Boat holiday rentals in Flanders

Maarten was a lovely host. The living accommodation was exactly as described and shown in the pictures and surprisingly spacious even for my giant husband. It was a short flat easy walk to the historic centre even with little legs in tow. breakfast was yummy with a special treat for my son who was very pleased that Maarten bought him a doughnut. communication was prompt and in perfect English

Very good night on the boat. Great location, clean cabin and bedding, good communication with Jan. Small problem with lead related to the oven so limited use of electricity (as mentioned). I would recommend it 100%, thank you Jan:)

We spent three nights at four in the cabin of the captain of the houseboat Lucie. This is an experience! A cocoon where it's good to get warm after visiting the Christmas markets of Ghent and Bruges (quickly served by the highway). We enjoyed making breakfast and dinner as the kitchen is very well equipped. The rooms are narrow but that's normal, we're on a boat! In the morning the view of the canal is very pleasant with the sunrise over the water and the frozen grass! The bedding is very comfortable and the shower room functional. We all enjoyed this experience, especially since the hosts are very welcoming and present on the boat. We recommend this accommodation to people who love the unusual with comfort!

Maarten sent excellent directions and instructions, and was professional and friendly throughout our entire stay. Breakfast was plenty and delivered timely each morning - the coffee machine and coffee pods along with crockery and cutlery needed were great. We enjoyed each breakfast relaxing on the peaceful and private deck. The round bed was so comfortable and the bedroom felt cosy and just perfect for our 3-night stay, with a perfectly compact and useful bathroom. A quirky and unique place to stay within walking distance of Ghent town centre. Maarten’s boat and his hospitality is highly recommended.

In addition to being a passionate person with lots of interesting life stories, he is very welcoming, friendly and cares about the well-being of his guests. It is a very nice decorated ship with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. We liked it and the location is also good.

Atypical and fun accommodation for adults and children with great value for money. Thibaut is a super friendly, cool and welcoming host. A perfect stay for our small family of adventurers. 🤠👌👍⛵️🤩

The host is amazing, very helpful and supportive. Offering not only pick up from nearby train station but also drop-off. The dock is very quiet and calm. There are also 2 great local restaurants nearby.

We had a brilliant time on Sam's boat! it was such fun way to experience Belgium. Sam was super attentive and friendly and helpful which made our stay very smooth. And we absolutely loved the electric bikes - they were such a great way to see Ghent and surrounding areas.
