Lake house holiday rentals in Eufaula Lake

Had a wonderful weekend at the Washita Cottage! Accommodations were great and we had everything we needed and more. Wonderful location to go anywhere and everywhere in Carlton Landing on foot! Backyard was a little too soggy for our dog to enjoy but no fault of the owner, just Mother Nature giving us too many days of rain. On a drier weekend, it would have been a perfect spot to wind down in the evening with its nice seating area and fire pit and fully fenced!

Great spot for a quiet weekend getaway. Even on Labor Day it was peaceful and quiet. Worth the drive to the south side of the lake.

we absolutely loved the house and location. The views are as good as nearly any house at Carlton Landing and the porches were my wife's favorite part of the entire trip. Front porch with 2 swings, side porch with dinner table is screened in (had many meals there) and the upstairs screened in porch is the best kept secret of the house. Very clean, workout room was such a plus and proximity to pickleball/tennis/basketball court was so fun for our family. We absolutely hope to stay here again!

Very humbling and private home right on the lake. Welcoming host Sandy was very sweet and caring to answer questions or assist with anything we needed.

We had a good time. Everything was very clean and neat. Mary was great responding anytime I had a question. She let us stay a few hours longer, because our plans had changed. The only complaint we had was the boat dock was under water and we weren’t told in advance. Other than that we would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful lake house. We have a family weekend once a year with extended family driving in and this place did not disappoint. There was plenty of room for all of us, and we found it family friendly for the little ones. The king suite was amazing, I could just take the whole bathroom home with me!! The lake was unfortunately very high after a lot of rain so most of the beach was covered up, nonetheless we still found it relaxing and my little girls managed to play in the water and sand and have fun. Would love to come back again sometime!!

Gavan was always quick to reply with any questions, and it was a very peaceful home and location. It was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The rain and flooding blocked the entrance to the dock, but I can’t really blame that on Gavan. Over all a great place to stay with a big group. This is definitely on our list of “return places.”

We loved the place and how peaceful it was. Being right on the lake was wonderful. We had everything we needed and loved the fenced yard for the dogs. We definitely plan on returning sometime during the warmer months and when we can spend more time.

Everything was great! Amazing backyard area and hang out spots. Hot tub was crystal clear and amazing. Fridge had everything we needed. Loved our stay!

Quaint little home. I’ve stayed here twice now in the last 12 months and have been very happy with both visits. I initially reserved the whole house for my trip but plans changed and when it came time for the trip I didn’t need all three rooms. So I closed off one side of the house and just used one room. I love that the house has that option. The host provided very clear instructions before my arrival. There were no questions at all. The bigger side of the house has two bedrooms and one bath. One bed is super soft and the other is moderate in my opinion. I like a very soft mattress so this was perfect and super comfortable for me. The kitchen has a few non-perishable items. So that’s convenient. But I would like to have had some ice. Although there were ice trays in the freezer, they were empty. So, I had to go get a cup of ice from Sonic. The living room furniture was very comfortable. TV had Roku on it so I was able to watch TV. I would def recommend this place.

This is a great house. This is the second time our family has stayed in this house. The location is perfect - so close to the pools, the pop up shops, and restaurants. The kids love the bunk room.

I loved how clean and spacious this residence was. The only thing i would probably ask for is for there to be more trash bags to where we could throw our trash away at. Other than that I and my guests enjoyed our stay

LOVE this place!!! It was so comfortable, cozy, and still able to have the feel of vacation. We enjoyed our stay. Also very easy precise clean up instructions which made it a breeze to do our part. We will definitely be checking the availability here first when we come back to stay!!!!!

This place was exactly what the pictures showed. The beds were super comfortable and the master bathroom is so beautifully done. The backyard was shady and beautiful while still being able to get some sunlight. The little add ons we’re perfect; the swing out front, bug spray, board games, fire pit, balls and water toys! We got to watch bunny’s, birds and fireflies pass through while we sat out back. Although the beaches weren’t available due to the rain previous weekends, the guide book that was put together brought us to a cute park for our little one to play at. We enjoyed the highly recommended Mexican restaurant and got to know the locals who treated us so welcomely. Camerine was very quick to respond to us when we had questions and made the check in / check out a breeze.

This place truly is a treasure. Beautiful, secluded and peaceful. We stayed with 14 people, nine adults and 5 kids, and we did not feel the least bit cramped. Everyone had their own space to relax and the kids had a blast down in the bunk bed room. We spent most of our time on the upper porch just watching the clouds roll in over the lake. Dash and Drenda were very attentive hosts. They reached out several times to make sure our questions were answered and we knew what to expect. I recommend paying close attention to the directions they send out. This is a very rural area and the grade to get down the mountain to the cabin is steep and rocky. It was a challenge to get in and out without 4 wheel drive. We had a blast just spending the time together with family. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to escape and find some peace.

The house is very clean, seems to be recently updated, and has a fabulous back porch. The host was flexible and responsive. We were only there one night, so unfortunately we didn’t get to make much use of the space. It is a short walk from the marina. Watch out for flood waters. The house is fine up on a hill, but one of the nearby roads by the lake at the foot of the hill is entirely submerged. The only downside of the house was that the kitchen was very sparse with all plastic dishes and bowls, so if you’ll be cooking, you’ll want to bring what you need and not assume they have it.

We had such a peaceful and fun vacation! Vitality was responsive, friendly, and even offered help when I had car problems! The beach was beautiful, sandy with no rocks in the water, and shallow enough the kids could play all day. Thank you for helping us make a wonderful memory!

Great getaway! This home was exactly like pictures, very clean and well thought out to make guests feel right at home. The house is perfect for families, with thoughtful things such as a stool, bedtime story books, cozy linens, lots of games, and plenty of trash bags/laundry soap/dishwasher soap (which can sometimes be lacking! :) The view from the kitchen window is awesome, as well as the deck out back, which all overlook the lake. Hosts were communicative, very responsive, and so understanding. They honestly couldn't have been better! We had a GREAT experience and will be back!

The place was beautiful, located right on the lake. Jim & Cody were both very helpful and answered any questions I had. Amazing hosts and amazing scenery. The master bed was very comfortable and the tv in room was an added bonus. Will be staying again in the future.

Tammy was fantastic. We received a cancelation notice 2 hours before we were to arrive at another house after 3 days of driving. Tammy accomodated all of us at a moments notice. Saved our thanksgiving family reunion. The house worked out perfect for communal gatherings. The kitchen, dining, and living room were openly inviting and comfortable. Fully stocked. Clean. The bedrooms spacious. The setting was fantastic. Thank you Tammy.
