The house is spacious, beautiful, well decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is very pleasant and provided some good evenings playing cards with the family. The location is quiet, but close to beautiful areas to visit (if you are by car). An excellent choice for a few days of rest, with the beauty of the green and the river.

The house has a beautiful view, it was clean and they even left us some treats. The communication was excellent, super responsive and friendly. The neighbors are also very friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay, where we could enjoy the tranquility of the space, the surrounding nature, the leisure facilities, and to punctuate these wonderful days spent with the family, the hospitality and authenticity of the hosts, which allowed us to differentiate this experience from others of the genre. Much more than a very nice accommodation, Sonia gives all the tips and good addresses to spend a wonderful stay. It contains everything you need, including a washing machine and dishwasher. Great!! Recommended.

Thank you for this stay was lovely, we drove our car to the property accompanied by Rui and Isabella, only because our car is 4WD, the house is just beautiful, there is no one nearby and very quiet. There are also two bathtubs that need to be heated and enjoyed, it's very cool and relaxing! The house in person is much more cozy and beautiful than in the photos, it is a delight. It was especially nice that when I received a burn through my own fault in the bathroom in the closet there was a burn remedy, this is a very safe and cozy house.

Fernando was a great host, he was very communicative and helpful. The house was exactly like we saw in the pictures. Thank you Fernando for the relaxed atmosphere.

Ines and her mother looked after us incredibly well during our stay. We were welcomed to the property by the friendly face of Ines' mother and she showed us around all of the property and grounds. Once we had the tour and knew where everything was, the hosts vacated the property and left us in privacy. The property is stunning and the pictures truly do not do it justice. The pool was a sun trap, the grounds we beautiful, we even forgot to buy lemons for cocktails but the property even has a lemon and orange tree to solve our problem. There is nothing that this property doesn't have. If it's not there, you don't need it. Thank you so much to everyone at Quinta de Gatao for looking after us. We will be back for sure.

The site of Helena is fantastic, with an extraordinary garden and surrounded by beautiful landscapes and tranquility. Exactly as described, it was one of my best experiences on the platform. A great house in a beautiful location where you can unite with the mother nature. Américo and Rosalina are very nice hosts. They waited for our late arrival at 10pm to greet us and show the place, making the check-in process as smooth as possible. The house and the yard are very cozy, having a lot of lovely little details. The surrounding nature is gorgeous; the pictures do not show the real beauty. You can see the Milky Way in the night sky, and the morning fog covering the mountains is just stunning. We got the fresh bread in the morning at the gate, which was very delicious. Driving to Porto, Pinhão, and Guimaraes, is about one hour as part of the road goes via a serpentine road with amazing views. We were a company of four adults and two kids, and everything was great. The kids had fun swimming in the pool. I wish we could stay longer at Américo's place. We definitely highly recommend his house!

Host was excellent to communicate with . Views were spectacular and the garden and surroundings were very tranquil . An abundance of fruit to pick from the orchard and the Pool was clean and maintained. A great place which is so pet friendly. The only downside is the barking of dogs around the property which at night may disturb the light sleeper . Overall a superb place to stay .

I thought the house is actually better than what was in the photos. All bedrooms have their own bathroom, well equipped kitchen. The garden is very well cared for and the pool has 3 heights, ideal for children. The house is a little out of the way from the village but 10 minutes away by car there is everything you need. I would definitely repeat.

I loved the space. Super quiet, with a boat on the lake right next to the house that my kids loved. Mr. Francisco and his wife, Mrs. Helena, are very friendly, they make us feel very comfortable, we feel like family. The wine from the farm is wonderful. Take advantage of the stay to try it and stock up at home 😉 It was only 3 days, but wonderful. Congratulations on the super neat space and thank you for the genuine sympathy.

The place is very nice, very large, and the garden area is fantastic especially if you have children because there is no room for them to run and have fun . The Hosts have always been very kind and helpful. I highly recommend the space.

Our stay in this house was really fantastic! The house itself was amazing and offered incredible tranquility. The hostess is one of the friendliest people we have ever met. Upon arrival we could easily park our car in the driveway of the hostess's house. She was so thoughtful in helping us get our luggage to the vacation house. To get to the house, you walk through a beautiful vineyard. This walk is an experience in itself, the surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. Once we arrived at the cottage, we were treated to an amazing view of the vineyard. The house itself is cozy and comfortably furnished, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a swimming pool within walking distance of the house, located on a hill. The pool is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and it was wonderful to spend time there with the family. All in all, this house was really a highlight of our first holiday in Portugal. We can recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay!

Fabulous holiday in a beautiful villa in beautiful surroundings. Antonio was a very helpful host, recommending restaurants and supermarkets to us. Lots of space for a mixed family holiday of 7. Villa had all required amenities.

We spent a week in this typical Portuguese house. 4 couples between 25 and 30 years old. This rental has far exceeded our expectations. imagine finding yourself in a home with beautiful spaces, surrounded by orange trees, vines, Eucalyptus and beautiful nature. All maintained to perfection. the pool is perfect size, a shutter net or badminton is available, a pool table, a family-style barbecue. The icing on the cake, we had a bar at our disposal in the TV room (fridge + ice maker). neighbors are too far away to be bothered This villa will be perfect for a week / 15 days with your friends with or without children. we will definitely return to this beautiful place! Exceptional house with all the necessary equipment. Very clean, very good bedding and excellent pillows. It's a pleasure to eat on the "bridge" between the 2 parts of the house and to see the sunset during dinner. All amenities are functional and there are a large number of cutlery, plates etc. we lack nothing. The environment is just magical. An incredible view, a garden of several hectares with plenty of fruit trees and a beautiful vegetable garden. We ate cucumbers, zucchini, lemons, grapefruits and oranges throughout the stay. The pool is very good and refreshing. Once in the property we felt like we were alone in the world. Very quiet and very relaxing. We are minutes from shops (continent, Intermarché and pingo doce). Carlos is a very welcoming and kind host. He granted us all our requests. A big thank you to him. We'll be back for sure.

Exceptional stay thanks to Dona Fatima and Douce, who are taking care of everything so we can enjoy this beautiful property.
