Family-friendly holiday rentals in False Bay

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

A fantastic getaway option. The Rosemary hut is perfect for a couple weekend away - remote and romantic. Communication from the host is proactive and they make accommodations and arrangements around your arrival time - like starting the hot tub before your arrival! 10/10 would recommend. The kitchen is well-equipped, and they provide the necessities - like milk, rusks and wine.

We had a wonderful stay. The space was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Laurette was incredibly friendly. Communication was excellent - responsible and informative, without ever feeling overbearing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed place to stay!

Beautiful home and a great space for a family or small group. Located just down the road from botanical gardens in a gorgeous neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed. Our group included a couple of small kids so we appreciated that there were plenty of at-home activities when we were not out and about in Cape Town (pool, hot tub, playground, smart TV, books). Wish we could’ve stayed longer — hope to come again!

The location for the Tree House is simply fab!!! Views of the mountain from the house and quite centrally located to move around near hout bay, and even V&A was not too far! We’d go back in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing time staying at Leon's place over the Easter weekend. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. Amazing views of the Hemel en Aarde valley from the pool or hot tub. We'll definitely come back.

Amazing stay

I honestly cannot put into words how wonderful Bruce’s home is! It has everything you could possibly need, loads of space, comfort, a fabulous pool and absolutely awesome view. The area is unmatched with lots to do all around. Bruce is highly responsive and incredibly proactive and kind. This house is incredibly special and my family and I are already thinking of when we can get back to stay for longer! Thank you!

Yvette was a great host. Very accommodating. If we needed anything she was quickly responsive. The place was beautifully decorated and very clean and included a couple of luxurious features.

We really enjoyed staying in this house. There were a few challenges during our stay, but the host was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Welcome wine was a nice touch!

This is right at the top of the list of best AirBnB stays we have ever had. The house is magnificent and the surroundings are breathtaking. It is safe and the hosts are incredible. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We enjoyed our stay very, very much! The view is just mesmerising and waking up to that was wonderful. The house is super well equipped. There was even dishsoap, dishwasher tablets, handsoap etc. provided. I found that exceptional. ♥️ The furniture and interior design is very modern. We loved that! And the house was clean. The house looked bigger in the pictures, but it’s just our impression. And we definitely still had everything we needed (and more). It was the right number of bedrooms as in the description and this is the most important thing for us. And there was even an entertainment room in the garage. It was awesome! Thank you 😊

We spent 3 blissful days Ilah's place. An idyllic location with stunning views of the ocean and the mountain. The house was well maintained and very well equipped. Ilah was responsive and accommodating when we needed to change dates. We do not hesitate in recommending Ilah's place, if you are looking for peace, beauty, ease and a homey feeling.

I stayed in Dorette's flat for 5 months, and it really did feel like home. The neighbors in the apartment building were very friendly, the flat managed to remain cool during very hot days, the courtyard was very peaceful and private, and Dorette herself was very friendly and very responsive to my questions. I have fallen in love with the Vredehoek area, it is very peaceful (when it isn't windy!) and it was an enjoyable walk to the local grocery store and coffee shop.

We stayed with our family & 7 month old during the Easter break & it was a fantastic time. The hosts were so lovely & accommodating in such special ways. Absolutely coming back next time we’re in the province!

Sandra was very friendly, professional and helpful and was very accommodating with our check in when our plans changed last minute. The unit was exactly as shown in the photos. Everything was new & well decorated. Everything we needed was in the unit, right down to having adapter plugs for charging in the bedrooms. The view of the ocean from the balcony was stunning! Easy access to some spectacular scenery- Noordhoek Beach and Chapmans Peak Drive. Very close to good brewery and restaurants. Carolyn’s a friendly and responsive host with helpful local knowledge. We would stay again.

This accomodation easily goes in the Top 3 places I've stayed in Cape Town. It is absolutely gorgeous surrounded by trees and flowers and birds, and wonderfully private, with friendly staff. It's the last line of houses on the base of Table Mountain, and thus has the best view I've seen so far from a home in Cape Town. We could clearly see all the mountains, down to the little waterfalls and cable car. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, including some ingredients for cooking. Its also a lot more spacious and beautiful than the pictures. My partner and I especially enjoyed the access to the back gate which leads directly to a trail along Table Mountain, where we did some painting and sketching en plein air, an artist's dream. Heino and Christo's place was a little oasis during our first time in Cape Town. The apartment was safe and secure and had all of the amenities one needed with a supermarket, cafe's and restaurants within walking distance. The hosts were responsive to any requests or needs that we had during our stay and even assisted us with finding other accommodation when our flights were changed, and they had another booking.
