Beachfront holiday rentals in Ferragudo

Jonathan was a great host. Super responsive and communicative. The location is close enough to all the bars and restaurants to walk in minutes but far enough to have some quiet. The outdoor terrace was great and the whole place was clean and comfortable. We made a mistake and locked the keys in the bedroom on accident and as to get them retrieved so keep them with you at all times in case the wind blows the door closed. We’d definitely stay again!

La maison pour débrayer, dans la simplicite, ressourçante. Elle est très bien équipée en vaisselle, linge de maison, on a l’împression d’arriver chez des amis qui ont tout laissé à disposition. Le grand plus est cette belle plage à 2 pas . C’est juste passé trop vite

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

Je communicatie vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf was erg prettig en duidelijk – dat stelde ons erg gerust. De villa zelf is prachtig gelegen, met een schitterend uitzicht en een heerlijk zwembad waar we volop van hebben kunnen genieten. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!

Sem palavras para o apartamento de José! A vista é incrível assim como nas fotos, sem palavras. O apartamento é super completo, acredito que o mais completo que ja fiquei em relação a utensílios de cozinha, além de ser lindo. A comunicação com o José foi fácil e rápida. Super recomendo e com certeza voltarei!

We had booked Susana’s villa for the week leading up to our wedding. It was the perfect spacious and aesthetic villa for our family and for the photographers on the wedding morning. There were plenty of seating areas both inside and outside the villa. The table tennis table was a great bonus along with chess board. 2 fridges made all the difference also. It is the perfect hosting house! Susana was very accommodating and prompt in communication throughout.

Carla was very communicative and kind throughout our stay. The location of her apartment was perfect for our family, with the pool and beach basically right outside of our door and a short walk to many restaurants and sights in Lagos.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in Alvor! Francisca ist eine großartige Gastgeberin – herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Sie hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen und mit allen nötigen Informationen versorgt sind. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders toll fanden wir die bereitgestellten Spielsachen, Strandutensilien wie Schirme, Stühle und Buddelsachen – perfekt für unseren Urlaub mit Kind. Die Strände in Alvor sind wunderschön, ideal zum Baden, Spielen und Entspannen. In der Umgebung gibt es tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten – unsere Tochter war begeistert vom Dino Minigolf! Die Ferienanlage selbst bietet alles, was man braucht: Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Joao is extremely responsive and helpful . He was very flexible about check in and out times The Villa is stunning, even better than the photos show, clean comfortable and well equipped. We hope to return soon Thank you Joao

Place is as advertised and fully matches the pictures. We explored all the cool beaches nearby and once we came back in the afternoon chilled by the pool. Pedro is a great host, regular checks on you and provided nice tips for beaches and also restaurants that we visited. We, a family with a kid (3.5 years old) had a great time & fabulous holiday

Sarai’s & Rubi’s home was amazing. It was the perfect little beach vacation that we needed after visiting the more urban Lisbon. One of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see is just steps away. And having the pool overlooking the ocean was very convenient. There is a restaurant next to the pool area as well right before you go all the way down to the beach. Old town isn’t too far off and you can even walk to the marina for some fun boat excursions. I would definitely come back to this home next time that I visit Lagos again.

We had a truly wonderful stay, we absolutely loved the villa, and its location walking distance to 2 beaches and lots of nice restaurants. Ferragudo is such a beautiful little town to explore on foot. Sam was very helpful before we arrived, sending us photos of the villa sign etc to help us find it easily. We arrived during the huge power cut (that affected Portugal, Spain and some of France), and Sam kindly dropped off more candles for us. We loved the huge clean villa, with a great balcony with a sea view, surround sound-system so we even had tunes in the bathroom! The kitchen was very well equipped, and a great coffee machine. The pool area was great too, so lovely and quiet in the off season of May, and a bookswap in the bathroom!

We were met at the apartment by Helena who showed us round and explained everything. We had been left milk, water, a bottle of wine and fruit, also coffee pods for the machine. This was very welcome after an early start and travelling. The apartment was so well equipped and it made our stay so comfortable. We stayed for 4 weeks and Helena came every week to change the bedding and the towels. She did a brilliant job of cleaning the apartment. It was always so clean & fresh. The roof terrace and the pool were great additions and the apartments and gardens were kept very clean and tidy. We have stayed in Ferragudo many times and the position of this apartment is the best we have stayed in. The lovely beach is only a 10 minute walk and the restaurants and shops a 15 minute walk, all very easy to access. We also had a parasol for the beach, and towels, we felt that we really had been looked after. We would definitely recommend Catia and Joao's apartment

From the moment we arrived to when we left we felt at home. Hans went to great lengths to make sure we were provided with local recommendations and information to settle us in to our holiday. The accommodation was perfect for us. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and we had many a lovely evenings on the terrace. A perfect location for all to enjoy. Thank you for having us! Our stay was AMAZING! The apartment was exactly as described and was a perfect place for us to relax. As you can see in the photos, it's a 2 story and the deck space is amazing. Loved the layout, the close proximity to the beach, and all the restaurants in the area. We had a car and really appreciated the underground parking as well. Ana was phenomenal with her communication and check-in was very simple. In fact, Ana was incredible with her communication leading up to and during our stay. We were 2 couples and this was a great setup for us. 100% would recommend this apartment, and would love to stay again! Our 3 days in Portimao were super relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Incredible stay in this beautiful villa hosted by Wilson. We had such an amazing time! The view is simply magnificent, there is plenty of room and seating areas to enjoy it every minute of the day. We had the pool heated and it was totally worth it. Note if you are travelling with kids, there is a small separated part of the pool that is PERFECT for toddlers. Wilson was such a great host, starting from the Booking. He gave us plenty of suggestions and tips to make the most out of our stay and he welcomed us with a welcome basket which was much appreciated as we just arrived from our night flight. Everything was super clean and there was even everything you need to enjoy the pool and the beach with kids. Don’t look further, if you have a car, this villa is the best base to explore the Algarve. We would happily come back!

Queen of the Bay is an exceptional place to stay. The location is second to none, with uninterrupted views over Carvoiero beach and cliffs from the front terrace and roof top. The house is superbly designed, immaculately clean and very well equipped. We loved being able to relax, eat and drink in so many different settings in one place! We were very well looked after by Katherine, and will definitely be returning as soon as possible!

Bei all den vielen positiven Bewertungen hier kann ich mich nur anschließen und noch einmal betonen, wie toll diese Unterkunft ist! - Der Ausblick auf das Castle und die Hafeneinfahrt mit dem Fluß Arade von Balkon und Terrasse ist einfach umwerfend schön (schöner kann man eigentlich kaum sitzen!). Die Einrichtung der Villa ist authentisch und nicht hypermodern. Wir fanden sie insgesamt sehr stimmig, auch mit der Deko. Das Schlafzimmer mit Terrasse und dem Duschbad ist sehr geräumig und der Ausblick auch hier super schön. Das 2. Schlafzimmer ist etwas dunkel, da das große Fenster darin "nur" auf die kleine Terrasse vor dem Haus geht und hier nicht wirklich viel Licht reinfällt. Aber da wir uns außer zum Schlafen nicht lange in diesem Zimmer aufgehalten haben, hat uns das nicht gestört. Einziges Manko, dass in den Schränken eher wenig Platz ist, weil viele Decken etc. darin liegen. Das Haus an sich ist geräumig, der Wohn-/Essbereich groß und gemütlich. Für uns eine tolle Unterkunft!!

Schönes Haus, mit allem was für einen entspannten Urlaub notwendig ist. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten komfortabel. Die Lage ist ruhig und der Strand in 10 min. zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Martine hat uns viele hilfreiche Tipps für Unternehmungen sowie gute Hinweise auf Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung gegeben und war bei Rückfragen immer schnell erreichbar. Wir können die Casa de Martine in jedem Fall empfehlen.
