Our weekend at this truly beautiful and magnificent location. John is a great host, really lovely and easy to chat to. We really enjoyed his stories and sharing how our stay was going. Our days were filled with beauty and magic, all the little touches made a huge difference. Sitting in the spa, wandering to the waterhole, lazing on the grounds, games by the fire and cooking dinner on the bbq. We wandered into bellingen markets and also explored viewpoints and walks. So stunning! It was absolutely the most perfect weekend away. Would love to go back! Thanks again John, many fond memories 🧡

Beautiful decorated oasis. The spa was amazing. Property was clean and very welcoming. We arrived stressed to the max and left feeling very relaxed. Loved the view and wildlife roaming and the kangaroos were an added bonus.

Great place to relax and unwind with complete privacy! Outdoor bath is unreal to star gaze or watch the setting sun from! Plenty of space to play some lawn games, enjoy the peaceful nature outlook and even have a dip in the creek! Comfortable unit with full kitchen which I always appreciate! Such a lovely cottage to stay in, very private and had everything you could need. As others have said there is some road noise but it really didn’t bother or impact our stay. Whilst the weather didn’t behave we could still sit out on the gorgeous big deck and watch the world go by & we were lucky to see such a picturesque sunset. I slept in the single bed which was cosy and comfortable (and could have my little doggie in his bed on the floor beside me) & my brother had the other room. He loved having the curtains open as the view from the bed was great. Actually all the windows had views of the creek, fields and trees and wildlife. Don’t expect the Hilton, but expect everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. It was such a peaceful stay for us & as we were leaving we were farewelled by a number of sheep and lambs - that was so lovely to see. We both agreed we would have no hesitation in staying there again. Thanx for having us x

Michelle and Kim are beautiful hosts and their little cottage was an amazing halfway point for our trip up to Queensland. Our son loved the animals and the it was an amazing place to just relax, enjoy some nature and get some rest before the rest of our journey. So glad we didn't stay at a hotel!

Above and beyond. Stephen and Jude really put 110% in hosting their Airbnb. It's something you don't see often. The place was sweaky clean, which is hard to believe for a place that hosts so many pets! The attention to detail is impeccable, it's well stocked, and they provided a few treats for us and our doggo. The property is beautiful and the cabin is cosy. We spent a few days working there and had no issues with internet, even with video calls. Thanks so much for having us!

wow! where do I start. the serenity? the amazing views? the super clean well equipped cottage? the friendly thoughtful host? we loved everything about Sam's place, from the cosy fireplace to the sun-filled deck, the well maintained walking trails, secure yard for our pooch, comfy bed, ....the goats! We are already planning to return next year.

The cottage is very cute and cosy. The host clearly loves her garden which makes a lovely outlook, and the neighbourhood is very quiet. It’s a short drive to all the beaches in Valla and the two cafes. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and crisp. The house is full of little friendly touches which add personality. It was a great base for visiting family who live nearby and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Valla. A very pleasant place to stay.

This was our second stay at Skye - enjoyed it as much as the first (if not more, because we booked an extra night this time). Water was the perfect temperature for a couple of swims (half hour drive to beautiful Hat Head). Great option if you want some quiet time away.

It was the little touches that stood out for us…the welcome chocolates, the fire place laid - ready to light and the essentials available - salt, pepper, oil, coffee, milk etc.

We had a lovely stay at Fay's Cottage. Although the weather was rainy, it didn't matter as we were content to spend time at the cottage and enjoy the landscape around us. We particularly enjoyed Hugh's tour of the property and livestock. Janniene's scones were also a welcome afternoon tea. Thank you Hugh and Janniene, we felt well looked after and it was a great stay.

This is a wonderful property and a great find. We met Candy and John when we arrived and they were so helpful. It was great to meet them. The property was spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a great stay. There was even a selection of goodies they left for us which was very kind. The area is great with restaurants, beaches and plenty to see and do. Absolutely no negatives about this property. Wonderful hosts and a great property. Many thanks for our stay.

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin! The cabin was spacious, airy and well decorated. The location was amazing and the nature was beautiful. Sharon and her husband Bill were really helpful and kind. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed at Aline’s place after 5 days of camping over Easter and it was just what we were looking for, peaceful, off grid, and super comfortable. The place had everything we needed, the bath outdoor was just amazing, and the creek, despite the rain, was a gorgeous spot. It was definitely an adventure for us, being transported with the tractor because the rain had risen the water level too high we couldn’t cross with the car, it was fun! 😀 something to remember for sure. Aline was super responsive and the direction to get there were super easy, and both her and Eppie were such a lovely host, always insuring we had what we needed. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place for your next trip, we really recommend this, because even though it almost rained the whole time, this place has still so much to offer. What an awesome place to get away from it all. While I stayed here mid summer there was a cold snap and it got down to 10 degrees overnight. The fireplace was set up ready to go so I was warm and comfortable and had such a beautiful outlook over the mountains and moffat falls. Will stay here again.

We are two single people so the fact that there are two single beds was just what we required. The location is ideal for exploring the nearby national parks. Everything is provided for a longer self-catered stay than we needed. Thank you Elizabeth for making your place available in an area with few other options.
