Had a great time!

Absolutely perfect! I can't say enough about the condo and the host!! The condo was roomy, extremely clean, and had everything we needed and more. Sam went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything we were looking for! We are already looking at reserving our next stay!
