Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Elk Grove

Stayed here with my fur babies and husband for almost a week. The home was perfectly set up for us. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary amenities. The backyard was fully fenced and had plenty of space for the pups. The home is in a great neighborhood and just down the street from some great restaurants. If we ever return to the area we will stay again.

First of all, the pictures don’t do it justice for how spacious it is. It’s in a new housing development and it’s peaceful and as a pet owner, sidewalks and pathways a plenty. There is a lot of construction in the area but nothing is heard inside the home. Overall, a nice place to stay. Safe, quiet and truly pet friendly. I’d stay again if needed. It was also a great location for remote work. The one thing I will say is that for a new home, there is quite a bit of wear and tear (which is why I suspect there is so much warning about parties). There also are not a lot of touches/comforts of home. No kitchen hand towels and I had to buy a can opener. The thermostat was also locked which on hot days 100+ is kind of a bummer. There was only one window that had a curtain, which window coverings would help keep the house cooler and more effective AC.

We would definitely book this place again if we come back to the area. The entire house was clean, the mattress, pillows and bedding was comfortable, this place has all the amenities essential for a comfortable stay. The pool was such a treat, they also provided pool towels. We would 100% recommend this airbnb.

A ton of space, everything you need, beds are really comfortable and things for the kids to do. Highly recommend

Jan was an excellent host, and his place was very cozy and peaceful. I was looking forward to spending some time away from work in a nice, relaxing, and quiet place; Jan’s place MORE than delivered. I couldn’t have been more happy with my stay, and Jan’s great hospitality and communication made it even better. Would absolutely book here again.

Mona's place is exactly as described - cozy! My family and I felt comfortable and right at home in her house. Instructions to get inside were clear and simple. Mona's house is conveniently near I5 and right off a main street, making it easy to get to food and groceries , or even a quick drive up to Sacramento. Her house was clutter free and welcoming. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in the area.

The house was incredibly clean and the furniture was comfortable. My family truly enjoyed their stay. It’s very very energy-efficient. For example, the lights will turn off while using the restroom. There are cameras and sensors throughout the home. They are designed to enhance security, but made me feel like my family and I were being monitored. The house offers everything one might need. The kitchen is well-equipped. There were plenty of bathroom amenities. Each room is furnished nicely. Overall, this was a very clean and comfortable place to stay.

Such a terrific house for our large extended family attending a wedding from out of state. The many rooms and baths were terrific and Alfonso was very easy to work with!

I've stayed at Ryan’s place every time I’m in town for business—it’s my go-to spot. This little apartment has everything you need: a peaceful vibe, reliable internet for working remotely, and it’s just a short walk to the center of town. The street is beautiful and tree-lined, which adds to the charm and it has an off street parking spot. But what really makes it special are the hosts—Ryan and Carolyn are warm, welcoming, and always make me feel at home. Always a pleasure to stay here. Highly recommended.

Easy to get in and clean and ready has things you need

This apartment was perfectly located one block from where my dad resides in assisted living. The bed was super comfy as was the sofa! I will definitely be returning!

We loved Tom and Oksana’s apartment. It was charming, comfortable, and well appointed, clean, safe, and close to everything. We were in town for a concert at Channel 24 and were pleased to discover that if we had the time we could have walked from their place to the restaurant where we had dinner and then onto the venue. Fantastic! We’ll definitely book with Tom and Oksana the next time we’re in Sacramento.

Great spot to crash for a few days! Place was as described, and the desk in the bedroom was appreciated to get some work done. Finding street parking was never an issue, especially late at night. We could hear some noise from the neighbors when the windows were open, but it wasn’t disruptive, just apartment living. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it looked reasonably stocked enough.

Absolutely loved staying here! Hosts were very responsive and incredibly kind. The location was great, my friend and I walked to several restaurants. We truly enjoyed relaxing outside and their leather couch is incredibly comfortable. If you want to play the pinball machine make sure you bring plenty of quarters! Lovely bathroom but if you are a self conscious person might be beneficial to bring some poo-pourri. Dish rack and rags are under the sink for easy storage. If you are Door Dashing food be very clear with your delivery instructions haha Thanks again for letting us stay in your lovely home! It was perfect!

This was an absolutely incredible experience. This beautiful space is nuzzled inside the heart of midtown. It feels way bigger than the pictures suggest and I guarantee you’ll feel right at home. The check-in process was a breeze and Alex was super responsive.

The overall stay was good, but the linens and towels were few. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to prepare a meal. however, the washer had an issue, there were a loud clicking sound when in use. also there was a strange smell downstairs, we figured it was something in the locked closet. finally, the wreath on the front door has a bird's nest in there, so when opening the door one night the bird flew into the front bathroom, we were able to get it out very quickly. someone should take care of that, don't want the little bird to get hurt.

was pretty cozy and close to old sacramento and downtown. right next to the freeway but if you closed the windows you cant hear it at all!

overall as described. very comfortable with all amenities. it’s a home away from home!

This condo is a clean and well decorated one bedroom, one bathroom second floor unit. Bogdan is a very thoughtful host, there were extra blankets, sheets, and towels, which were appreciated for my weeklong stay. I also noticed condiments and single serve coffee creamers were provided along with a small basket of books/toys in the laundry closet if you have a child visiting/staying with you. The location is in a very nice area, close to both shopping and restaurants. I thought the bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic, and I also really liked that the entrance’s door lock code was tailored to me personally, making it easy for me to remember and difficult for others to figure out. I’d recommend staying here, and definitely book again.

Mony's place was very clean and beautiful. It is located in a charming housing complex, and is a few minutes walk to a shopping mart and various restaurants. The complex has a gym, which made working out during my stay very convenient. I'd be very happy to stay here again on my next visit.

I had a wonderful stay at Douglas’s penthouse. Everything was very clean, the kitchen had everything I needed, and all amenities worked perfectly. The location is amazing and ideal for walking to the many restaurants and shops in town. Parking was easy and he was very communicative throughout my stay. I would absolutely return, thank you Douglas!

Robyn is a great host, she was proactive and always very responsive. The home is very well equipped and clean. The openness via the patio doors in each room was all the fresh air we needed, there was rarely a need for the a/c. The area itself is very centrally located, with events for the public held at least a few times a week that are within walking distance. We would definitely return when visiting the area again.

Stayed here while my Mom went in for major surgery at Kaiser Morse. Perfect location for our base only 6-8 minutes away. We were able to visit 3 times a day and weren’t exhausted from commuting an hour + one way. Secure parking spots.
