We were 5 friends in Espens house and enjoyed the quiet open space, the view and all the activities that the house, the dock and the nature offered. Espen was very friendly and communicative. The house and the facilities match the description. We would love to come again.

Beautiful inviting place. Per Kristian & Christine we’re very hospitable. My kids loved the wide open space, playing with their kittens, puppy, chickens and even made friends with their son. The view of the river and the green surroundings were very peaceful. Christine also brought us around her garden to share her plants and house history with us. Amazing time!

What a stunning treehouse. The view from the window, the lake and nature looked like painted. A truly magical place. The house is absolutely smartly made and very comfortably built. We came to rest very much, just as we wished. Knut André and his wife Mara prepared everything lovingly and meticulously, so we felt very comfortable and at home. There was nothing missing for us. The kitchen was great. The supply of water, gas, wood and candles was well prepared. The sauna and hot tube have rounded off our stay. Plus three days of bright sunshine. ☀️ What more could you ask for. We even transported our stuff by boat. Thank you for three unforgettable days. Maik, Isabel and Teddy 🐾

Beautiful house - was what we expected from the pictures. Scenery was unbelievable, it was quiet and private. Really wish the hot water had been working in the kitchen sink and outdoor shower. Also wish the hot tub wasn't an extra cost to use -- it should just be part of the overall price as it's one of the main draws and features in the rental description. Overall amazing, would stay again, but for the price, would want the hot water working.

Amazing place to stay! Lovely views thru the windows, loved the fire place in the living room! Very spacious house, enough space for a bigger group of people. Loved it!

School house was very comfortable for our family but we had a difficult time finding it. Key was right there so easy access and there was food and milk, orange juice, etc in refrigerator. A wonderful welcome. The accommodations were great, very clean and there was one and a half bathrooms which surprised us because it was listed as only one. We would definitely like to return and spend more time.

Very nice home located in private surroundings completely without disturbance. We felt very at home and have all the necessary things they were needed. That's why both the house and the place lived up to our expectations. Hans was a great host and quick to answer any questions. Definitely a place we could visit again 😊

The four of us had a wonderful, relaxing stay here for two nights. The house is much, much more beautiful than the photos suggest and it is equipped with really everything you need. The location is adorable, the stove spreads a cozy atmosphere and the house smells great of wood. The sauna was the cherry on the cake and a treat especially in the rain. We would come back anytime! It should be noted that you have to clean it yourself. You should plan some time for this (e.g. to wash). Thanks for the great experience!!

We, 2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs, had a wonderful week in Lise's house where nothing is missing. The view is wonderful and the tranquility is a treat! I can recommend the place to anyone without restriction. We will be happy to come back.

Wonderful host who also replied to our questions instantly, wow. The house had everything that was needed in including warm water. Great for fishing because the best fishing rivers were just 20/30 minutes away. The host was always very generous and helpful, even if we had 1000s of questions. So thank you!

This was our second visit to Royland Gard. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. Gunnar was a very helpful and friendly host. We would highly recommend this place.

Really nice cabin right by the lake. Nice view from the terrace and living room. Completely clean. Brand new kitchen. Landlord Åse on site and shows everything. Really nice with three types of boats to sail and fish on the lake. We'd love to come again. The only small minus is the slightly close location on the road which, however, is not very busy

Great place! Our second visit and we loved it!

The house was very clean and lovely decorated. It's directly located in Lillesand. Just three minutes or less to the heart of the town. Lillesand is very cozy and small but not to small to get bored. And if you want to visit a bigger city kristiansand is 30 minutes away. We can only recommend this cute house in the middle of Lillesand.

The house is beautifully situated with a stunning view. It was all there and great.

A lovely place and empty with plenty of space. Walking distance to nice Lillesand, as well as walking distance to the sports facility with both hiking trail, running track and disc golf course. Excellent location.

We thought it was a beautiful accommodation and recommended for people looking for peace and nature. You can walk there beautifully and even sail with the canoe on the lake. Bessy, the labrador, came to greet us every morning, very cozy. Magne and Lisa are fine people.

Lilli’s house is really nice, we have really enjoyed our stay. The views of the house are amazing, I truly recommend it!
