Cottage holiday rentals in El Olivar

Great property for large groups. The surroundings are stunning and its extremely peaceful. The amenities of Riaza are not far away and there are lots of things to do in and around the house itself, so its a great option for families with children. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of space for our group of 21. There are only 3 bathrooms and only 2 with showers so if you have a large group, that can be an issue. However, I'm being fussy. This is still a great option and I would definitely recommend it.

The house is very nice, very large, clean and does not lack any detail. I recommend staying at the house.

The accommodation was very cozy, and the area very quiet. Quite close to Cuenca and with good recommendations from the host. Perfect for couples looking for a direct disconnection from large urban areas.

If you go climbing, there are areas nearby as well. And the ruins of Valeria a stone's throw away. Very cool!"

Very well functional designed, making optimal use of the spaces. Very estheticly simply designed and very cosy. The garden beautifully incorporates wild and domesticated vegetation on quite a large landscape. I could very well see myself coming back whenever I want a holiday in Madrid area, with a rental car.

Everything was perfect, beautiful views, ideal for disconnecting, very quiet, the hostess gives excellent attention.

The place had everything and was spotless. Jose was very kind and attentive to us, and he helped us with everything we needed. The house is located in the middle of a hill and is accessed by stairs. Although it has a supermarket and a bus stop 5-10 minutes walking, the area is not pedestrian and you have to walk by road. Even so, it is a very quiet place with beautiful views, ideal for hiking.

Ana has responded very quickly to messages. She gave us bodegas recommendations and was waiting for us until we arrived to explain all of us and welcome us even if it was late. Everything was perfect. The house like the photos.

The house is wonderful, very comfortable, the pool is a luxury and Carmen is super attentive, we would repeat for sure. In the village there are little things to see: the castle, the doll museum and the Visigoth treasure. Access to Toledo and Puy du Fou is very easy.

We are delighted with the stay, not only is the place perfect to disconnect and be quiet with your loved ones; but Alberto is a great host. We had an adverse event and he came in person to help us in every way he could. The place is amazing, and it has all the amenities, they take care of every detail. We are very grateful for the treatment we received, and we will not hesitate to return!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and generosity that we instantly felt at home. The entire family went out of their way to make our experience special, sharing local recommendations and even cooking us the most incredible paella! The house itself is stunning, full of charm, clean, and perfectly located overlooking the rock face. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the kindness and hospitality of José and Raquel. We had an amazing time at the home in Valdeprado! The house was super comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was really helpful and always answered our questions promptly. My grandchildren had a blast in the playhouse, toys, and pool. We also loved the charming town of Valdeprado and the friendly people there. The owner of the market and cafe was super welcoming and hospitable. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the home was even better than we had imagined!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pablo’s, from the location, the cottage, itself, the stone village and meeting Pablo. Out in the country yet 45 minutes to Madrid or an hour to Segovia (a must see) with many other villages in between. Pablo couldn’t have been more helpful with where to shop for groceries, hiking routes and small villages to see. The cottage has most things you’ll need for a short stay. We particularly enjoyed the wood stove one chilly evening and having coffee and breakfast on the balcony. The charming bell tower tells you the time every half hour until 11pm. We never found it intrusive. Listen out for the “cow” bell…you’ll see a man guiding a herd of sheep down the road. Being from the US, we don’t get to experience these small, beautiful, quaint villages. And Pablo’s recommendations and friendliness just makes it that much better. Be aware Apple Maps has the cottage further down the road than it actually is. We can’t wait to return. You should go too.
