super quiet location, from the bedroom/living room and from the kitchen overlooking the alpine panorama, in the apartment all decent quality (great bed, kitchen with oven, induction stove with matching pan, pots; you can cook very well here; very good lighting, socket adapter in the closet; electrically adjustable small desk; very good heating options in all rooms, cozy seating both in the kitchen and in the living room, noble TV (with hundreds of programs; via the search function but also from German media libraries stored there), free parking right in front of the front door (free of charge, because Martina digitally covers the parking costs). In the house otherwise "normal" Swiss roommates, so no holiday apartment house. Very good Wi-Fi. The living and bedroom very cozy, a place to feel good. Relaxed neighbors (with benches in front of the front door). Would happily come again.

Great experience. We’re from Texas. The place has amazing views and we use it as a hub to go to different countries nearby via driving and then train to Milan. And It has almost all the best Switzerland can offer you too - the mountains, lake and villages.. all great.

Nina is a wonderful host. She is proactive, flexible, kind, and responsive. She had everything we needed in the apartment. The apartment is a beautiful large efficiency apartment with a full kitchen in a peaceful neighborhood in a small town that is on a lake. Bed is comfortable and shower is amazing. There is no air conditioner and no washing machine in the unit. There are lots of great hikes for nature lovers and the lovers of peace and tranquility. It would be easier if you had a car to get around but there is ample public transportation; there are buses and boats which will take you to the train station or other nearby towns. We love to walk and you can walk the entire town of Weesen which is about 1.5 or 2 miles. There is only one grocery store in town which is about 20 minutes walk or about 1 mile away. But you can always take the bus. The bus stop is about a block away. Thank you dear Nina for your kind hospitality. We felt at home. We will definitely return.

Sandra is an incredible host! Her beautiful home in this stunning location felt like a vacation while being on vacation. When we informed her we would be leaving very early in the morning, she made sure our breakfast was set up in the evening, so we could eat before they woke up, which was absolutely lovely! When we go back to Switzerland, it will definitely be at Sandra’s place!

An exceptional place to stay. Perfect for a short stay. Everything was as described and very clean. The communication with Rolf/Anna was great.

We had a super nice stay with the family in Herisau. They also felt right at home. The house is a great size also with children. Especially with the garden you have a very nice holiday there. You can play barbecue outside or just watch TV a great view and super much peace and a parking space everything you need. The apartment is also super equipped with games also in the kitchen. There's nothing missing. Very very clean everything. We will be happy to come back.

Our second trip to Switzerland and this was our first stop on the trip. We were blown away with the view! This place has it all. Views out of every window, radiant heat, hiking trails galore and everything you need for comfort. The duvets were like giant, soft puffy clouds! There is a restaurant literally right outside your door and nothing else but trails to different locations. Be mindful that the gondola to get here on runs from 8:30am-5-30pm so plan accordingly or you'll have a grueling 1.5-2 hour walk from the bottom. You cannot get here by car. We loved that part! Another pro tip - The 10 minute walk from the gondola to the cottage is a gravel road. We had to drag our suitcases to and from. It's uphill back to the gondola. But none of that will matter when you see the views from the gravel path and the living room window! This place is heaven on earth. Bettina was always quick to respond and super friendly. She made everything seamless! Book it!!

Karin’s apartment was perfect for our 3 week stay. We had all the amenities we could possibly need from a fully stocked kitchen to laundry detergent, coffee and spices, and very comfortable beds/linens. Karin went above and beyond to provide our 6 year old with toys and a play space. She also communicated with me promptly each time I had a question. The apartment was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and in a perfect location to access the train, hiking trails, and all that Glarus and Ennenda have to offer. I would highly recommend and will be staying here again on our next visit.
