Beachfront holiday rentals in Flacq District

We have just returned to the UK after a 14 day vacation in the villa. We had a fantastic holiday the villa is beautiful inside and out. Perhaps our favourite area was the veranda. Its wraps around the villa and has many different seating areas. We spent most evenings out there. Garry is an amazing host he met us at the villa and showed us around also providing great information about Mauritius eating out beaches etc. He kindly allowed us to check out a little later. We ate out at Le Meridian and Revive several times they are local and within walking distance. Friendly staff and excellent food. La Voglia Matto Pizza eat in or takeaway is worth a visit. We were two in the house for 14 days and enjoyed the stay very much. We liked the house itself, the huge great garden, the large pool, the location with a view of the sunset every evening, especially the warm contact with Andy and his family. They always responded immediately when we had questions and everything was answered promptly and solutions were found. It should also be mentioned that the house is equipped with a mosquito net and can be ventilated at any time. The rental car will find a parking space directly in front of the house. There are both Euro plugs available in addition to the usual UK sockets, so adapters are not necessarily needed, but Andy would have had them for us. Besley, who takes care of the house, pool and garden, and lives next door, was also always helpful. So for us everything was great and we can highly recommend the house and thank everyone involved for the beautiful time in Mauritius. Andrea and Rudolf

A nice and big studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, if you want to go to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a little louder. Earplugs can help. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

Great place- everything we were looking for!

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

We had a very pleasant stay at Belle Haven ! We took full use of the two of the three balconies for breakfast and dinner or just to relax. The penthouse was very nice with some stunning views on the sunset. The equipment and facilities were just as described. Parking is really easy on front of the building woth lots of free spaces. The communication was just exemplary and always on point. Thank you ! We will recommend this place or possibly come back.

The place is huge and spacious. They have cleaner that clean the house every day. Host is easy to communicate and very responsive. Highly recommended

Peter's guest house is wonderful! We stayed over new years and had a wonderful time. The house is big and spacious. We loved the open air feel and the pool! Having AC in the bedrooms was also really nice. We would stay again!

Very spacious, modern, beautiful sea view.

We had a fantastic stay at Nanou’s modern villa. The place is truly special—a beautiful home in a breathtaking location, with direct access to a nearly deserted beach that felt like our own private paradise. The ocean views from the pool and terrace are absolutely stunning, and the garden is a delight to relax in. It’s clear that Nanou has thoughtfully designed the villa with guests in mind. Everything is well equipped—from the kitchen and BBQ to the fishing gear. Our boys especially loved using the bodyboards and swim fins. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Mauritius!

Lovely house, spacious and airy. Comfortable beds. Well positioned between the sea and the pool with a breeze keeping the temperature perfect the whole time (I guess this may vary at different times but we great for us). Cook (Dorine) and cleaner were attentive and kept the place clean and use fed well. Sophie was available and responsive before and during our stay with advice and suggestions as needed. Highly recommend for a relaxing, quiet and comfortable holiday.

We had a great stay at Nicolas's house where there is an authentic atmosphere with a set of wooden furniture. Our arrival being a Sunday, he organized a meal for us as well as some staples for our first night. He welcomed us warmly and introduced us to all the services of the house. This one is a short walk from a beautiful sandy beach. The pool with buoy was much appreciated until late at night . Another service offered, Jacqueline's local meals, we highly recommend it. They are very good. The kitchen equipment is also very complete for cooking No inconvenience identified, everything was perfect for us(family with children)

The house is very nice, just like the pictures. Everything is great. The beach is beautiful with fine white sand and turquoise water and practically private. There's a paddle boat and a net to play volleyball. Communication with the owner is very good.

The apartment was beautiful, clean and functional. The views are incredible, even better than the photos. We liked the end of our stay in Mauritius and we even regretted not having booked the apartment for the entire duration of the trip. The only downside: the pool, which was not very clean.

This was just amazing stay with most beautiful location we saw on Mauritius. The house is situated in quiet neighborhood of houses just few steps from sandy beach, which seems not to be crowded even though there are hotels near by. Fadil was very friendly and helpful - he immediately solved the problems we had. Truth is that those could have been already refurbished, as well as some little things in house which was visibly used (outdoor chair, outdoor clothes dryer, outdoor shower, only cold water in washing machine), this is the only thing we were disappointed about. Anyways this place was worth the money, we would definitelly book it again.

Very pleasant stay. Location of the house is perfect. The beach is quiet and the house is well ventilated. The two varangues allow you to enjoy the air on the beach side, or to shelter from the wind when it blows a lot. The kitchen is very well equipped. We briefly met Yolanda, who was taking a few days of vacation right after we arrived, but she was replaced by Sandra who took care of the house and prepared a good Mauritian meal for us.

One of the best BnBs we have stayed till today. First and foremost very cordial hosts. Ryads dad was patient as we were slightly delayed from our normal check in time promised. It was late for him but he ensured he patiently explained all the facilities and gave a house tour. Icing on the cake he had stocked basic necessities like water , milk, bread coffee etc . The kitchen was fully loaded with all appliances and the house on two levels was a few meters from the beach. Two bedrooms with comfortable beds and aircon. What’s more beach mats, umbrellas and chairs were also there to enjoy 😀. Absolutely loved the place , pity we had a short one but I know where we are going to stay next when we arrive in Mauritius the next time . Thank you sir

Arriving at night in the village of Trou d 'eau Freshwater, Anjani was waiting for us to open up and introduce us to the apartment on the 2nd floor. When you wake up, a show opening the shutters in the room. Wow. Just a wifi issue remains.

A beautiful place to discover the east coast of Mauritius. The house is welcoming and in close proximity to a pretty intimate beach. All the amenities nearby and a very nice hand from Jacqueline for cleaning. Book without hesitation

We loved staying at Sophie's house ! This was an amazing experience for our family in Mauritius ! The amazing beach, 50meters from the house was incredible, safe, and never crowded ! This was an absolute gem ! The house itself is amazing, really well decorated, with a great beach vibe. It was prestine clean when we arrived thanks to the wonderful housekeeper Paquerette. The bedrooms are perfect, the outdoor patio is really nice. For us this house has truly been the highlight of our journey : A true family home where we felt instantly at ease, an amazing host with lots of recommandations, really flexible and always available a beautiful beach from morning til dawn, even for the kids We felt truly lucky to be able to stay there ! Everything was perfect! During our stay, we were lucky not to have neighbors, although the place generally seems very quiet. The only sound we heard was that of the waves😅. The kitchen is very functional and each bedroom has its own bathroom. We were only two, but it would be a real plus if you come in groups. The view is splendid, as is the decoration. And to not spoil anything, the host is very responsive and available. I highly recommend it!
