The 50 square meter wooden house is in a quiet location on the outskirts and was awakened from its Sleeping Beauty slumber with a lot of love for detail. You will stay on the first floor of the newly converted farm building of an old farm. Large garden with paddock and 3 horses on a small stream. Don't be afraid of free-range chickens and our herding dog Jule. There is a bookable sauna and a small swimming pool. Seating area with fireplace in the garden free of charge. Cost for sauna is an additional €15 per sauna session for 2 people only by arrangement on site. Walking with the horses can also be booked.

We had a really nice stay at this place and can absolutely recommend it! The communication with the host was great from the start: fast, friendly and helpful. The view from the apartment was fantastic and everything corresponded exactly to the photos! It was almost everything perfect for a relaxing stay. A few small details would have rounded off the experience: the apartment didn't get quite as warm as we would have liked, and a few small things like a squeezer in the shower, a damper for the toilet lid, and an egg picker in the kitchen would have increased comfort. Despite these little notes, we would book this place again at any time and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a nice time with great views.

This apartment is perfect for being within a few minutes walk to beautiful, historic, old city Michelstadt but also for being in a quiet, homey neighborhood. It’s also a 2 minute walk from a great grocery store. The apartment is cozy, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. My husband and I were very happy with it. Usch and her husband were the most responsive and thoughtful hosts we have had. We can’t say enough good things about them, their sweet apartment and their beautiful town.

We had been looking for accommodation for 2 families with two children, a toddler and a baby + grandma for our Easter vacation in the Odenwald and found it with Verena. The communication was great from the beginning, the apartment wonderfully divided. The rooms were as shown on the pictures and in the description. Everything was totally clean, so you could feel comfortable quickly. The kitchen was equipped with enough dishes for many people, really great. However, the morning highlight was the coffee from the Jura coffee machine, which we now miss back home. Verena was so sweet and had also provided two high chairs for children, so even the little ones could sit at the table. And UN cards were also taken care of. So overall a great place to stay, we will be happy to come back. PS. We highly recommend the brewery in Michelstadt - were there 2 times. Very tasty food and attentive, child-friendly service.

M & E are super friendly and accommodating hosts. Fast, clear and open communication in advance and on arrival on site. The accommodation is as described, very quiet, spacious and yet in the middle of the city - perfect. Everything within walking distance. The warm, family atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home. There is nothing missing in the accommodation. Everything in well-maintained, perfect condition and therefore absolutely recommended. Will be back next year for sure.
