Little Moon, fully renovated 1950 Aljo trailer, found buried to its axles in Mojave. Named after her original owner, a Native American woman named Little Moon, whose birth certificate was found in the trailer. She has now been rebuilt and completely restored and placed in a perfect location under oak trees and next to our vegetable garden on our ranch where our numerous animals keep her company. This home is ZEN. You are at one with the ocean, a part of it. The pictures cannot convey the experience. We watched surfers and dolphins and birds, even had a seagull visit a few times. It was very hard to leave. I hope to be back. Thank you DeLayne for sharing paradise.

Camilla was very responsive and even reached out to us independently to ask how we were doing and if we needed anything. Her casa kitchen was well stocked, the cottage is very cute , comfortable bed living area is relaxing and an easy quick drive to Ojai. We will definitely want to stay again when in the area. We highly recommend.

Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir mit selbst gebackenen Keksen herzlich begrüßt – eine so liebevolle Geste, die uns sofort ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert hat. Das Haus selbst ist ein kleines Paradies: die gemütliche Terrasse mit den bequemen Sitzmöglichkeiten lädt zum Entspannen ein, umgeben von einer idyllischen Gartenlandschaft mit alten Bäumen und wunderschönen Pflanzen. Alles ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, dass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Die Steinwege und die natürliche Atmosphäre haben eine ganz besondere, beruhigende Wirkung – perfekt, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Amy und Steve sind die besten Airbnb-Gastgeber, die wir je hatten! Absolutely LOVE this house! Felt like home the minute we walked in. Everything was as it was detailed in the listing and the photos are very accurate. Kitchen was well equipped which was so appreciated since we were there for the whole week of Christmas. Plus the location was sooooo special, quiet, private and beautiful sunsets. Cruz was a great host, super responsive and always helpful. We would absolutely return and stay there again!

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn and Maurice’s apartment! We had an early flight and were already in town waiting on our 3 o’clock check in when she let us know it was all ready for us, which was a relief because we needed to rest. Just after getting in we were surprised with fresh baked cookies that were delicious! That place was nice and clean and had everything you could need. I walked to the beach morning and night and it was quick and easy. I was very glad to see a first aid kit and beach towels since we had forgotten towels and bandaids. Ventura was home so we were in town visiting family and the place even had Tupperware so I was prepared to snatch my great aunt’s leftovers to enjoy at the apartment later. We were lucky enough to meet both Carolyn and Maurice in the driveway and chat for a bit. The couple times I needed anything Carolyn was quick to respond anywhere from 30 secs to 20 mins on messaging and they were just a minute away upstairs. Great place & hosts! 5 star

Seascape - Beachfront Splendor in Mussel Shoals

This is a beautiful home in one of the few waterfront properties between Santa Barbara and Ventura. The host was highly responsive and accommodating, and the place was very clean despite some wear and tear. The only cautions I would give to someone looking to stay here are that (1) the pool and hot tub are extremely narrow, (2) the house has no air conditioning, and (3) a large suburban or truck won’t fit in the carport with the gate closed. Otherwise a great place to stay.
