Beachfront holiday rentals in Fistral Beach

Wow - what an amazing place to stay! This is probably the most memorable AirBnB I have stayed in so far. You are right on the edge of the seafront and by the harbour, with the double aspect living room enabling you to see both - the sea views are just stunning. Margaret was a really friendly and communicative host, and the parking space is good. I would heartily recommend this as a great place to stay; it is just so special being able to look out and see the sea from bed, and to hear the waves lapping at the shore as you go to sleep or make your cup of tea in the morning.

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

A beautiful retreat in a stunning location. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and welcoming. Not only that but the hosts also are very generous and add additional touches - lovely Bread, butter, fudge, milk,wine- which is lovely to arrive to. The location is fantastic, just by the beach. A stunning location. We had such a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone, we would definitely stay again.

Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed! Deserves more than 5 stars. The location couldn't be better to get straight out to lots of beaches, bars etc. St Ives streets are small and traffic is restricted 930am to 4pm on the street but outside these times we found it easy to unload then booked a parking space 10 mins walk away on JustPark. The view has to be seen, it's even better than it looks... when people stop at the balcony for a picture you know it's the perfect spot - and we helped take a couple of pictures for them from above! The best thing was having a nice glass of wine on the armchairs with the windows open and listening to the waves and watching the change in tides. Spa bathroom was unreal as was everything really. Already looking at dates to come back! We also enjoyed Johns Wine Bar, The Host (had great live music), Mor Beach Cafe for morning rolls and James King for beautiful St Ives jewellery. Thanks again David we loved it all!

We had a wonderful time staying in this flat. It has the most beautiful and spectacular views of the sea. The flat was very clean, comfortable and cosy. Breakfast and drinks on the balcony overlooking the beach below was a delight. We would highly recommend Janette’s flat and hope to return for another stay!

So nice to arrive after a long journey to find the water hot with excellent shower facilities, a welcoming comfortable bed with good quality bedding. We were told it was dog friendly, so we were appreciative to find bowls, towel etc., should you forget. The location was ideal for exploring the North Coast and we made full use of our NT membership. Wonderful dog friendly beaches and eating establishments very accomodating. we particularly enjoyed Godrevy and Holywell Coves. ''Tap House'' in St Agnes is a must , great food reasonably priced , but make sure you book and allow time for parking.

Gareth was very friendly and responsive and allowed us to check in early as we arrived earlier than expected which we were really grateful for after a 6hr drive. Just be aware there isn’t a wardrobe which isn’t a issue if you’re there for a long weekend as living out of a suitcase isn’t that bad but when you’ve got a weeks worth of clothes for two people it’s a bit tricky. The views are amazing and exactly how they look in the pictures, and you’re a 5 min walk from the beach which is beautiful and dog friendly. There’s plenty of places to eat out and a Aldi close by if you want to eat in.

What an amazing home, amazing location, superb host- really quick to respond to my queries. Loved playing old LPs. Was a little nervous about sleeping in a day bed but was roomy and slept like a log. Bedding and pillows were fab, so comfy. I’m already looking at a booking this summer. Don’t waste time thinking about booking. Do it or it will be gone! Thanks Babs Neat & Andy Greaves

Great location for a lovely relaxing few days on the south coast, Cornwall has my heart, especially when the sun is shining! Melanie's instructions and recommendations for places to eat were great. Falmouth is just an our walk up the coast, lovely place to mooch about with great shops. Would recommend and happily come and stay here again

I booked this as a surprise birthday get away for my wife and our two young children and it was the most perfect place I could have ever imagined. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially the sun rise (thanks to my youngest we never missed) is something worth waking up for. The entire house was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! Mel gave very detailed instructions on how to find the home, as well as some fantastic local recommendations. Excellent communication right up to the booking and was very helpful with extras for the kids! The beach is only a short downhill walk away, even quicker if you jump in the pushchair with the kids. The beach is quite small but was perfect for us. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Cornish getaway and would definitely book again!

The flat was spotless clean and very well decorated. Perfect location for a walk into town and also a stroll to Gylly beach. The view from the window was a delight when opening the curtains in the morning. one thing to note is the flat is a top floor and there is no lift. we never used the Falmouth hotel for swimming or gym but we did find that the bar was a perfect place for a drink on the way out\way back. Would love to stay here again. Never had to contact Nicola during the stay due to no issue's, however we did receive regular updates from Nicola. perfect holiday thanks you Nicola.

A comfy and very scenic apartment, ideally situated with a short walk to the town. The apartment was well equipped and we very soon felt at home.

We had a brilliant family holiday here in Oct half term. Brilliant location so close to the beach and the costal paths, very convenient for Falmouth. The pool, sauna and hot tub are great and the kids had the best time. The apartment is compact but had everything we needed. Melanie gave lots of useful info before we arrived. We will be coming back.

Everything was as described by Anna, the Surf Shack was spotless and very well maintained. Anna's communication with us was brilliant since the beginning. The "welcome package" was a nice touch and the Surf Shack has everything you need for a lovely holiday. Essentially we used this place as a base to explore Cornwall, and even though the weather wasn't perfect with a few rainy and windy days, the truth is that we made the most of our time, always with something different to do and explore each day. The local mini-market and entertainment, the play areas and the beach also add extra value to this place. For us travelling with 2 kids, the Surf Shack was definitely a good choice and the kids didn't want to leave it! The only thing that could be improved are the bed mattresses, which could be more comfortable. Otherwise, nothing more to say except that we loved it. Thank you for having us!

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

This is the cleanest holiday rental we’ve ever stayed. Owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. Beautiful property. Wonderful area. Pool was lovely. Highly recommend. Great access to Fistral beach - just a 5 min stroll and a fabulous cafe on the way. Comfortable apartment and convenient location for Fistral beach and surrounding area.

Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at the Gem and everything about it was perfect - fully equipped, spotless + great location. In walking distance to some lovely restaurants in town or Fistral beach and Crantock beach. It is also a great location to explore other costal towns in Cornwall. If you have a paddleboard or Kayak I would recommend taking it as you can walk straight down to the waters edge from the property. Overall this was a 10/10 stay.

We just spent a short break at Sara’s Apartment. We arrived early ours of the morning so the guidance on access etc was brilliant. The apartment was modern and laid back bohemian vibe which was really homely. It’s bigger than the photos allow. There are lots of lovely touches and everything is thought of. Walking into the lounge in the morning to the sea views was incredible, views from every angle. It’s a lovely base with lots of walking trails and access to the beach and town. Sara was very responsive to any query and was super kind and helpful. It was a perfect base for a reset and dose of vitamin sea 🌊 thank you again ✌️

We had a great stay for my birthday, same as last year, and would thoroughly recommend to anyone and ideal as wife is still recovering from hip operation so having a lift is a bonus.

Wonderful stay! From start to finish, this place exceeded all expectations. The apartment was exactly as pictured — clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Holly and Tim went above and beyond, I even attended the Thai chi classes when work commitments permitted , I would definitely recommend giving that a try. The location was perfect, within walking distance to local restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach, health clubs and spas. I felt right at home and truly enjoyed my time here. Highly recommend! I will definitely be booking with Holly and Tim again and look forward to seeing them when I’m back in Cornwall. Christian

One of the nicest stays I’ve had through this app. The flat was extremely cosy and well decorated, with a lovely balcony and view of the sea to finish it off! A special mention must go out to the sofa which was so so so comfy! You can be on the beach in under two minutes from this flat and there is a nice spot for drinks there as well! Overall an amazing stay and such a friendly and helpful host :)
