Pet-friendly holiday rentals in El Faro

It was literally living in a place close to heaven. It’s not only furnished with so much love, but also the attention to detail made it much more special. We were in awe upon our arrival, and found it hard to leave. We would like to recommend it to everyone, but it is so special, that we just might keep this as our best kept secret! From the moment we booked, our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. They offered excellent recommendations, answered our questions with warmth and patience, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything is within walking distance. The way the villa is situated allows you to wake up to the gentle embrace of sunlight streaming through the windows, and ending the day with golden sunsets was pure magic. It is absolutely breathtaking. The thoughtfulness throughout made it easy to settle in and feel completely at ease, as if we were staying with dear friends. A stay so extraordinary, you’ll cherish every moment and never want to leave.

My wife and I spent around 2 weeks at this beautiful place. The views are amazing and the property is located in a quiet neighborhood. Anita is amazing, a super host, very helpful and knows the area well. She answered all our questions and recommended restaurants and other businesses. Although Mijas Pueblo is a walking distance away, we found driving our rental car saved us time and energy. Everything seems to be just a few minutes away, even the coastline and the airport. We like peace and quiet, so coming back to this quiet setting at the end of the day after spending time in busy Málaga, Marbella or Fuengirola was a delight. Pool and terrace were a joy, clean and well maintained. The surroundings are in a beautiful mountain, so you will find yourself driving or walking uphill or downhill most of the time. There are a few steps from the entrance to the rental unit. I’m in my 60s and good health, had no issues. We can’t wait to be back!

On arrival Clotilda showed us around the apartment, and we were really delighted, it was one of the cleanest we have stayed in, and the views from the balcony, and main bedroom are absolutely beautiful. The extensive gardens and pools were pristine, with plenty of seating around, with gorgeous views of the beach and ocean beyond. The property is just a 3 minute or so walk away onto the boardwalk and beach, which suited us as we spent most days on the beach when not sightseeing. Bed linen, towels and throws were all freshly laundered to a really good standard. There were plenty of kitchen utensils should you wish to eat in, although we ate out every evening at the lovely local restaurants, most within easy walking distance. Clotilda was a really thoughtful host who responded quickly to any questions we had prior to our arrival, and during our stay. Thank you.

I would just like to say this place is amazing and juan is an amazing guy. He let us stay because we had a late flight and never asked us for a pen anymore. This has got to be by far the best place. I've stayed there on all my trips around Europe staying at Airbnb's. juan was so helpful given us a device where to eat where to go for Days out his place was so clean fresh and just felt like Home I will be definitely coming back to stay here and I would strongly recommend anyone who's thinking in the coming to this part of Spain to stay at this place my wife and kids after 10 days, don't want to go home all I would like to say to juan yes thank you so much and I loved staying at your place. We had the best week here. Private, and spacious. Sebastian was very responsive and if we had any questions, we would simply message him and he got straight back to us. The pool was great and the kids swam day and night. Would highly recommend

We had a great holiday in this well presented and well appointed villa. The property is very much as you see on the photos - smart, modern and spotlessly clean. The location is also great - in the heart of the Marbesa urbanization, with easy access to the beach and all of its lovely restaurants. Comms were excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended, and would definitely return.

Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit in dieser wunderschönen Villa! Die Unterkunft ist modern, stilvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Die Räume sind grosszügig geschnitten, die Betten super bequem und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Aussenbereich mit Pool, Lounge-Ecke und gepflegtem Garten ist einfach traumhaft, perfekt zum Relaxen oder für gesellige Abende. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig, aber dennoch nah am Strand, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war jederzeit freundlich, professionell und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, diese Villa ist ein echter Geheimtipp in Marbella! 🌴☀️

Ons verblijf bij Virgina was prachtig! Enkel oogde op de foto's het appartement groter dat in het echt. Maar toch net groot genoeg voor 4 personen. Zalig het balkon om je ochtendkoffie op te drinken en te ontwaken en zalig het terras waar we tot de late uurtjes kan aperitieven met een prachtig uitzicht tijdens de golden hour. De jacuzzi was zalig om in te ontspannen na een dagje te gaan stappen. Maar als er dan toch 1 ding is waar ik echt commentaar op heb, is het de uitrusting in de keuken. Er waren naar mijn menig te weinig spullen om met 4 te leven. Er waren maar 4 borden en moesten deze telkens eerst afwassen om opnieuw te kunnen eten... Ook de grootste pan was veel te klein om er vlees in te bakken en helemaal scheef getrokken. Ook wat extra keukenhanddoeken waren welkom geweest. Maar voor de rest was het appartement zalig! Proper, modern ingericht, prachtig uitzicht vlak aan het strand.

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, the location is great with outstanding sea views. The outdoor balcony area was especially nice. The host was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive to messages was able to give recommendations to us and was able to quickly answer any questions we had during our stay. The pool area is extremely nice.

Tamara, nous avons réellement passé un merveilleux séjour dans votre logement. Pour de premières vacances avec notre bébé, nous étions ravis. L'appartement était bien situé et nous avions une superbe vue sur toute la région depuis le penthouse. Tout est rapidement accessible en voiture que cela soit les magasins ou la plage (6-8 minutes). L'appartement était parfait, la literie très moelleuse et les accessoires bébés top (lit bébé et chaise bébé). Merci également pour votre contact et nos discussions quant aux diverses questions durant le séjour, vous avez toujours su être a notre écoute. Si nous avions juste une chose a demander pour une prochaine fois, c'est une horloge dans le salon (avec la petite, nous n'avions pas toujours un téléphone sur nous) Encore un tout grand merci pour ce beau sejour et au plaisir de revenir dans le coin 😊

We had a wonderful stay at this villa in Mijas! The location is perfect — peaceful and private, with a beautiful garden and stunning views over the golf courses. The neighborhood is very quiet, ideal for a relaxing getaway. The villa itself is spacious and well-maintained, with large rooms and a very comfortable common area. The pool is big and perfect for enjoying the sunny weather. Communication with the host was excellent — very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

We’ve recently returned from a wonderful stay at the villa with our family. The view was absolutely stunning and created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday. We were especially grateful that two high chairs and cots were set up and ready for our grandsons - such a thoughtful touch that made things a lot easier for us. The villa was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. Pepe was incredibly helpful and very friendly throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. A lovely stay all round!

Cher and Jose are wonderful hosts and their property is lovely. Spent a week there, loved it and will certainly be going back in the future. Didn’t see a cloud in the sky and the pool was just perfect to dip in and out of to stay cool. Walked to the Marina every night for food and now starting our diets ready for our next trip! 🤣 Thanks again Cher - lovely seeing you again and see you again soon. 😎

Magnifique villa avec environnements et vues magnifiques sur la mer méditerranée et sur l'arrière pays, jardins fleuris très agréables. La villa est très confortable, y compris la literie, et très bien équipée, notamment si vous voyagez avec des enfants ou un bébé. José à été très accueillant, et très disponible le en cas de besoin. Départ et retour flexibles pour nous, ce qui a été un vrai plus par rapport à nos vols. Très belle région à découvrir. À conseiller !

Couldn’t rate this place higher - everything was exactly as described, and matched all the other 5 star reviews. The apartment itself was immaculate and there wasn't a sound in the area which made for a very peaceful sleep. There was nothing we could think of that Andreas hadn’t already provided - if you’re thinking of booking, do it!

Ralf estuvo pendiente a mi familia desde que reservé. Me ha dado todas las facilidades para la llegada, es muy flexible. Alina, la persona encargada de la entrada es muy muy simpática también y MUY atenta. El piso es genial, muy limpio y una decoración muy bonita. Las camas son muy cómodas. Nos dejaron una botella de cava, una botella de agua fresquita y algún que otro botellín para cuando llegáramos, todo un detalle. Me ha encantado vivir aquí durante 4 días. Si tuviera que poner alguna pega es que no tiene cortinas opacas ni persianas por lo que, desde que amanece, no hay oscuridad. Y, el edificio está pegado a la autovía por lo que hay que tener cuidado al incorporarse o al entrar, pero con cuidado, no hay problemas. Gracias por todo a Ralf y a Alina.

All was good. If you are looking for a quiet place, the finca is perfect. Also to work their the wifi connection was good and fasr had no problems to join online meetings when i was their.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Paco. Le logement était très propre, idéalement situé, très bien décoré, et la vue était tout simplement incroyable — encore plus belle que sur les photos ! Un grand merci à Paco pour sa gentillesse exceptionnelle : il a été très attentionné dès notre arrivée et toujours disponible si besoin. On sent qu’il aime accueillir et ça fait toute la différence. Nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans l’appartement, conforme à la description du site Airbnb, propre, spacieux et confortable. La décoration est très soignée et moderne, ce qui a vraiment ajouté une ambiance chaleureuse. La vue depuis la terrasse est superbe, surtout au coucher du soleil. La propreté de l’appartement est impeccable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par notre hôte, qui s’est montré très attentionné envers nous, réactive et agréable. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dès notre arrivée. Je recommande vivement.

We had a fantastic stay! Carlos was a wonderful host—quick to respond and incredibly helpful. When we mentioned the oven wasn’t working, he had it replaced right away, which was much appreciated. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. We spent a few lovely days here celebrating an 80th birthday, and it couldn’t have been better. Would definitely return!

We had a lovely stay at Daniel’s apartment. We visited as a family of four with a 2 years old and 14years old daughters. Apartment was absolutely perfect for us, beautifully decorated, brilliantly equipped and located in a stunning area. Very quiet (just what we wanted) with busier areas (Marbella) just 30mins away. Beautiful swimming pool just on your doorstep and sea approximately 7mins away. It’s a stunning walk by the seafront too. Supermarkets within 5-10mins walking distance and the airport 30mins drive. Daniel is a magnificent host, very helpful, kind with ‘nothing is a problem’ attitude. Highly recommended this place. Definitely one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. Thank you Daniel. We spent in this amazing place whole one month. Everything was better than at the pictures. The view is breathtaking. Totally recommend Martin and Joanne as a host and this Apartment to rent. Joanne Martin Thank You and hope to see You soon again :)

We had an amazing time, stunning property, fabulous pool. The kitchen has everything you need, plenty of outside space. Secluded garden with a view of the sea in the distance, shops and towns anywhere from 10 -20 minutes away by car. We came to relax and unwind and it was the perfect place for family time. The host Dirk is excellent, helpful, immediate response to any question. The house has everything you need and more. We didn’t want to leave.
