This place was wonderful! One of the best AirBnBs I have stayed in anywhere in the world! We didn’t want to leave and very much want to come back.

It was a wonderful trip. We love Norway and used the house as a home base to follow a lot of different activities. We went hiking, site exploring, to the museum, saw historic places and were even invited for a boat trip with the owners (thank you again, it was very pleasant). Norway introduced a new law a couple of years ago that without a boat license you can only sail boats under 10bhp. The one at the house is a 70bhp boat so we couldn't rent it. A shame but not essential to us. The house itself was beautifully seated a bit above the water but you could still throw a stone into the sea of you liked. The whirlpool gets warm and cozy and we enjoyed the warm water after a long day of walking. The upstairs bedroom can only be accessed by a narrow and open ladder/stairwell but downstairs was more than plenty room for us. The owners were very responsive and helpful, the contact a pleasure. We have enjoyed the accommodation quite a bit and hope to return in one of the future summers.

Kjetil was quick in the response and we were very lucky that it was actually available during the time we needed it on a day's notice.

For those of us who brought adult children and small grandchildren, this was a great place that we are happy to recommend. Nice location and great cabin with a nice common area with the sea. Absolutely excellent and when we also got nice southern weather, this was a lovely holiday week in the Farsund area.

Very hospitable and helpful landlords with personal check-in, uncomplicated communication, super comfortable bed and beautiful sun deck.

We a family of 4 arrived at Magnar's cabin for one night and stayed for two. We did not get a chance to meet Magnar but he was available all the time and very nice. We found the cabin very easy. It was clean very quite and very well equiped. We even made our own bread and pizza ! The view, Oh the view... Magnifisent. Be aware there are no linnens or towels as it is the standard in cabins across Norway. Toilete has no flush water but we found it no problem at all !!! All in all it was great! Thanks Magnar!

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Hilary’s cabin. The weather wasn’t great, but it felt cozy to stay inside. Very enjoyable hot tub experience in a secluded area with stunning views. The kitchen has everything you may need which is helpful especially since the grocery store is a bit far away. If you’re looking for a truly peaceful getaway, this one’s for you!

Thank you for these good, relaxing days. The location of the house is very good - located right on the lake with a beautiful view. The landlady Dorris is very helpful and proactively supported us on arrival and departure. The house is significantly more spacious than shown in the photos.

Hi. My family and I had a fantastic lovely trip to Kjetil's cabin. Everything was perfect. Our kids enjoy themselves and our little dogs had a really good time there. Fantastic good beds and duvet , would like the same at home. There is nothing missing. We made friends over and they were also very impressed with the place. We would so like to come back to Kjetil's cabin. Thank you Kjetil you are a good Bert. 🤩🤩

Perfect spacious and cozy house by the coast. It has games, a foosball table and a nice sized TV. Great deal and great place to stay!

Great place with a lovely view, nicely decorated and with a large outdoor area. Was a bit difficult to find, but easy to connect with the host for help. Very nice communication.

Tina's great house is well located for beautiful trips in the area (Lista Fyr, Skrelia, Loshavn). Terrace with beautiful views over the Åptafjord. The house is perfectly furnished and very spacious. We will be happy to come back! Thank you for the wonderful time.

Great place to stay with young kids! Anette gave us few good recommendations and the house has everything to keep young kids entertained. Beautiful surroundings and hiking trials in the neighborhood.

I have already been to various countries in air bnb's and have to say that Karin's Hytte was perhaps the most special and great accommodation. Where should I start? The cottage is at least as beautiful and large as in the photos. The furnishings & the existing equipment are amazing - there is nothing important that is not in Karin's Hytte! Here I have to underline that the free products (flour, spices, etc.) also exceed everything I have seen on air bnb so far. Really, really great!! And then there is the amazing outdoor area and the view... this is 100x more awesome than in the photos! We will never forget the view of the valley and the fjord - it was absolutely amazing. Karin is also always available and responds quickly and helpfully to all questions. We are at a loss for words to describe our week in Åpta. You are very much on your own in the area, you have to want that. But you can't live more beautifully! 10/10 ❤️

We had a very nice time in Renates Cottage. Everything was perfect, especially the nature.

I stayed with my family at Frank Gunnar's beautiful cottage. The view is even more beautiful than in the photos, the terrace is huge. The house is beautiful and functional, through the large window front you can also see the sea. The bathroom was not so clean, but Frank Gunnar responded immediately and waived us the cleaning fee. Had a great vacation!

Good and quick communication, nice space

A great house with a stunning location. We felt very comfortable. The large boat was great, comfortably motorized with 50hp. Raymond marked us good fishing spots on a sea map - top service! I had my kayak morning great use via the floating dock and explore the great surroundings - top 😊 kitchen super equipped, beds good, kitchen very well equipped. Great terrace, plenty of toys for indoors and outdoors for children available. Great hiking area just 5 minutes away. Very little going on in Farsund during our travel season.

We spent two wonderful weeks in Thore's house. The wonderful location, the very good equipment of the house, the magnificent view of the fjord made the days go by far too quickly. The house and surroundings are even nicer than the photos! The house is really equipped with everything you could think of, we didn't miss anything. And with the large panoramic window in the living room, a rain front is also appealing. We have fulfilled days of boating, hiking, fishing. Mushrooms, bathe, etc., spent. Thore's place is really highly recommended.

The cottage is large and very comfortable and well-equipped! We had a problem to go up the way but Leila came right away and everything worked out. Leila is very welcoming. Recommended!

A fantastic place with a beautiful view. If you need to really relax,🤩 I was there with a girlfriend and our children, nice playroom and good space for 9 people. I personally loved the terrace and the beautiful view. Recommended. 🤩 The host is also super nice and responds very quickly!
