The cabin is located about 4 km from Sorrisniva which is known for the fantastic ice hotel they have in winter and a great restaurant that is open all year round.

In the winter you can take advantage of the slalom slope which is right next door, just put on the slalom skis and start right on the trail or go cross-country skiing in scenic surroundings. It is also a nice and quiet place where you can relax with a good book,TV bonfire outside, etc. The northern lights can be seen often in winter 😀 During summer summertime you can go to the climbing park if it's open. There is plenty of opportunities to hike in the mountains and fields, and in the fall there is a great area for picking berries and mushrooms.

Hytten ligger på et berg bare 50 meter i fra havet med en fantastisk utsikt over Lyngenfjorden med Lyngsalpene i bakgrunn. Utsikten er unik! Hytten ble tatt i bruk i 2016 og har alle fasliteter både for korte og lengre opphold. Hytten er lun og varm, med peis i stuen, varmegulv i alle oppholdsrom og aircondition/varmepumpe. Hele fronten av hytten består av glass fra gulv til tak. Her finner du ro og velvære som gjør godt for kropp og sjel. For ekstra nytelse kan man ta seg ett bad i Jacuzzi.

Hytten ligger 10 minutter fra Skaidi, 1 time fra Alta/Hammerfest og ca 1,5 timer fra Nordkapp. Det er et sentralt og godt utgangspunkt dersom man vil utforske alt Vest Finnmark har å by på. Innlagt vann. Sommer parkering: ca 70 meter fra hytta. Vinter parkering: ca 500 meter fra hytta. Man må da gå ca 500 meter til hytten. Gode sko, klær og hodelykt må medbringes.

Luxury cabin by the river

This is a luxurious outdoor experience in raw Finnmark nature or sit inside in the living room watching the northerns lights through the large windows. If you come from abroad, the easiest way to get here is to fly to Alta and rent a car. Getting from Alta to Kokelv is about 2 hours. You can access by car to the front of the entrance area. The house contains 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds and a TV room with a double sofa bed.
