As well as business overnight stays, there is a 5-minute drive from the A-7 in the direction of various major cities. We provide a luxurious, varied breakfast, where we use the fresh local products and natural the fresh free-range pipes of our own chickens.

The Golden Island is located in the annex of a beautiful city villa at the edge of the historic village center of Parkstad Veendam. This neighborhood is known as The Golden Island, a villa neighborhood with homes built in the period 1910-1930. The Golden Island is set in a quiet leafy neighborhood with tall oak trees and wide streets. The apartment has a private entrance, patio with seat, kitchen, wc shower, king size bed (2x 90/210) and is luxuriously finished.

A nice, cozy little house on the edge of the old center. Fully furnished, comfortable and fully equipped. Can be booked for a short or longer stay. On the first day, a partly organic, self-service breakfast will be ready for you. Supermarket nearby is at Meeuwerderweg 96-98 (open until 10 p.m./Sunday 8 p.m.) The B&B does not have its own parking space. Not far and the cheapest option is the Oosterpoort parking garage - street name is Trompsingel 23.

What's "On his Swedish"? A fully furnished cozy house (former living area of the farm) with its own entrance, full of comforts and also wheelchair accessible. Plenty of opportunities to stay privately outside the house. Extras which we offer for a fee: - Groceries when you prefer not to do so yourself during these times. - Provide a warm meal that will be presented in the B&B.

It has its own private entrance, a private terrace and a place for you to sit along the water so you can enjoy the peace this monumental village brings you. Welcome! Bed &Breakfast 'Mekelermeer' is a nice stay for 2 persons included breakfast. ckeck in is after 14.00 h. check out is round 12.00 h. 2 nights is the minimum stay. The interior is very cosy. You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .

The Waddenland has a lot to offer, and you can reach the boat to Schiermonnikoog in fifteen minutes. The city of Groningen itself can also be reached within half an hour.
