The host lives in the main apartment on the farm.

The Icehouse is a former ice factory for the fishing industry, located in the heart of Vadsø and Varanger. It is within easy reach of the city's shops, cafes, and other amenities, and has a fantastic location on the harbor promenade. The neighborhood includes the Vadsøya Cultural and Nature Park. The Icehouse is the perfect starting point for birdwatching, whale and king crab safaris, and for exploring the Varanger Peninsula with its rich history, culture, wide horizons, and raw landscape.

The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It is modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Perfectly situated for day trips around the area. :)

Its a perfect starting point for visiting the valley where the Gorsa Bridge is situated and view to the beautiful Lyngen Alps. Skiing and hiking the popular kåfjord Alps. Storhaugen and Sorbmegaisa. Its cosy surroundings to sit outside and listen to the birds and enjoying the view.
