Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Emu Bay

Perfect spot away from most of civilisation. There is a little traffic directly past the house to another house on the property which did surprise me a little bit. Beach is very kid friendly and a perfect place to watch sunset. Some things in the house could use a little bit of an upgrade like the old gas oven to which the igniter doesn’t work on, hard to use tongs, or unable to hotspot phone to the tv. Even though off the main path, not too far away from most places. Great stay

Had an absolute brilliant stay. There was some confusion and the house was not clean when we checked-in but it was immediately resolved by Gen and we have no complaints. We highly recommend this property and the hosts are lovely. Keep up the good work.

The Surf Shack is a wonderful, off-the-grid getaway, within walking distance of beautiful Stokes Bay beach. We made friends with the wildlife and enjoyed cosy fires. Thanks so much for being our home away from home during our fabulous week away on Kangaroo Island!

Another fabulous stay at Deep Creek Retreat. The warm fire on our arrival was very welcoming and appreciated after travelling in stormy weather. We love to stroll around the beautiful garden with our dog. Thankyou for sharing the rewards of your hard work with us!

My Island Home is a wonderful hideaway for large friend or family groups. Plenty of space for the kids to stretch their legs after a long drive, wonderful amenities for the whole family, the house is very clean and tidy, homely fashion and we would definitely stay here again. Whilst the house is accurately described in the ad, it is hard to grasp the actual spaciousness on offer, with 11 people holidaying, not once did we feel cramped. The back verandah with BBQ and large dining space was a hit and an easy way to eat in such a large group. And let’s not forget the local visitors, lovely family of Roos to greet you each morning on the front lawn. Thank you Tamara for your kindness, communication and allowing us to enjoy the wonders of your home.

The house was really comfortable and we felt right at home. The north-facing windows in the loungeroom gave us a beautiful outlook onto a natural bush setting with the occasional kangaroo grazing. The north facing deck was a lovely spot to have coffee in the morning sitting at the outdoor table setting. A wood heater inside kept us very cosy. Loved the position of this place which is right next to the national park and a two minute walk to the bay. We would love to return.

Very stylish beach shack that’s well equiped and in a unique and beautiful location. We really loved the garden and open spaces. Our host was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Liz was a brilliant host being super friendly and helpful. Liz made it feel like she just wanted us to enjoy our holiday and was more than willing to help in any way she could. The accommodation was spotless with all the amenities that you could need plus all of the little things you may have forgotten to pack was there. Marion bay is a beautiful spot for a slow and relaxing holiday plenty of beautiful scenery. 10/10 would highly recommend

My partner and I had a fantastic last minute two night stay at Rachel's. She was very accommodating and helpful on facilitating us staying at short notice. The unit had a beautiful view of the water and was very comfortable, tidy, and well equipped with modern amenities. There were thoughtful touches throughout the place - it was clear the hosts had put in extra effort to make guests feel special. We enjoyed a rejuvenating stay and lovely food and drinks in easy walking distance. We'd happily recommend staying at Rachel's place and would visit again in a heartbeat.

Stunning place in the heart of Penneshaw. Short drive from the ferry, walking distance to the pub, supermarket & local cafes. Tourist office right across the road. It was so clean & tidy, every thing was available for a wonderful stay. BBQ on the deck overlooking the beautiful water, was our favorite pastime. Ellie was super helpful with our check out & we loved our stay here.

Neil’s place was perfect. Great location. Exactly as described. Fluffy towels, comfy bed and great air conditioning. The welcome chocolates were an added bonus. Thanks Neil. We highly recommend your granny flat.

This stay was a dream! The interior was stunning and felt right at home. Owners were also responsive on time and welcoming.

Our 2 br unit was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. Close enough to the town centre - supermarket and cafes and worked well as a base for the rest of the island. Kirsty made contact during our week's stay to make sure we had all we needed and we sure did.
