The Gîte is inside the property but totally independent. You have access to the garden. It has a south-facing terrace that is not overlooked and another to the west, equipped with garden furniture. From 06/01 to 09/15, depending on weather conditions, you can enjoy the heated pool. We provide linens: sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels. You're in a cul-de-sac with no traffic. Very nice house, sufficiently well arranged and equipped to leave space for everyone, while at the same time offering common activities. The "garden" side, which is completely enclosed, is safe for children, even at a young age, as long as the pool is properly closed. The latter is heated and can be covered or uncovered at will, offering good flexibility to spend the entire stay there. The neighbourhood is quiet and nice. The market, a very good bakery, a butcher shop and the supermarket are all within walking distance with young children. To my knowledge, all my guests, children and adults, had a great stay.

A lovely place for four sisters to enjoy our time together. The upstairs bedrooms and shower are accessible by a narrow spiral staircase which makes that area off limits for persons with mobility issues. The downstairs bedroom, partially in the cave, is lovely.

We were a little nervous about the booking as our messages to Lilian the day before and day of arrival received no response. However when we arrived an hour early it was clear that Lilian is extremely busy renovating the main house and grounds. He was friendly and welcoming, kindly allowing us an early check in. The space is rustic and clean and the photos are accurate. The bed was enormous and comfortable. Even though you are in the garden of a family home the space was private. It was a great place to stay for the night on our long distance walk. Thanks Lilian and family.

I had to stay in Europe for a month, so I visited with my wife. I used it for the first time after remodeling, and the house was so pleasant. Marie was kind enough to drive me and my wife to the next destination. The location of the accommodation is about 10 km from the center of Tours. We recommend that you check the transportation in advance. There is a bus from Tours to the accommodation, but the bus from Tours to Boubray stops at around 8pm. We recommend that you rent an international driver's license or bicycle. Marie and Pierre were really kind, grateful, and thankful hosts. We recommend that you try many wines in Vouvray, which is famous for its white wine.
