Very friendly owner, spacious house. We had a good stay during rainy weekend. Beautiful hikes and not too far to Elverum.

We had a great time and were able to relax very much. Communication went very well, and the landlady was always helpful. Thank you for everything, we'd love to come back!

We were a group of 6 travelling from Australia and spent a bit over a week at Maren’s place just outside of Elverum. The accomodation was very well presented, spacious and had comfortable beds. It was a very lovely touch that Maren had baked us fresh bread for our arrival. Maren was there to greet us and always responsive to any questions we had.

We had a great time at Trude's cozy and charming house. Recommended!

We were passing through from northern Norway for a night at Lars'. Everything was great, we will always make a stopover with him.

We rented the house to Julie and Andreas in connection with the Elverum Yngres Cup and do not regret the election for a second. The house is located perfectly for mtp logistics for the halls. The big house did not disappoint and the outdoor area was used extensively until the box runs, kubb and turning between matches. The house was clean and tidy with good layout. Would definitely recommend renting here! Thanks for us!

For four families with small children looking for a place where adults and children could have a good time together through a weekend, Idavollen was a great place to be. It was cozy in the living room/dining room and well arranged for serving many people with good solutions for this, effectively in the kitchen with an industrial washing machine and cooling room, magical with a hall for play and movie night, clean and inviting bathrooms and showers, spacious hallway for dressing and drying clothes, several zones for play or relaxation in front of a fireplace, fit indoor temperature with nice opportunities to look at with heat from the fireplace, many rooms with the possibility of splitting between and inside families and light with low threshold skiing (not prepared, but more than enough for the children) and Aking right outside and the fire pit right outside. The host was nice, generous and welcoming. Thank you very much for your stay. We would gladly came again.

Lovely cabin in a super location. Space for the extended family, we were 11 with small and large, and well adapted for small children. Lots of available board games, lots of cooling opportunities, great patio and two good bathrooms were what stood out especially for us. Absolutely great for us that there was the possibility of electric car charging. Short distance to both Elverum, Hamar and Brumunddal with lots of possibilities. Great hiking areas around the cabin.

A beautiful and quiet house. Jeanette takes care of her guests and we lacked nothing.

We went to Kristian's place for the second time. It is a great house with many possibilities such as the jacuzzi and sauna. The kitchen is very well equipped, we cooked deliciously. Furthermore, we have done all kinds of activities at Max 1.5 hours: snowmobile safari at Villa Fregn, skiing in Trysil, shopping in Elverum, cross-country skiing at the house, sledding in Fulufjellet and of course sledding at the house with Kristian's sleds. A blissful holiday that can be repeated again!

Really cozy and spacious place. I can imagine this is an amazing place for families. It has a Jacuzzi which is very easy to use. I know me and my friend group loved it. If you want to save money when renting a cabin, driving those 30min to Trysil is nothing. Remember to treat this place like your own or else you simply won’t be renting anywhere. I would also like to add up that Arnfinn is an amazing host and responds very quickly. Thank you Arnfinn for letting us stay at your place. Next time I’m most likely to bring my family too 😁

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s a stunning property in a stunning location. We stayed in winter and the snowy scenery was a dream. The property was so warm and inviting, we never wanted to leave. Gunhild is a fantastic host who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend this cabin with Gunhild.
