Joshua's place is very spacious, located right in the center of town, comfortable and decorated very nicely just like the pictures. While we were in town, we were always visiting family and friends so we didn't have time to explore or try out any restaurants, even the café downstairs. Next time, hopefully we will!

The place was a lovely and super peaceful stay. Quiet neighborhood with a nice background noise of wind chimes, noticeably fresh air, and overall very relaxing. I would love to see it again, perfect stay.

We had a perfect stay! We stayed while visiting family in the area for the weekend, and having a comfy place of our own with a nice, big, **fully fenced!** yard for our dogs was so appreciated! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, there is a cute, private little fire pit/grilling area and patio for enjoying the outdoors, and the house had everything we needed. We hope to be able to stay again soon! :)

Came in for a friend’s wedding, and this had everything we needed! Comfortable living and nice common space for all of us to hang out. Some of the doors were hard to open/close, but that didn’t affect the overall experience. Would stay here again!

Everything as expected. Quiet corner of the neighborhood. Easy to get in and out. Worked well for staging several long hikes in Allegheny Natl, Cooks Forest, and Quehanna areas. Nice assortment of local guides available. Kitchen was larger than most ABB we've stayed at. Bathroom had everything; although, if you're over 6' you'll need to bend over a little to get under the shower head. All in all, this was a great place to stay and Dan was on top of communicating at all times. No regrets at all. *** Joey's bakery nearby has amazing donuts, pastries, and cookies - as well as solid breakfast food and coffee. The local grocery store is exceptionally well stocked and staffed for a small grocer - and the meats & cheeses they smoke on site are terrific.

This house was an amazing find for our annual multigenerational family gathering of 22. It looks exactly like the pictures if not better. Rita & Joe were great hosts, quick to answer questions at time of booking and during our stay (sometimes within minutes), and were accommodating to our special requests. The beautiful living room with wood burning fireplace was massive yet also warm and inviting, perfect for our family to gather in one area. The professional kitchen was very clean, plenty of prep space, and well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for our large group. Comfortably beds, plenty of towels and supplies. Beautiful & peaceful setting. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well maintained the house was, especially considering its age. This is not a modern house by any means and it has its quirks, but our family absolutely loved the beautiful craftsmanship and character of this mansion. Highly recommend, coming back next year!

We were a family in town for a reunion and the house was perfect. Allowed us some space and was fun to walk around the downtown area. Lots of good places to shop and eat nearby. Really enjoyed our stay!

Being retired and taking maybe trips around the United States we found this Airbnb to be one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It’s an incredibly pretty house located on 250 acres in the most serene settings. We sat in the backyard, had drinks and watched the deer walk around and enjoyed the scenic beauty. It was such a pleasure to be there.
