Holiday rentals with breakfast in Fana

Feel more like temporarily adoption into a family than a hotel stay. Very pleasant experience

We absolutely loved our stay with Knut and his family! Hands down the most generous people we've ever met. We picked Knut's house as it was a traditional Norwegian barn house and a good location whilst on our hiking trip around Bergen. There’s also a bus to Bergen which runs quite regularly. Knut offered us to stay in their cabin in the mountains and of course we had to say yes, in return we had to feed a lamb… perfect! Their cabin was very homely. He also offered us a trip on their little boat. I’d recommend this place to other travellers who are on hiking trips, the views from the house are also very nice. You’ll also be greeted by lots of animals, we had the pleasure of meeting the two newly hatched chicks. Thank you for letting us stay, we loved it. Highlight of our trip 

Pleasant stay. The rooms were as expected.

I have a big pleasure during my 2 night stays at this place with my friends. Here has a lot of space and bed for my group of 10 persons. We got two stories which both is decorated so comfy and cozy. The host is always responsive to my question and give me the clear answer.

Clean and tidy apartment, looks exactly like the photos. Easy to find and walkable distance to the center of Bergen, restaurants and shops etc.

Wonderful stay in Bergen. Rose was an amazing communicator. She thought of every little detail and told us ahead of our arrival. Rose went to great lengths to arrange a key pick up convenient to us when our train arrived really late. She gave us a heads up about maintenance on the building and great detail in directions to her place. This is Rose’s home and it’s such a pleasure when someone opens up their actual home to you and invites you to help yourself to what is there. Like the old days on Airbnb. The kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed coffee each morning. The apartment is a 20 minute walk to town but the price of the accommodation made it worth it. The flat is in a modern area close to the waterfront. The grocery store is down the steps literally a minute away. We loved the 2 full bathrooms each with a shower. The beds were super comfy. Would highly recommend Rose’s flat for families, couples or anyone looking for a very nice and comfortable stay very reasonably priced.

Great location in Bergen. I enjoyed my stay and Kristofer was very helpful and quickly responded to our messages. The check-in process caused me to get lost but Kristofer was great in assisting me. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. We had a few loud nights due to the bar(s) nearby, but overall a great stay. This flat is close to everything and is in the best part of Bergen. Limited parking if you have a car, but they have plenty of parking garages ($$$) available.

We really enjoyed staying at Birgit`s place. Birgit was helpful and just wonderful host. I highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved this place, AND the hosts!! Couldn’t recommend it enough it was actually better than expected. Really had the local vibe with great local spots and easy walking to and from everything! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Inger Berit went over and above what we would have expected from any hostess or host. She and her Husband went out of their way to make our stay as smooth as possible. My son and I would highly recommend their place and would rate it higher if we could!

I was looking for accommodation near to the resorts of Voss and Myrkdalen. I hired a car at the airport and drove, Voss was 30mins and Myrkdalen was 50mins so for me ideally placed. Bridget even helped me plan my day off and the public transport to and from my Fjord cruise. I was made very welcome using the family room and felt at ease whether integrating with the whole family or just sat reading my book. Jason the pet dog was a joy but feel that not being into dog's would not have been a problem. I didn't have an evening meal with the family but did use the kitchen to prepare my own food. The breakfast was very good and varied. I recycle all i can at home in the UK but was impressed by their system. Parking was easy being just outside.

Very friendly welcome, everything went great. Location is also good I highly recommend it:)
