Second time here. No issues and perfect for what we needed. Interested in renting over the summer. Cute area!

The space is cozy and perfect for a nature retreat. Communication was clear and I was easily able to contact Jean-Thomas when I had trouble finding the place (in the middle of a snowstorm, I must say!). The surrounding trails are beautiful and well maintained!

wonderful place. we absolutely loved our stay. we both felt that we could easily live in this cabin for a few months! surprisingly my favourite part was the showers. It felt luxurious with its wooden design and the water was quite warm, I was in there for a good 5-10 minutes and it never got cold. I also want to note that the toilet are the cleanest and scent-less compost toilets I have come across so far. would recommend and would stay again!

The location of the small chalet is perfect! Away from everything but close to the parking lot... We found the accommodation quite easily thanks to the small signs installed! The latter is very well equipped. Despite a rainy weekend, we took refuge inside! Equipped with a deck of cards and a good bottle of wine :) Very relaxing and refreshing place. We loved it!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were off season and François accommodated our change of cottage for a better view.

A perfect getaway! Super quiet location, people were camping nearby but it still felt quite separate. The Ecorefuge was steps away from where I parked and right by the shower and bathrooms, which was super convenient. Reception was spotty but you could get a text out and you could call someone if you walk a little down the road. No running water but Simon supplied more than enough for your kitchen needs. Cooler was big enough to fit everything. There was one plug for phones, and more than enough lighting. It was right by Mount Orford National Park and near a main road in Magog with plenty of cute coffee spots. I really enjoyed my stay. I recommend to anyone!

Absolutely beautiful area and gorgeous home that is meticulously maintained! If you want a place to stay that is away from it all you can’t bear this home. It was very clean. There is Owls Head golf course just down the road which is beautiful with spectacular view and a great restaurant. There is a small grocery store very close in Mansonville along with a nice coffee shop and another great restaurant. Honestly just driving around the dirt roads in Mansonville, Potton and Highwater will literally take your breath away, the views are unmatched. There is plenty to do within 30-60 minutes (especially if you like the outdoors) but why would you ever want to leave this place. If you need somewhere to get away and clear your head look no further, this is it!

Excellent stay and absolutely beautiful location. Clean and modern space with top notch appliances. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The scenery is spectacular and the Airbnb is a wonderful space to relax, disconnect from the busyness of the day-to-day and enjoy the benefits of being in nature.

This is a magical place. If you need a rejuvenating retreat by yourself or with someone you love, this is the place. Every bit is intentional and feels thoughtful. The reading/bath area is so beautiful and sitting with a cup of coffee, candle burning, bubble bath, and a book, I felt like I was in a movie. Valérie and Bruno are also very helpful with questions or recommendations we needed. If you’re looking for a place with stuff to do near by, this isn’t the place, but if you want a cozy cottage feel romantic get away, there isn’t a better place.

Beautiful stay in the Mégantic region, perfect cottage for a small family or 2-3 people wishing to spend a few days in nature, along the route des sommets!

Great and respectful host, answered us quickly and made himself as available whenever we needed anything.

Had a really great stay at Station Chêne Rouge in a square cabin! The cabin was beautiful with floor to ceiling windows to take in the forest view from inside (and from bed). We were provided with everything we needed while maintaining the escape that we were looking for. Would love to come back!

Stephane's cottage was charming and clean. It is also close to so many great destinations for hiking and sightseeing. Highly recommend!

Jade's place is absolutely beautiful. We had the best time visiting for the weekend and hope to return this summer. The house itself is stacked with all you could need and more. We very much enjoyed both the indoor / outdoor fireplaces and the hottub. The screened in porch area is wonderful with heaters as well. We loved the floor to ceiling windows and found ourselves looking forward to coming back to the house after a day of adventuring. Jade was very helpful, accommodating to our extra requests, and provided excellent instructions to the house. 100% recommend staying here!

Such a beautiful spot to stay! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt right at home. Everything was clean and well kept. The kitchen had everything to make meals. Beautiful outside sitting area (unfortunately it rained while we were there and didn’t get to use it). The hosts were very responsive. All in all, a great Airbnb. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed ourselves! Truly a unique experience and one we have already shared with many people encouraging them to check it out. Food/dining wasn’t crystal clear to us but there is an IGA 15m away and that was perfect. It may be specific to many Canadian Airbnbs but definitely be prepared to take care of a few things prior to your checkout and allow time for that. We look forward to planning a summer trip here and checking out the lovely lake!

A place where peace and serenity are in order! All amenities live up to the most beautiful locations designed in the woods! Hosts who are very attentive and very present to our writings if needed! What to say … I highly recommend!! Isabelle , May 2025

We had a pleasant time, despite the rain. We took the opportunity to use the Spa and sauna. Located +/- 20 minutes from the surrounding cities, I find the chalet to be well located. Our host contacted us as soon as we arrived and we felt that he was there to accompany us throughout our stay. Thanks!

Our stay was very nice at Laura's place. The setting was great, the place very clean and the amenities of the place convenient. Small negative point is the size of the fireplace. We had brought our logs but they didn't fit into the fireplace because of its small size.
