This place is a such a gem. If you're looking to disconnect for a bit, i recommend staying at Bente's place. While you do have to walk into the main house to use the bathroom, wifi, washer, etc, staying in boathouse is so peaceful and for me, a much needed disconnect. I loved watching the boats go by in the fjord while reading a book and sipping on a cup of tea.

Staying at this farmhouse lovingly cared for by Liv & Bertie was a magical and rewarding experience beyond just staying at a “place”. I was personally greeted by Bertie on a very rainy night and welcomed by a fire he’d started for me. After 30 plus hours of travel that was a wonderful start to my adventure which only got better with each day! Not only will you have half a farmhouse to yourself, you will also have a gorgeous sitting area in the yard outside overlooking the bay and far off mountains with munching sheep and horses for company just beyond the fence. Take a walk down the dirt road and you’ll find a beautiful small beach. Time moves at a different pace here…but if you’re visiting in the summer, the days never end anyway! The spacious and cheerful kitchen has everything you need. The bathroom is small but very nicely renovated and appointed. Towels and sheets very nice quality. And this place is immaculate! Not a speck of dust! WiFi can be a bit weak. I never wanted to leave!

Thank you, Paul, for having us at your very special place. The location is truly amazing, and the house itself is exceptional—full of character, thoughtful details, and incredible craftsmanship. We had a wonderful time. Although we weren’t able to explore the area as much as we’d hoped due to feeling unwell, simply staying at your place was more than enough. Admiring the magical view through the large window, listening to the birds in the early morning, and watching the ever-changing clouds over the mountains was an experience in itself. Every glance outside offered something new—just magical. The house was so comfortable and beautifully designed. Just perfect. I can’t wait to come back again in the future—hopefully next time we’ll be able to explore the surrounding area as well.

Drømmeplassen ist eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, die mit ihrem einzigartigen Charme und ihrer gemütlichen Atmosphäre beeindruckt. Die Lage ist idyllisch und bietet eine perfekte Mischung aus Ruhe und Naturverbundenheit. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die einzigartige Aussicht direkt auf naturbelassene Umgebung, den Ozean, sowie die Tiere die dort zu beobachten sind. Die Sauberkeit und die Ausstattung der Unterkunft tragen zusätzlich dazu bei, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Wer auf der Suche nach einem unvergesslichen Aufenthalt ist, wird Drømmeplassen lieben!

Ganz spontan sind wir auf Kristins Unterkunft gestoßen. Wir waren nur wenige Kilometer entfernt und wollten mal raus aus unserem Camper. Dort angekommen konnten wir unser Glück kaum fassen. Wir wurden auf das herzlichste von Kristin begrüßt und wussten sofort, dass wir tolle zwei Tage verbringen würden. Das Haus haben wir super sauber vorgefunden, es ist gut ausgestattet, es ist ordentlicher Druck auf der Wasserleitung, sodass man die Dusche genießen kann, der Garten oder besser gesagt Park, wird mit Liebe gepflegt. Kinder können schaukeln und rutschen, Hunde können herumtollen und man selbst legt sich in die Hengematte und lauscht dem Meer. Wir waren im Juni da. Die Sonne ging kurz vor Mitternacht feuerrot vor uns unter. Zum Meer sind es nur ein paar Schritte. Man erreicht das Wasser über den Garten. Wir danken Dir Kristin für Deine Gastfreundschaft und sind sehr glücklich, dass wir diesen Ort zufällig gefunden haben. Wir würden jeden Weg auf uns nehmen um bei Dir Urlaub zu machen!

Man konnte sich sehr gut erholen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Tankstelle war in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Hütte ist top ausgestattet. Die Umgebung ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen mit Blick auf den Fjord. Wir hatten 3 verschiedene Boote zur Auswahl und konnten uns tagesaktuell entscheiden, welches wir nehmen. Wenn es ein Problem gab, wurde uns vor Ort weitergeholfen. Tipps für Angelspots wurden uns auch genau beschrieben und gezeigt. Rundum ein sehr gelungener Urlaub. Wir kommen gern wieder.
