Holiday rentals with a kayak in Finland

Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben und sieht auch wie auf den Fotos aus. Uns hat die Sauna natürlich sehr gefallen aber auch sonst das gesamte Haus. Es war erstaunlich groß und hatte alles was man braucht. Besonders schön war auch die Umgebung und dass der See wirklich sehr nah war.

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

Ein Paradies in der Natur. Das schönste und perfekteste AirBnb, das wir je erleben durften. Es war ein Traum. Alles war neu und sehr gut gepflegt. Hannu hat an alles gedacht - vom schönen Boot, kleinem Pfad auf die eigene Insel mit Grillplatz bis zur kompletten Einrichtung an Gartenmmöbeln, Fliegengittern und einer wunderschönen Sauna. Die Natur ist unbeschreiblich ! In vier Stunden sind wir um den grossen See gerudert. Man erlebt die finnischen Seen Landschaft in voller Pracht … Wasser, Weite, Bäume, Himmel… Die Villa ist so privat, es gibt keine Nachbarn weit und breit. Du bist allein und geniesst den Luxus der Villa. Ulla und Hannu wohnen 1km weiter weg und sind fürsorglich für dich da, wenn du etwas benötigst. Denk nicht nach, buche es, du wirst ein Juwel vorfinden. Zudem ist es auf der richtigen Seite mit Sonne bis Mitternacht im Sommer. Unvergesslich.

Das Haus ist außergewöhnlich, wunderschön und direkt am See gelegen. Die Einrichtung ist natürlich, modern und mit viel Holz; wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Zu beachten ist die sehr abgeschiedene Lage; die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Supermarkt) ist ca. 15 Fahrminuten entfernt. Aber mit entsprechender Planung ist auch das kein Problem. Wir haben die ruhige idyllische Lage sehr genossen.

Wonderful place and you will be impressed. Only thing that would make it even more amazing would be not have to share the dock / sauna / jacuzzi with the neighboring building in 2 hour shifts. It destroys the spontaneity of a vacation and heating up the sauna takes forever so it might not be even super hot once you start and then you may have 30min left in your 2 hour slot

We spent a week at Johanna’s cabin - the cabin was in a great location, the sauna was excellent, very easy to swim in the lake and lots of great walks in the area

Ein wahrer Traum ! Alles vor Ort und Satu so eine herzliche Gastgeberin …. Natur und Erholung pur , auch wenn abgeschieden hat man alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr : Motorboot , Ruderboot, Kajak, Sauna, schwimmen, dart spielen …. Es wird nicht langweilig …. Wir hätten locker 2 Wochen dort verbringen können …. Ausflüge nach Anttola oder mikkeli sind auch toll…. Ich hoffe wir kommen wiedermal …. Können es nur wärmstens empfehlen . Danke Satu für die tollen vier Tage in deinem Haus ♥️

We had an amazing stay here, with 4 adults and 3 children (and a small dog). Lots of berry and mushroom picking, canoeing, enjoying the beautiful lake, sauna and hot tub and even catching a few fishes. No need to go anywhere else, there is more than enough to do on the property and surroundings. Pentti was always very responsive and nice. There was everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here and wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Family of 4 visiting from Estonia, and we had a truly magical weekend at this fantastic cabin! It’s perfectly located right on a beautiful and peaceful lake. During the day, we took the rowboat out to explore the water, and in the evenings we relaxed in the sauna and hot tub—such a treat. We also made homemade pizzas in the gas pizza oven and toasted marshmallows over the firepit, which was a lovely way to end the day. The cabin is exactly as described—cozy, clean, and well-equipped—and in our opinion, it offers excellent value. We really hope to come back one day!

No words for how wonderful this place was, but I’ll try. The cabin has its own sweet little beach and is extremely private without being cut off from people should you require it. It is a peaceful, quiet, serene paradise. The main cabin has everything you need for sleeping, cooking and hanging out. Wood fire is great. Lots of staple food stuff in the pantry. Comfy bed and couch. Sauna/chill out cabin nicely done. Roomy sauna. Hot water. Comfy chairs. Outhouse toilet very easy to use, and so quaintly decorated. It’s adorable. Malin was a fabulous host. She even took us hunting for mushrooms so we would know what to eat and where to find good ones. Excellent hints also about how to view the northern lights. The setting is idyllic. We spent 4 days relaxing here and thought it was heaven. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Definitely highly recommended and thanks so much Malin for your thoughtful touches and for being such a great host.

Vietimme ihanan loman, paikka on todella omassa rauhassa ja se on täydellinen paikka ottaa irtiotto omasta hektisestä arjesta. Täydellinen paikka reaktiivisen koiran kanssa. Kolin polut ovat lyhyen ajomatkan päässä. Suosittelen lämpimästi, mekin tulemme varmasti palaamaan tänne!

Mökki oli siisti ja kauniilla paikalla. Saunassa oli hyvät löylyt ja oli mahtavaa katsella auringonlaskua omalta terassilta. Joustava sisään- ja uloskirjautuminen. Olimme todella tyytyväisiä kaikkeen. Suosittelen!

Localisation : superbe endroit isolé près d'un lac. silence apaisant. Belle nature. Il faut être en voiture. Le logement est très cozy surtout le soir avec le type d'éclairage. Pour cuisiner, il y a un poêle à bois ancien avec plaque en fonte et à côté une plaque à induction. Donc si vous voulez cuisiner avec plus de 2 casseroles, l'induction ne suffit pas. Magnifique poêle de masse qui permet de belles flambées et facile d'utilisation. Un mode d'emploi très bien fait est fourni. Sauna à bois ce qui est plus agréable que le sauna électrique, super odeur de bois. On n'y prête pas attention sur le plan mais il faut passer par la terrasse donc l'extérieur pour aller du séjour à la salle de bain et wc. Cela se fait très bien même la nuit :) par -15°. C'est original et on se sent encore plus en Finlande !! Accessoires de cuisine en nombre suffisant, bonne literie. Rideaux occultants à toutes les fenêtres. On s'y sent bien. Nous recommandons ! 😊

This cabin was luxurious with a lot of attention to details, a gorgeous sauna, and a beautiful clear lake. It is so amazingly quite. Sari and his husband were extremely friendly and the chats and delicious cake made us feel at home.

Meillä oli mahtava vierailu Jarkon mökillä. Mökki oli siisti ja hyvin varusteltu ja vierailu sujui kaikin puolin hyvin. Rantasauna oli tunnelmallinen. Plussaa myös ilmalämpöpumpusta, joka takasi viileyden ja hyvät yöunet kesälläkin. Viestintä Jarkon ja majoittajakumppanien kanssa oli helppoa ja vastaus tuli aina nopeasti. Kiitokset mukavasta käynnistä!

Ihan mieletön mökki kauniin järven lähellä. Todella kauniisti sisustettu, rauhallinen tunnelma. Oli erittäin positiivinen kokemus ja ehdottomasti suosittelen myös muille. Kiitos kun saimme olla ihanassa mökissänne!

Das Ferienhäuschen am See ist toll gelegen und war für uns perfekt. Wir waren eine Woche da und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die tollen Eindrücke, die die Fotos in der Anzeige vermitteln haben sich alle bestätigt. Einzig der Abschied fällt schwer von diesem schönen Ort. Die Gastgeberin hat uns persönlich empfangen, viele tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben. Die Kommunikation war perfekt.

Kohteesta löytyi kaikki tarvittava ja isoista ikkunoista näkyi upea merinäköala. Grillasimme terassilla ja lämmitimme puusaunan sekä uimme meressä. Majoittajat olivat erittäin ystävällisiä ja avuliaita. Kiitos!

This stay was MAGIC! We cannot thank Lotta and her team enough! It is incredibly romantic. It offers everything you could wish for. All the kitchen supplies, dishwasher, washing machine, sauna, snowshoes, a hut for cooking over a fire. Your own access to the lake. It feels like you and nature. We were also able to observe one of the most powerful boreal auras ever seen (by us) two nights in a row. The sauna and the dip in the snow renewed our energy. Lotta was really nice and answered all our questions quickly, making us feel cared for. We leave our hearts and souls here and wish you, too, the chance to get in touch with this magical land.
