Holiday rentals in Erlaufsee

We were very satisfied with everything. We kept in touch with the host from the time of booking until the day of departure, he was available throughout, and helped with everything. We also received program and restaurant tips from him in the neighborhood. We arrived late at night, but that was not a problem, we could easily take the key from a box. Cute surprises awaited us on the table and Nespresso coffee was prepared. The accommodation completely enchanted us, it offered us more than a 5-star hotel. Spacious rooms and spaces, pharmacy cleanliness, good equipment and comfort. We were able to connect perfectly here, the building and its surroundings are characterized by tranquility and silence. The center of Mariazell can be reached from here in 20 minutes by a pleasant walk. In addition, there are also recreational opportunities for rainy days at the accommodation: Netflix, board games, a hot tub in the garden, a sauna in the neighboring building (2 euros/20 minutes). I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, the best accommodation we've ever been to!

We stayed on the alm in the house for a whole week and we would have liked to have stayed forever! In our time, you can hardly find such lonely, nature-loving places. During the day there is a lot to experience in the area, the lake, the ötschergräben. In the evening, absolute tranquility returns, from the house you can't discover a single light on the horizon, it is absolutely quiet, but the sky above us as close and clear as nowhere else. We will definitely be back! A heartfelt thank you to Dunja and Anton for making all this possible!

This new house has an artistic, minimalist architecture with a soothing, calming atmosphere. We appreciated the lack of superfluous items or kitschy decorations. The house is surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The view was fantastic, no TV needed. The cozy sleeping places were high quality and had large duvets. There was a lot of peace, although the only neighboring house was sometimes being built. Since it was light in the morning in May, one of us had too few options for darkening. The host really cares about his guests, he was always proactive, very helpful and responsive. We traveled without a car and for the last kilometers it worked well with the call bus (phone or app). The on-call bus has certain operating times and a time lead. Under certain conditions, some trips are even free (taxis are horrendously expensive).

From the very beginning, we felt welcome and at home. With great attention to detail, surrounded by beautiful nature. Thank you for this opportunity and your hospitality! We will be happy to come back.

We were very warmly welcomed by Melitta and her family and felt very welcome. The communication beforehand was super fast and straightforward to find the house easily despite its seclusion. The house is cozy, lovingly furnished and equipped with all amenities (including internet and TV for any rainy evenings). The garden is simply fantastic and invites you to linger - you almost don't want to explore the area anymore because you don't want to miss a second in the accommodation. The location of the house is ideal for excursions in the Ötscher area. A bathing day or two at the Erlauf is also possible - even on foot if you like. In nearby gaming, you will also find all the shops serving daily needs and a top regional shop with delicacies from the area. We will definitely be back!

We originally rented the tiny house for three days to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city - but in the end we stayed two days longer because we liked it so much! The house is beautifully and secluded on a hillside. Apart from cows and numerous other animals, you can enjoy absolute peace and pure nature there. Everything was impeccably clean, and the facilities offer everything you need for a few relaxing days in nature – from dishes to barbecue and cooking utensils. The hosts, Alex and Michael, as well as their family, are incredibly warm, available at any time for questions and immediately on hand in case of problems. In summary, this tiny house was one of the most extraordinary and beautiful accommodations we have ever visited – absolutely recommended! A big thank you to Alex and Michael - we will definitely be back soon!

It is definitely an indescribable experience, just absolute peace, and it has a great charm. In this area, it is worth hiking, then heading to the hut and letting your soul wander. Absolutely recommended and we will definitely come back!!!!
