This is a cozy little private space located in a small Volga German community known for the St. Fidelis Catholic Church, or "The Cathedral of the Plains," built from 1908-1911. The parish was was declared a minor basilica in 2014 and is one of the "Eight Wonders of Kansas." Victoria is located approximately halfway between KC and Denver and just a mile from I-70. It's a great place to stay the night and still be able to ski the slopes of Colorado the next afternoon if that is your destination.

The Space Small and charming 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin style house completely remodeled in 2016. Guest access Entire house. Other Notes Cabin has floor furnace and is not ideal for crawling toddlers.

Come and enjoy our many animal friends, pick up a brush or help us feed! You may also be treated to our boarders exercising horses while here. AQ house is a old small independent house and renovated in 2023. It located in Hays center, walking distance to FHSU, water park, strip mall, restaurants... And it is simple ，only one master bedroom in total, one living room and one kitchen. And the basement is storage room (the door to the basement is locked). So no need to share except with the person you are traveling with. Parking : one free driveway parking in the front yard (18' Lx9'W ).

New place to stay

Pershing Place

Emily’s place was great for our family. It was newly remodeled and clean. I would stay there again. We enjoyed sitting out back on the little patio in the evening. Do know that it’s on a one way narrow street.

This was the second time we stayed at Chad & Cynthia’s place. They are wonderful hosts and let us shelter at their house while thunderstorms passed through the area. The place is absolutely beautiful and we look forward to staying there again in the future.

Whispering Wind Cabin

We stayed here on both our way to and from Colorado. The home is so nice and the surroundings are so peaceful. I really appreciated the clean, well kept fenced in yard for our dogs. The views at sunset were outstanding and my boys fell in love with the horses and the upstairs loft where they slept. There were games for them to play as well. I fell in love with the quilts! So stunning! We also loved the sweet rolls left for us to enjoy. We enjoyed both of our stays and would definitely recommend it.
