Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fjord

Martins place is amazing. We felt immediately like home and having the cozy fireplace in the main room was very nice. Everything was super clan and well in order, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed, except a hairdryer at the beginning, but Martin organized immediately that someone brought us a brand new one the next day. We were blessed with 180 cm snow within our one week stay and with spectacular polar lights which we observed on the upper terrace on New Year’s Eve as well as on the day after. Our main activity during our stay was to go ski at the Strandafiellet ski resort only a 10 minute drive up the mountain, which we also can highly recommend. Martin was super responsive and helpful when we were in need (we got stuck in the snow with our car a view times) and directed us for the best route back to Oslo on the snowy winter roads. We highly recommend Martins place and we would love to come back some day.

Everything was perfect we had a very stay, the view of the fjord is beautiful, we loved to contemplate it, the accommodation is very well equipped and was very clean. We would highly recommend it!

The pictures don’t do justice. The view is phenomenal. I could sit by the window for hours and just look at the view! The place itself does look like your grandma’s house not in a bad way though but rather museum like way. Absolutely loved the place. Easy parking right in front of the building. We have the whole floor to ourselves. The basement is rented out to someone else. The host responds quickly and very friendly. Thank you for a fantastic stay we will remember for years!!!

Jogeir's hytta is located between Trollstigen and Geiranger. You need to hop on Eidsdal-Linge ferry to cross fjord to reach here, but its very convient, just takes 15 mins and available till late night with good frequency. The surroundings are calm and beautiful and there are lot of good places to visit by car. We were 2 families (4 adults 3 kids) visited by electric cars, hosts was kind to allow us to charge the car. Hosts were very helpful and quickly responding. Place can easily accomodate upto 4 families. Everything you need is available in hytta. Finding the place using google maps was easy and there is enough parking space. I would recommend this place to future visitors. If I ever visit the nearby areas I will rent the place again.

Amazing apartment on the lower floor of a beautiful family house. This apartment was modern, spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We felt so comfortable walking into this Airbnb just like being at home. Comfortable bed and well equipped for self catering. Parking is right out front and free. An added bonus is the sauna which was great after a hard day sightseeing. Thoroughly recommend this Airbnb for a stay. Karen. Australia

Beautiful and spacious home in a perfect, central location if you're planning to explore Ålesund, Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Trollstigen etc. The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance and utencil you would need. The home did lack blackout curtains, which i found odd for a home in Northern Norway. Still highly recommend!

Friendly and accommodating landlords who are very keen to make guests feel comfortable. If something was missing, it was immediately remedied. The apartment in the basement is very cozy and wonderfully flooded with light with a view of the garden.

Morten’s place is in the best location in Geiranger - very close to all the major shops and restaurants, walkable distance to the water and boats while still being quiet and private.

We had a wonderful stay with our two kids. The hosts were very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Beautiful view of the fjord and the mountains. Close to many beautiful hiking and sight-seeing opportunities. The house was wonderful and included everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Would definitely recommend to others.

This lovely apartment was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms more than met our needs and we truly enjoyed the scenic views from the living room and deck. Martin was a wonderful host and took very good care of us. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a two-story/ 4 apartment unit. So you do hear the neighbors above on occasion. It should be noted that the unit is located in a residential area so there are several local residents living close by in the neighborhood. We had no issues with this but we mention it in case a potential renter is looking for solitude in an idyllic mountain setting. It is not in an isolated area. The proximity to Geiranger was excellent so the apartment’s location made a great base of operations for our adventures in and around Geiranger. Highly recommended.

For the second Easter holiday in a row, my wife and I and our two children stayed in Kristin's cozy cabin apartment at Strandafjellet and again this year it was a pleasure. The cabin apartment has everything you need and is within walking distance of the ski complex in the mountains. Hoping to come back next year!

Great place and location, close to some of the most beautiful fjords.

We really liked the new modern house. We lived on the second floor, with a spacious living room, very modern and stylish, cozy interior, spacious balcony, and wonderful view of the mountain peaks. The new housing area is surrounded by nature. A particularly pleasant surprise was the personal attention and the welcome package in the fridge with local food products. The convenient sauna was nice to warm up in the evening, and the electric car charging station was a great addition. Our sincere congratulations and thanks. 11 out of 10, highly recommended. Super cozy house

If I could, I would give more than 5 stars. We felt at home from the first second. It must be said that we booked at very short notice. Hanne and her mom were super flexible and welcomed us 2 hours later in a very clean and cozy apartment. If we could have, we would have liked to have stayed longer. We have been to many apartments and had contact with many hosts, but here we felt really most comfortable.

We felt very comfortable with Henriette. Great, are the great hiking trails in the surroundings. Our three boys were very happy about the horses, sheep, cats and dogs in the neighborhood. The host is super nice, hospitable and eager. We will be happy to come back. The listing is as described and according to the photos.

The property is located in a fairly densely built ski resort area, 5km from the village center of Stranda, where you can find shops and other services. The ski resort area is still partly in progress and under construction, navigators are also leading the wrong connection. The building itself is comfortably located next to the creek, and the apartment on the second floor has nice and unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape. The slim ceilings and large windows make the living areas cozy and spacious. Bedrooms are on two floors, pretty small. Because of the stairs, the flat is not accessible. Parking is prohibited at the side of the buildings, but there was a parking spot in the basement. Unfortunately, I don't think there's an electric car charging spot in the area, the closest one can be found in Stranda. Communication with Pål was smooth and fast. The entry instructions were clear. You could come here again.

The place was very nicely decorated, super clean and we felt right at home. The highlight was the private sauna. There were more than enough towels and even different fragrances for infusions. A perfect home on our Norway round trip.
