Holiday rentals with a patio in Faja de Baixo

Staying at Debbie's place was the perfect way to start off our trip! Absolutely amazing views from any window in the place. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of fresh towels for our stay. We enjoyed having our coffee & pasteis de nata every morning at the property before heading out to explore the island. Great location - we walked to a different (delicious) restaurants each night. Since we were traveling very light, having the washer there to do a small load of laundry was very convenient. Would definitely stay there again!

The accommodation was impeccably clean and in a comfortable and cozy decoration. The welcome basket with regional products was a very thoughtful gesture by hosts. The house has excellent soundproofing, which provides a peaceful rest. It is very well equipped, with plenty of utensils available. I highly recommend this site and will undoubtedly return at the next opportunity.

The most fantastic apt. to stay for the week. Graça was so amazing, the unit was very close walking distance to all the fun stuff and was well appointed. I would absolutely recommend staying here when in PDL!

Amazing two-bedroom apartment with huge patio, living room, great kitchen with coffee Nepresso machine. Good local amenities (jams, local pastries, biscuits) Great area just 5 min drive from Ponta Delgada downtown, 2min walk from a great beach with amazing waves for surfing. Fatima was a great host, attentive and helpful.

Great apartment. Easy to access. Central location. Lots of space. Well equipped. Comfy bed and nice shower. Sara accommodated a late check out and arranged a taxi for us. Elevator was good for luggage. Highly recommend!

The house is well located, close to supermarkets and anywhere on the island. We traveled with a baby and everything was adequate, they provided a crib and high chair for him. It had a garden where we could enjoy. The area was quiet, although the lower part of the neighborhood is somewhat hostile, but since we were driving it was not a problem. Also, something to note is that there is no microwave or gel. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Henrique was such a great host who provided a beautiful home for our stay on São Miguel Island! Be sure to get some good use out of the wonderful terrace! The location is very convenient for those looking to roam around Ponta Delgada on foot, be just minutes away from the airport, and have easy access to main roads in case you want to venture to other parts of the island. I would love to stay here again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is very close to a popular surf spot, it's just 1 minute walk. The apartment is very modern and having the jakuzi on the terrace was a nice experience. The communication with Ryan was very fast, when there was a problem, he helped immediately.

We had a great stay, the house does not have this professional touch but feels like a private house, you hardly find that on Airbnb these days. The view to the sea is great and you can explore the whole island from this spot.

Convenient location to reach every part of the island, with essentials like bakery, convenience store and cafe at walking distance. Best part was coming back to the peaceful garden after a day of adventuring.

What an incredible stay! São Miguel is a fantastic location — stunning nature, amazing views, and so much to explore. The accommodation had everything we needed and more; it was clean, comfortable, and felt like home. Our host was absolutely wonderful — super kind, helpful, and always available, even giving us great restaurant recommendations (which turned out to be some of the best meals we've had!). We loved our stay in Ponta Delgada! Bruno's place was absolutely lovely. We were so impressed with how big and clean the space was! Bruno was incredibly kind and responsive which took away a lot of stress, and he offered some amazing recommendations for activities, restaurants, and places to visit, some of which were the highlight of our stay! We rented a car and had no problem finding street parking during our stay, which was super convenient. When we return to Sao Miguel we would absolutely stay at Bruno's place again!

Maria’s place was great! Clean, well located and private. I loved the patio’s even though we didn’t use because of the weather. She had a barbecue ready to go if you felt the need to cook! Restaurants are all within walking distance and there is a great choice of them. Maria was easy to contact and very receptive to our needs. It was easy to communicate with her. She had a board full of places to visit if people didn’t do their research of places to go. Parking was hit and miss however Maria’s place was surrounded by paid parking if no spot was available in front of the house. Maria’s place is extremely well located and I will definitely recommend to family and friends that are planning a trip to Sao Miguel!

We had an amazing stay at Leonardo’s place! The house is beautiful and spacious and so well located. Nice high ceilings, double doors and a charming patio for outdoor meals! We could walk to everything in Ponta Delgada. There was a bit of road noise, which is to be expected in the middle of town, but it didn’t bother us at all. We were completely charmed by the place!

The stay at the Hydrangea House was amazing. Not just the position of the house with view on the ocean was amazing but also the location on the island. The whole island was quickly reachable by car from here. Definitly would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Sara‘s apartment! The flat is very well equipped, in an ideal location and Sara did everything to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect Airbnb in so many ways - clean, lots of amenities, great location. We had 5 days here on Sao Miguel Island and Maria's condo was perfect. She left us snacks, wine and other little treats. Maria is incredibly generous and has great attention to detail. We highly recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nathan’s condo. Our day started and ended on the balcony, enjoying the ocean view, quite sure we even saw a pod of dolphins one morning! Kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need to cook some meals. Pingo Doce Supermarket is about a 2 minute drive and the beach really is a five minute walk. Very central location to get everywhere on the island - Nordeste was our furthest day trip and it took about an hour. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I had a most wonderful stay for 6 nights at the Ocean View 11. Before we committed to the reservation I could tell we had a lot in common with our hosts. We are an active, healthy athletic couple in our 70’s that love exploring, hiking, eating, conversing with locals and learning history. The unit is perfect and well described the way it is. I could always find parking within two blocks. The best rooms in the house are the awesome patio with oven view. We had all our breakfasts there. It’s quiet, spacious and modern. The malecón along the beach is awesome and great for a walk or run. I swam at the protected beach near it. The owners gave us an amazing list of recommended sites to visit and restaurants. Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. We went to almost all of the sites and then some. I highly recommend this stay and we personally intend to return more to explore the extreme eastern part os Sao Miguel as well and to visit the other islands Enjoy it

Very friendly host. We had a problem opening the door but he came right away. He left us souvenirs typical of Azores. Everything was very clean. The house was very cute and had everything. Great location.
