Beachfront holiday rentals in Fana

On a good summer day, you will have to search for a more idyllic place!

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed this beautiful place. Even though its part of a bigger (beautiful!) house because it is across 2 floors the apartment feels spacious. It's very beautifully decorated and feels cosy and warm. The views across the fjord are incredible and seem to change every time you look out of the window. Aleksander and Johanne were responsive, friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant opposite is fantastic too. The only thing we missed was a comfy chair or sofa - and slippers for our little girl to wear on the wooden floor whilst she was rushing around at speed (bit slippy/splintery in a couple of places). I'm sure this wouldn't affect adults or older kids though! She LOVED the bath and bathroom! The outdoor deck area is lovely, despite a lot of rain during our stay we made use of it. There's a rowing boat you can borrow and sauna to hire too - we didn't as our daughter a bit young but would be great fun! A great place to stay in a beautiful part of Norway!

Amazing experience! We stayed in the cabin for 2 days but I’d easily spend in the house a week or two. Perfect location right next to the water with mountains around. 3 isolated bedrooms, nice wooden stove, 100% equipped kitchen, even the dishes are super beautiful Absolutely worth all the good reviews, thank you!

Gorgeous little home on the ocean. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had one fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant. The hot tub was also a great addition. One note, the floor is a bit noisy so keep that in mind if you have small children and don’t want to wake them by walking around. Other than that, we would stay here again. Thank you!

Rosendal, the nature, the mountains, the culture, the weather. Everything was wonderful. The courthouse, Anita and Dag and the swimming area as well. We had a brilliant long weekend and didn't miss anything. We gladly came back...

Arne's place has the most beautiful views of the ocean and that alone makes it worth every penny! My family and I made so many precious memories.And even with such a gorgeous ocean view it is still very conveniently located near a big Kiwi supermarket. House is very cozy and well equipped in every way. 2 sets of BBQ pits, well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. I will definitely recommend staying at Arne's house if you are in Bergen, to me and my family his house was the highlight of our holiday in Bergen.

It does not have easy access because you have to walk from the parking, but the instructions were very clear with photos of everything. It was so easy to access like this. Everything is clean and complies with everything it advertises. Responds quickly. Beautiful place!

Our family had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The property and surroundings offered amazing views and was extremely quiet and peaceful. The property was perfectly located for our family to enjoy the tranquility of the location as well as close enough to the city for activities. Ole Petter was a wonderful host, always responsive to any questions we had and more than happy to provide recommendations to help us enjoy our stay.

The stay at May‘s place was fantastic. Stunning views, awesome house, great communication with the host. One of the best equipped accommodations I have ever stayed at. Lovely interior, spectacular outside and the bot house is a true gem. We had a great time and can highly recommend.

We had a really relaxing stay at the cabin with the nicest view :) Marius was very precise and detailed in his descriptions and always open for any questions - in total great communication. An amazing opportunity if you are around Bergen to spend a rainy fall weekend where you just want to read your book while looking out the window seeing a wavy sea and colorful trees around but probably even nicer in the summer when you can dip more often into the water and spend most of the time at the balcony. Thank you so much!!

This is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location in Hardangerfjord. The house is big with many bedrooms and excellent facilities with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the house is breathtaking, the hot tub great and allt the boats and paddleboards make your days full of fun and exciting adventures. The area is great for action or/and relaxing just as you want. Kjetil is a excellent host, easy to comunicate with and very helpful. I highly recomend this property and I hope that I will have the opportunity revisit it soon.

Otherwise is a perfect host who is helpful and very flexible. I was allowed to use the boat and even the Hings (boat as indicated for a fee). Beautiful location for walks and (for me especially) fishing (cod, pollak, Leng, squid, scarf and even a shark).

Austevoll is a fantastic place in itself into the ocean gap. The apartment is located right next to the amenities described in the listing. Mette was a great host who showed us how to get to the right places we needed. Even though we were delayed for over 1 hour due to the wrong ferry boat, she was waiting for us. Great stay. The availability is located a few meters from the water with lovely views of the sea.

It was just fantastic and beautiful. The little house has everything you need and is in a great location. We would definitely come back☺️

Gorgeous location. Peaceful walks right out the door. Close to Herdla which has quite a few interesting places like a bird sanctuary and sauna. The host is friendly and super helpful!

Fantastic accommodation with beautiful views of nature. Every morning and evening, you can sit in the sun on the terrace in peace.

Fantastic place, perfect location. I am tempted to return to Norway just to stay here again. It was an easy drive to sites in the Bergen area and we even did two far-flung day trips, after which it was great to come back to this beautiful relaxing place. The kitchen is so well stocked that I could truly cook (eg a quiche). We arrived on a Sunday when everything is closed and were so pleased that we were able to make use of Gunn’s stock of dry goods - plus she left us a bottle of wine! And I am so grateful for Gunn’s tenant (in the other half of the villa) who luckily was home to let me in when I accidentally locked myself out. I was disappointed at first to discover that the TV room wasn’t working but then I completely forgot that it even existed, because I always just wanted to be upstairs looking at the spectacular view. We even saw the cruise ship we arrived on head back out to sea.

Direct location on the water with huge panoramic windows - you can also look at the fjord in bad weather. Bjarne's house is great; plenty of space, equipped with everything you need, a great kitchen, two very cozy armchairs for a relaxed view of the water and above all the whirlpool as a real highlight! The quiet here was to be expected, as it is located a bit outside in a peaceful holiday home settlement. Beautiful hikes through the nature of Norway are possible in the immediate vicinity. Bjarne was a very friendly host. Communication was quick, friendly, and helpful. He immediately solved a problem with the gas grill and repaired it. We felt comfortable at Bjarne's!

The Host's house is a big house. The floor below was given to us. The three rooms are all very well designed. Perfect Nordic style. It's just like living in a model home. Very welcoming communication.

Wonderful view of Bergen’s fjord. Close to city center and public transportation was so convenient. The apartment was clean and cozy and Kristina and Ivar were very welcoming. All in all a perfect experience! We loved it!
