We had an incredible stay in La Fortuna with our family, including our 3-year-old and 1-year-old. The home is perfectly situated right at the base of the volcano, offering unobstructed, stunning views—we could see Arenal from the living room and even while relaxing outside. The host was extremely thoughtful, leaving cold beers and champagne in the fridge for us, which was such a warm welcome after a long drive. Communication was excellent, and the concierge-style service made it easy to plan activities that worked for both adults and young kids. The space felt peaceful, safe, and well-equipped for a family. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area—especially families looking for comfort, scenery, and great hospitality.

We had an amazing time at this property! The house was incredible. The views were absolutely breathtaking and made every morning feel special. One of the most memorable moments was when a toucan came to visit us right on the property. We were lucky enough to snap some photos. Hopefully I can upload them here somehow. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Ana was very responsive and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. if you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended and would love to come back.

We loved staying at Casa Santa Fe! We even wish we could go back because our time there felt too short. When we arrived we had complementary platano chips and traditional Costa Rica drinks waiting for us. The space was very clean and made us feel comfortable. The pool was amazing and a great addition! We enjoyed our nights in watching TV together on the couch on rainy nights. As well as the variety of options of excursions to do and good restaurants to eat at! Danny was also very responsive and helpful, which we appreciated, it being our first time in Costa Rica. Even after our stay, he was helpful in offering us new options for another Airbnb when we needed it. We would definitely stay again!

Aqua Vida is simply amazing. Words cannot describe how you’ll feel when you see everything you get with this property. It’s off the main road in La Fortuna but it’s very safe and peaceful. You get all the privacy you want while being 5 minutes away from everything in town. A huge natural spring pool, a covered area where you can cook, have your meals or just hangout, a huge yard to play in, a stream going through the property with beautiful trees and absolutely stunning landscaping. All this and you’re still not even in the house. Book this place. You’ll be happy you did.

It truly is a little slice of heaven! Pictures don’t come close to doing it justice! We stayed 3 nights. It was easy to get to and close to the La Fortuna area. We can’t recommend pie in the sky enough! From check in to checkout it was wonderful!

This spot was a little bit difficult to find, but don’t let that discourage you. The home was beautiful. The rooms are located outside. It is very close to downtown area. Definitely recommend this.

The other reviews are correct. This place is even more beautiful in person. We did not the amount of space, how clean it was, and how luxurious it felt. It was like being in a resort. Even the way its designed was gorgeous. It was 4 adults and 2 kids and we all loved it. The kids especially loved the pool and how low it was and we loved the convenience of the market directly across the street. Also everything is a short taxi ride away. And to top it off, the one day pass at Las Logas Resort was awesome. We spent hours there walking the grounds and enjoying the hotsprings pools!! This is definitely one of the best airbnbs we've stayed at offering so many amenities withing close proximity to downtown and other attractions. Also the host Rebecca was very responsive! Be careful to follow the instructions when checking in because you will be lost. Thanks again Rebecca!

We loved this oasis. House was clean with great air conditioning and beds were comfortable. Kids loved the pool and my teenager used the bball court. Loved the location—close enough to get to La Fortuna quickly, but in a quiet, peaceful place out of the crowds of Fortuna. Pool was pristine. I was worried about bugs from one of the reviews, but we didn’t have any problems with bugs/mosquitos at all. Lots of fun for kids ages 6-17. Esteban was so helpful—helped us book tours easily and gave us suggestions on so many things. The tours we booked through him were great and not more expensive than if we’d booked on our own. We also tried Victorinos and loved it. Great kid options and not expensive. Highlights were La Fortuna waterfall, Baldi Hot Springs, El Salto rope swing, eco glide zip line and Tarzan swing tour, free hot springs (in the river), giving supplies to and stopping by to play with kids at the orphanage in La Fortuna.

Beautiful home was very clean and had excellent air conditioning. Fantastic location only 1-2km from parts of La Fortuna where we kept going for new restaurants or shopping. The location is ideal because you are just out of range of the noise and lights, close enough so everything is accessible, and the beautiful view of Arenal from the 2nd story balcony just can't be beat. Responsive hosts including a local expert were all quick to respond to any question, and a great source of suggestions. My family would love to stay here again the next time we visit.

This cute little place was perfect for the two of us. Having the AC in the bedroom was so nice and made for a good nights sleep. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio and watching and listening to all of the birds and watching the cows who are right next door. Fortuna Waterfalls is close by and it’s a quick trip into town. We would stay here again.

Beautiful place, very clean and well kept, safe area, and responsive host. Google maps took us down the street to a different house but it was still on the right road so fairly easy to find based off accurate pictures on air bnb website

Absolutely incredible stay! I would recommend this place to anyone. The interior of the place was special, and the view of the valley was stunning! It was an easy transport into La Fortuna, which was great, but also far enough away where we felt secluded from the tourism and at peace. 10/10 recommend.

The house has a ton of open space and room. The pool and house are beautiful, and the hosts were extremely responsive to any issues and helped arrange tours. Some of the positives- Lots of space- TONS- both inside and outside. Places to hang out, places to eat, etc. There is both an inside and outside kitchen and refrigerator. The location is close to La Fortuna, restaurants, and shopping. It is only 20 minutes to Tabacon and most all the tours. The large room for kids had tons of beds. The house also has a few quirks that are worth knowing. First, like almost all houses in the La Fortuna area, it is on a septic tank, so you can't flush toilet paper. They are upfront about it, but some Americans aren't used to that. The stairs leading to the upper beds in the kids room are very small and difficult to navigate, and we were concerned that our youngest would potentially fall from them. The bathrooms/showers in the kids room are just one room, and the water can back up into the room.

Danny's place was amazing. Beautiful surroundings and the trails were amazing. The place was spacious and pretty well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Nice alternative to the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna, but still close enough to get to all the attractions in the La Fortuna area. We would go back to Danny's place for sure! The surroundings are even better than the pictures.

If you are looking to get away and find peace, this is your place. It is a stunning home with a view for days. The drive is challenging, but so worth the effort. Be sure to pick up everything you need before you head up because it's a trek to town. El Tigre Waterfalls is a must and you can't go wrong with any of the ziplines. Put this on your list!

Really enjoyed our stay! Gated community was quiet and felt safe. Loved the private pool, deck and amazing view of the Arenal Volcano. Especially appreciated the “Welcome” food /drink items, especially after a long day of travel. We had a great time in La Fortuna! Restaurants, shops and activities all nearby within 10-15 minute drive. The host Danny and his wife were very friendly and welcoming. They offered recommendations on local restaurants and markets. They were always responsive if we had any questions. The home was spotless, spacious with private, gated parking. We really enjoyed our trip to Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

We absolutely loved Bob's place! We stayed for 2 nights: 2 kids and 2 adults. The place is big, comfortable and beautiful jungle views and surroundings. What stood out the most is how attentive Bob was and went above and beyond to make sure we felt right at home. He responded quickly to anything we asked and was super helpful not only at Casita but also when we had random questions about Costa Rica culture or recommendations around town. There is a ton of nature to observe from the clean and well appointed Casita. Bob took us on a personal night walk through the property to spot frogs and other nocturnal creatures. The kids had a blast in the pool. Thanks Bob!

While many other reviews mentioned it, I’ll have to note here again: the view is amazing. I enjoy taking so many photos through out our trip as the view is spectacular and it chnages quickly at different times, different weather. The weather has been kind to us so it only rained very hard mostly at night and few hours in the afternoon (mid June). Sitting out on the deck in the morning is peaceful and not too cold. All of the descriptions are accurate. The road coming here is rough but so is almost everywhere else in Monteverde. Definitely one of the best Airbnb places we’ve been.

It really is an incredible place, a comfortable, beautiful and very well-equipped house. It may be one of the best beds, pillows, and sheets you've ever found on an Airbnb. If you go with dogs, it is an ideal place because it has a large garden for them to have fun safely. Norman was super attentive, and responded to all my messages in a timely manner. If you're going to this area, don't hesitate to stay here. This place made my top 5 of the best Airbnbs in Costa Rica.

The house is very large and beautiful, the pool is very nice, everything is very clean and tidy and excellent service from Janeth, very attentive, quick response and very kind, we thank you from the heart for your nice attention and help.

This was by far our family’s favorite stay at an Airbnb! From the moment we drove up, it felt like we stepped into our own oasis! The house was beautiful with amazing views, especially of Arenal. The outdoor living spaces were perfect for our big family. The house was accessible to our day trips to Fortuna and rafting. We hope to come back again soon!

The place exceeded our expectations—it was even better than the pictures! Maria was an incredible host, super welcoming and full of great recommendations for things to do in the area. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. Spotting cows during the day added such a charming touch to the experience. The home was spotless and beautifully maintained. I genuinely wish I could have stayed longer, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly, highly recommend staying here!

From the minute we walked through the doors we were in love! The place is gorgeous inside and out with breath taking views. We wished we had booked for longer because of how amazing the place was along with all the adventures you could do in the area! They booked massages for us and zip lining making things so seamless. 10/10 recommend this place and we can’t wait to come back again in the future!
